Your Prayers Are Needed And Welcomed…

Hi all,

Some of you may have noticed the blog hasn’t been getting it’s regular updates.  Well, there’s a reason for this.  Among other things, my father was recently hospitalized.  He contracted a serious case of pneumonia, which somehow lead to problems with his liver and kidneys.

When his liver and kidney functions were starting to shut down, he was rushed to the hospital.

It has been a very stressful time period for my family and I, and when someone you care so deeply about could die, little things like updating a blog tend to fall by the wayside.

My father is doing better after some treatment, so it seems the worst is behind us.  However, I would appreciate it if those of you out there who believe in prayer would keep him in mind.  He’s the greatest man I know, and the thought of losing him really affected me.

All too often, I think we can easily take those who are close to us for granted – whether they be our parents, siblings, or friends, we never seem to know what it is we have in our lives until its gone.

I consider myself lucky that my father made it through this experience, and it has really given me a new appreciation for all the blessings I have in my life.

As I was taking stock of all the things I normally take for granted that I am so thankful I have in my life, I realized that one of those things is actually this blog, and all those who take the time to post on it.

I’ve been running this site since 2004, which means it’s been almost 4 years now.  I’ve has some good times with it, and some bad times, but I always come back because this community really means a lot to me, as does your participation in this site.

As the year comes to a close, I’m going to do my best to update the site more regularly than I have been.  And I’ve got some great posts coming up that I’ve just been too busy to write lately, but I’ll be taking time to deliver them to you soon.

So I guess for now – thank you for reading and keeping this site going, and please, keep my father in your prayers.

December Is TOP 10 Month!

It’s the end of yet ANOTHER year, and you know what that means…

It means it’s time for another Top 10 List, ranking the best Pick-Up Artists of the year.  And this year, I must say, I’m sure my list will stir up a lot of controversy.  There will be a number of fresh faces and new names, so some of you may be really surprised at the rankings.

As always, leading up to the unveiling of the list over Christmas, we’ll be running a few contests here on the blog to celebrate another year of Pick Up and the PUAs who made it possible.

The Latest PUA – David Faustino? (AKA – Bud Bundy!)

For those of you who grew up in the 90s, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fond memories of watching the classic FOX sitcom "Married With Children," about a blue collar shoe salesman and his miserable life with a bitchy wife and two dysfunctional kids.

For those of you who remember the show, the character of Bud Bundy was played by actor David Faustino.  Apparently, he hasn’t done much acting since the show ended (and why would he need to?  Syndication on that show is probably a real cash cow!), but word is he also owns a nightclub here in LA, so I’m sure that keeps him busy.

But apparently, even former TV actors and Nightclub owners need help with the ladies.

Apparently, David Faustino recently got a divorce, and is now back into the singles scene.  He is also apparently an avid student of the Pick Up Community, and a member of the Stylelife Academy.

I’ve heard from multiple sources that he was at a recent Stylelife event, and is apparently a big fan of Neil Strauss and his teachings.  He’s also aware of FastSeduction.com, Mystery, and lots of other community related material.  (I have yet to confirm whether or not he’s a fan of RSD.)

Anyway, I find it interesting that the pick up community seems to be becoming more and more mainstream, and more and more guys find it acceptable to be a part of it.  Now, with David getting into the mix, it looks like we may soon have "celebrity endorsements" when it comes to PUA teachings.

Katia Lands In Jail

Okay, I don’t know the validity of this rumor, since it’s one of those "father’s brother’s cousin heard…" things, but word is that everyone’s favorite PUA vixen Katia has landed in jail.

Just a bit of background for those of you who don’t know…

Katia is the Yoko Ono of the Project Hollywood days.  She’s an attractive russian girl who Mystery picked up and became his girlfriend.  I believe she even moved into Project Hollywood for a while, at least long enough to seduce Herbal T, at the time Mystery’s friend and business manager.  The love triangle that ensued eventually lead to Mystery getting kicked out of the house, Herbal moving back to Texas with Katia, and not too long afterwards the whole Project Hollywood experiment collapsed.

You can, of course, get more details about this whole affair in Neil Strauss’s book The Game.

So the rumor going around is that Katia (I don’t even know if I’m spelling her name right) has gotten arrested on drug charges and is now actually doing time in prison.

Honestly, this doesn’t surprise me at all.  During the time I knew her over in Project Hollywood, she ran with some VERY shady characters.  In one instance, one of her friends who was both drunk AND high tried to break into the Project Hollywood house because she owed him some money (or something like that).  He ended up breaking the front gate door off its hinges.

I don’t know any details about the arrest, how long she’s in for, or even if there’s any truth to this story.  However, it’s not beyond the realm of believability.

2 Girls, 1 Cup – Proof Girls Will Do Anything For Money…

Okay, there’s always been a debate about just how far the internet can go to contribute to the downfall of society…

Well, I finally found a website that proves the downfall of civilization is at hand.

Apparently, there’s a culture of YouTube videos all dedicated to reactions to a video called "2 Girls 1 Cup."

I stumbled upon this phenomenon when I saw this video:

So that’s pretty funny, and it got me wondering – "What exactly is the video these people are all watching?"

Turns out its a video of two girls partaking in Coprophilia.  For those of you who don’t know what that is, be thankful you don’t!  Because it has to do with taking sexual pleasure with a pretty dirty piece of human excrement.

Anyway, it appears this video is taking the internet by storm.  Everyone and their mother is posting reactions to watching the video of two girls taking a crap in a cup and then eating it.  So much so, that I’d even go so far as to say that this is bordering on a weird cultural phenomena not seen since the "Diet Coke And Mentos" fad.

Regardless, I won’t be posting the video on this site, but I will link to it for those of you who are brave enough to watch it.  Just be sure that once you do, you come back here to leave your reactions.

Day Game Seminar

So I met one of the new "up and coming" dating gurus out there at the PUA summit here in Hollywood during the summer. (By the way, I’ll be making a very special report on that very soon) His name is Oliver, though his online handle is Grungey.

He operates the workshop business Captivate2Connect.

I just got an email from him that he’s going to be hosting a "Day Game Seminar," which will go into detail on how to pick up women outside the bar/club scene, during your every day routines.

I think this is a great idea, because to me, the REAL pickups happen during the day.  Women in bars and clubs have their defenses up way too high.

Not only that, but Grungey also has some killer speakers lined up for the event – including David Wygant and Carlos Xuma – along with lots of other exciting speakers.
