Okay, so I read the account over on Gawker (which seems to REALLY hate Paul Janka.  Did the guy bang the editor’s girl, or something?), and they make a big deal of PJ not disputing the girl’s story.  However, there are certain things that set off my Spider Sense about the girl’s recollection of what happened.

Now, I’m sure some of it is probably true.  It wouldn’t surprise me if Paul made some aggressive moves on the girl (that seems to be consistent with his style), but I seriously doubt that it was a “violent” and “tawdry” as it sounds.

From the way this girl’s account reads, its like she went to meet the guy with the idea already in her mind that she was going to douche all over him.  And as far as him assaulting her, I think there’s a fine line between being aggressive with a girl and being a crazed rapist.  It sounds to me like if PJ was really going to try and rape this girl, he had numerous chances to do it, but kept backing off because of her insistence.

Now, I wasn’t there, and this is probably going to devolve into a “he said / she said” deal, but it just seems to me like this girl was out to crucify Paul from the get-go (I mean, she rejected the guy until she found out he was a professional pick up artist, and THEN decided to go on a date with him.  Suspect?  Yeah.), so that makes me think that maybe things didn’t play out exactly as she recalls them.

Of course, in this society, we’re all trained to believe the girl first and shit all over the guy, even if he didn’t do anything wrong.  I don’t know if PJ really did all the things this girl claims – and if he did, he should be punished for it – but anyone who’s been in the game any amount of time can tell you: girls are crazy and they will do messed up shit to you for no good reason.

I think PJ might have a target on him because of his quazi-celebrity reputation.  He’d better watch his back.

The First REAL Movie Based On The Community?

We all know that The Game was optioned by a studio to be turned into a movie, and like many other books got stuck in development hell, so my guess is we probably won’t see a movie based on Neil Strauss’s book anytime soon.

However, there is another movie out there called Let The Game Begin, and it looks like it actually has some “real” actors in it.  You can check out the trailer for it here.

Oddly enough, I actually took my first ever Mystery Method workshop with the producer of this movie in 2003.  You can definitely see some Mystery Method influence in the trailer, even down to the Matador lookalike pick-up guy.

From what I know, the movie is about a loser “AFC” who learns how to be a ladies man and uses his social skills to help him in business.  Now, the movie doesn’t look all that great (in fact, some of the club/pick up stuff is kind-of painful to watch in the trailer) but what the heck?  Any movie with Stephen Baldwin in it is worth checking out, right?

As a quick side note – Zan is also in the movie playing HIMSELF (of course).  He’s even in the trailer for a moment.  Leave it to Zan, that pimp.  =)

Is Picking Up Chicks Against The Law In The UK?

I was just on my way to my spot where I like to do some game when I spot 3 dudes with the PUA uniform. I spotted them and went to lean against a wall to see them in action from a distance while I was making sure that they were in fact PUAs.

I see one of them do a 3 set aproach and eject in 3 seconds, so I had some doubts.
Then, another one of them crosses the street to speak to this blonde lone wolf and after him goes a cop.

In matter of seconds, the cop arrests the guy that now just looks completely shock and disbelief and I think that he actually handcufs the guy. A second PUA crosses the street to see whats going on and gets arrested as well… So the third PUA just goes in and the party begins:

3 random dudes are arrested and searched in a corner of Oxford St. by one uniformed cop and 2 other civilian-dressed. I wanted to help, but I was risking exactly the same as the other 2 dudes and besides, I dont even know them, so I better mind my own business.

So I move on to my spot, open a lone wolf…. takes me 30 minutes to get her number and I walk back Oxf. St. again… AND THEY’RE STILL THERE!!!

Seriously… if you’re reading this and you’re the dudes, please just tell us what the hell just happened… Is it because you were opening too many sets on cctv?

LOGISTICS – Planning The Lay

In the past few months I’ve been so busy writing articles for other companies and people that I rarely get the time to write about any of my own thoughts and ideas. I’ve always been a massive fan of the game, as I’m sure many of you out there are. The thing I’ve personally always enjoyed the most about it however, is Innovating.

When I was first discovered by the community as a whole it was based on the fact that a lot of my concepts were actually different from a lot of the current stuff out there, and they where also backed up by as many psychological studies as I could possibly find to support my arguments. Since then a lot of my ideas have been built upon and developed by the community. Over the years I’m glad to see they’re actively being used by people all across the world. Something I would never have dared dream was actually possible.

Despite all the work I’ve been doing I still haven’t stopped developing new ideas and  theories and researching into the practical explanations and studies to support these ideas.

I’ve never been one to keep my work to myself and then sell them in some high priced product, I much prefer to get them down on paper and share them with the people who will actually use them, namely those reading this very article. I’m now actively taking the time to jot down some of my new theories and revisiting the old ones in a bunch of articles I plan on releasing on this site, after Thundercat kindly gave me permission to do so.

I’m hoping these will be topics little covered in the community to date. They will all be designed to be as explanatory as possible and to be practical things you can use straight away to get results asap. What Causes Homosexuality?

I just got done reading a facinating article in the latest edition of Psychology Today, all about scientists who are studying the origin of homosexuality and what they believe causes people to be gay.  One interesting thing is that more is known about homosexuality in males than females because women’s sexuality is apparently more “fluid.”

If there is one thing that has always seemed obvious about homosexuality, it’s that it just doesn’t make sense. Evolution favors traits that aid reproduction, and being gay clearly doesn’t do that. The existence of homosexuality amounts to a profound evolutionary mystery, since failing to pass on your genes means that your genetic fitness is a resounding zero. “Homosexuality is effectively like sterilization,” says psychobiologist Qazi Rahman of Queen Mary College in London. “You’d think evolution would get rid of it.” Yet as far as historians can tell, homosexuality has always been with us. So the question remains: If it’s such a disadvantage in the evolutionary rat race, why was it not selected into oblivion millennia ago?

Twentieth-century psychiatry had an answer for this Darwinian paradox: Homosexuality was not a biological trait at all but a psychological defect. It was a mistake, one that was always being created anew, in each generation, by bad parenting. Freud considered homosexuality a form of arrested development stamped on a child by a distant father or an overprotective mother. Homosexuality was even listed by the American Psychiatric Association as a mental disorder, and the idea that gays could and should be “cured” was widely accepted. But modern scientific research has not been kind to that idea. It turns out that parents of gay men are no better or worse than those of heterosexuals. And homosexual behavior is common in the animal kingdom, as well—among sheep, for instance. It arises naturally and does not seem to be a matter of aloof rams or overbearing ewes.

More is known about homosexuality in men than in women, whose sexuality appears more fluid. The consensus now is that people are “born gay,” as the title of a recent book by Rahman and British psychologist Glenn Wilson puts it. But for decades, researchers have sought to identify the mechanism that makes a person gay.

Video: Thundercat Vs. 2 Hot Guys

Hey guys,

This week I have a very interesting video to share with you, but before I do, I want to give you a bit of background…

I got my friend Erica to invite a number of girls to come by my place one hot summer’s day.  None of them knew why they were going to be there, they were just doing it as a favor for my friend.

So I had NEVER met these girls before.  They didn’t know me.  I didn’t know them.

I had two guys I knew show up as well.  Their names are Theo and Zack.  Here’s a little bit about them:

THEO

Theo is a personal trainer here in Hollywood.  He’s extremely muscular and fit, and every girl who sees him is instantly turned on by his looks.

When you compare Theo’s chizzled body to my rotund Kung-Fu Panda-esque body, there’s simply no doubt about it – I’m the loser!

ZACK

Zack is a big party guy.  He goes out to the clubs 5-6 nights a week (no kidding!).  By his own admission, he finds hooking up with girls “easy.”

Zack is a very good looking guy, with a head of hair I’d kill for.  Me, I’m not the club going type anymore.  So when it comes to social pick-up skills, Zack should have me beat.

The Shoot

The way things worked is that Erica would bring the girls out one at a time, and they each met with Theo, Zack, and myself.

After each meeting, my friend Ryan would interview the girls about their experience while my friend Steve video taped the interview.

I want to re-itterate:  NONE of the girls really knew what was going on!

And trust me – this was NOT a professional production!  It was just my friends with a video camera.  No make up artists, special effects, or any of that stuff.  I’m sure you’ll be able to tell from the quality of the video, this was really HOME MADE!

My friend Ryan, who interviewed each of the girls, was absolutely SHOCKED by their responses.

In each instance, I came of just as attractive, and in most cases – even MORE attractive – than the good looking guys!

P.S.  Some of you haters might be inclined to think that this video was somehow “staged.”  I can assure you, that is not the case.

None of the girls were coached on what to say.  All their reactions stem from the conversations they had with me and the two other guys.

You can tell, just by watching the way they answer the questions, they’re NOT reading from a script.

It was very important to me that we capture the REAL REACTIONS of these women, so I can prove to all of you how effective personality is when it comes to generating attraction.

At the end of the day, I know there are some guys out there bitter and shallow-minded enough to still think I “faked” this shoot.  But that’s okay.  Those are the guys who’ll never succeed with girls.

I’ll leave it to you to decide if what you see is real or not.
