You know, part of being around in the "community" a while means I’ve gotten to know a lot of people, and very few of them are really cool guys.  Luckily, one of the "cool guys" out there that I’ve met is Little Big Dick (or the more PC "LBD").

LBD was one of the guys I befriended early on in the scene.  This is one awesome dude.  He’s a short guy – like REALLY short – but he’s also a bad ass take-no-prisoner’s marine.  He did three tours in Iraq as a mercenary for the love of God!  Don’t no one mess with the LBD, motherfucker.

He also has the proud distinction of being the first guy I ever met in the seduction community to get his ass beaten down for AMOGING a guy.  When I first met LBD, he had just recovered from a savage bar fight he had when living in Alaska.  Apparently he was hitting on some guy’s chick, AMOGed the dude, and when his back was turned the guy attacked him.

But despite getting beaten down, and going to war three freakin’ times, LBD came back to the seduction community.  And you know what?  He’s actually GOOD at it.  If any guy out there thinks their height is an issue when it comes to getting chicks, just learn from this guy.  He knows his shit!

So why am I bringing up LBD now?

Dimitri The Lover Hates Cancer

So a while back I posted about Dimitri the Lover in my Podcast on Phone Game.  I honestly can’t believe how much attention this guy is getting.  Even though he’s a douche, he seems to be becoming a huge internet celebrity.

Anyway, in his famous phone call, he talks about the girl’s mother having chemo or something.  Well, it appears there’s a precedence for this…

My mom had cervical cancer, so following surgery, she stayed at the
Princess Margaret Lodge so she could recieve treatment everyday for a
few weeks. We spent a day together shopping around Younge St, and she
takes these steroids that are prescribed to help her nausea, but it
makes her sorta manic and hilarious. So while laughing at something she
said or did, some tall guy walks up to my mom and asks her if he could
hit on "her friend", me.

He was over the top, complimenting me, and so I held out my hand to
introduce myself and he kissed it. We exchanged numbers, and that was
that. A few days later I told him I’d be in town to visit my mom and go
to Kids in the Hall, so we could get a coffee or something. Well, we
decided to do something after the show, so I texted him, saying "I’m at
the show with my mom, I’ll call when it’s done." After, I took my mom
out for snacks, and checked my phone.

Timestamped at 11:06, were 3 raving mad text messages about how rude it
was to not call him, he’s not on call for me, he took time off for me,
go back to my classless hick boys, I blew it with the best thing I’ll
ever meet, etc. So all this came from what originally way, being 6
minutes late from the time I said I would call.

So, I decided to call him and act like I didn’t check them, because I
wanted to see if he’d back peddle or anything. He didn’t, so as he was
raving on again, I just said "Sorry for wanting to hang out with my mom
when she has cancer!" And hung up.

Hat tip to Konen for this one.  Read the entire thread – it truly is hilarious.

I’m going to start a contest next week to see who can make the best video demonstrating the "Dimitri Method" over on YouTube.  If we’re lucky, maybe we can start a whole new trend like the Two Girls 1 Cup reaction videos.

Basically, it’ll have to do with you guys demonstrating how to be over-the-top rude to women.  Give me the weekend to figure out a suitable prize, and on Monday I’ll post the rules of the contest.

This is gonna be fun…

Gurus Promoting Pheromones?

July 9, 2008 by

So this guy Mack Tight over on his blog eseduce wrote an interesting post about how he hates gurus like Ross Jeffries, Sinn, and Johnny Wolf who promote Pheromone Colognes, calling them a fraud.  Check out a snippet…

Mack Tight Writes:
I think the idea of a “magical” cologne or soap that will cast “spells” over women and make them want to fuck you when they smell it is a complete bunch of carnie snake oil bullshit.

I believe in selling guys who are not successful with women products and services that will help them change their inner game and learn better social skills. I obviously do not believe in fucking them over by selling them a magical pipe dream.

For these supposed gurus to be promoting this stuff is totally fucking hypocritical of them and shows how far they will go to make a quick buck and scam their followers.

I do give Ross credit for having enough sense to distance himself from the pheromones claims of the product. He seems to know it is BS but yet plugs the product anyhow and even has allowed his name to be used in conjunction with an upcoming body mist product by the company.

If they just advertised it as a cologne or soap I would have no problem. Maybe some girls may like the smell…

All in all, I tend to agree with Mack Tight on the Pheromone Issue.  I don’t know if it really makes a difference or not.  I do know that having a good cologne is ALWAYS a good idea, though, because smelling nice is a big help when you’re with a woman.  I’ve tried this Pherlure cologne before, and I thought it was pretty good, even if it’s a Pheremone based cologne.  However, I think my favorite is Calvin Klien’s Obsession.

I don’t really have a problem with Gurus pitching colognes to people, though, as long as they aren’t trying to convince guys that ALL THEY NEED is a cologne to get laid.

Dr. Phil Bitch Slaps Ross Jeffries – Have Video Proof

Ha ha ha – he he he – hoo hoo hoo…

Ah, where to begin…

First of all – why the hell would any of these guys go on Dr. Phil in the first place?  Do you know any GUYS who watch Dr. Phil?  (Well, STRAIGHT guys?)  I certainly don’t.  Dr. Phil’s audience is WOMEN.  So why bother wasting time pitching your seduction business to a bunch of chicks if you aren’t teaching them how to get men?  Snarf.

Okay, all that aside though – I thought the Mystery Method guys came off very well in this show.  They were cool, calm, collected and walked that fine line between being "politically correct" and honest about what they teach.  Fact is, Mystery Method DOES work on women.  It is effective.  That’s why it’s taken off the way it has.

Now, whatever you feel about Savoy and the current state of Mystery Method, post-Mystery, is immaterial to this show.  Sure, I would like it if Mystery was still in charge of the Mystery Method name, but that doesn’t mean these guys aren’t offering value to other men by teaching what they are.  (Plus, there’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff about the meltdown over at Mystery Method I won’t be sharing here, since I’ve been sworn to secrecy not to reveal it.)

So now that we’ve got Mystery Method out of the way, let’s get to the real mean and potatoes of this.

Ross "MINE’99" Jeffries.

And boy oh boy, was MINE’99 channeling all his evil, selfish, hypocritical energies in this episode!  Wow.  I knew MINE’99 was delusional, but the extent of his warped reality has only gotten worse with age.  Maybe his horrible friz-fro is somehow affecting his brain in the same way an alien parasite would?  Who knows.

Anyway, back to the show…

Orgasmic Birth?

March 19, 2008 by

Here’s an interesting article about a professional mid-wife who is trying to promote the benefits of natural childbirth vs. C-sections and the use of drugs.  She says that women can experience a type of "birth ecstasy" under the right circumstances.

Gaskin began her practice as one of about 250 hippies who pooled their money in 1971 to buy rural land south of Nashville to form a commune. Soon she and a few other women on The Farm were delivering 25 to 30 babies each month.

While training herself, Gaskin sought out doctors and other midwives and devoured medical texts. But she never sought a medical degree, instead helping to create an alternative certification so lay midwives could prove their competency.

Not all obstetricians think home births are inherently unsafe. New York obstetrician Heidi Rinehart spent a few weeks at The Farm while a medical student. Although her husband also is an obstetrician, when they were having a baby, they asked Gaskin to be their midwife.

But even doctors who’ve never heard of Gaskin have felt her influence because of patients who have read her books, seen her birth videos or heard her speak.

“They request or demand or vote with their feet to have the kind of birth they want,” Rinehart said.

Now, Gaskin has a film in the works that is in keeping with her anti-establishment, freewheeling nature.

“We’re doing a movie called ‘The Orgasmic Birth,’ ” she said.

That’s not a metaphor. Gaskin says that under the right circumstances women experience a sort of birth ecstasy.

“I mean, it’s not a guarantee,” she said, shrugging her shoulders and smiling, “but it’s a possibility.

“It’s the only way I can think to market it to (this) generation.”

If women could really orgasm during childbirth, I think we’d be seeing a lot more babies being born.

Working On Your Man-Ass?

March 19, 2008 by

So I came across this article about a new pair of men’s designer underwear that is supposed to make your ass look fab-ulous!  Check it out:

The issue of fancy men’s underwear is still threatening to undermine this great country. Andrew Christian
has unveiled his new, horrific men’s underwear with Flashback
Butt-Lifting and Contouring Technology. He promises that it "gives men
the illusion of having a sought-after "bubble butt" without having to
spend hours in the gym." Great John Wayne’s ghost, is a bubble butt now
sought-after among men?!? An actual quote from the designer,
who is suspected by me to be working with the terrorists:
"Surprisingly, I was actually inspired to create this technology while
at the gym and seeing how hard men work on exercising their buttocks. I
just knew that there had to be a way to achieve similar results by
simply wearing underwear." Good. God. After the jump, before and after
pictures of the new underwear technology at work. We beg you, do not be
seduced.

Maybe it’s the gym I go to, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man working on his ass.  I didn’t even know bubble-butts were sought after by guys!  Is this the male equivalent of the wonderbra, where as soon as you get it off it leads to nothing but disappointment?

Guys REALLY need to stop caring about designer fashion.

Breaking News: Real Social Dynamics Still Sucks Ass

Tyler
So the other night, I’m minding my own business when I get an Instant Message from Donovan over at the Seduction Chronicles.  He asks me to check out this post where someone other than me finally takes RSD to task.

Now, I know I get a lot of flack for ragging on the Real Social Dickweeds over there in the magical world of PUA-land where Tyler and his minions continue to drink the cool-aid about how they rule and everyone else sucks, so I was happy to see that I’m not the only one being vocal about it anymore.

(Just to be fair, nearly every major PUA I know talks shit about Tyler and crew, but they don’t do it publicly.  That distinct pleasure seems to be reserved for yours truly.)

So my first reaction to this post was – it went too easy on these guys.

Now, most of what I’m going to write here is directed primarily at Tyler and Papa, since they pretty much are RSD.  All the other guys – Jlaix, Christophe, and anyone else I don’t know, I have no real problem with.  They are just the most recent brainwashed minions to fall under the Tyler spell.  So this in no way is meant as a criticism of them.

Getting back to it – the purpose of Donovan’s post was to talk about the mythical "Blueprint" which is now 4 years in the making.  It’s basically a critique of Tyler’s teachings, and that reflects as to why the Blueprint is never coming out.

Now, RSD just released "The Blueprint Exposed," or whatever the heck their next lame product is.  But make no mistake about it – it’s just the same old recycled Tyler crap you’ve always gotten from him.

The biggest complaints I hear directed towards my criticisms of the RSD boys and their teachings is that I’m "jealous" or "petty" because they "won’t hang out with me" or that we had some type of falling out because Tyler didn’t want to write articles for me any more.

Make no mistake about it – that’s not true.  I used to consider these guys friends, and I kept quiet about my concerns with Tyler and crew for a long time after that relationship deteriorated (this happened around the time the boys were all ganging up against Mystery in Project Hollywood).

The thing that made me go public with my criticism of RSD was the deluge I got from people who took their workshops and felt they got scammed.  Before long, I was getting too many of these emails and bad reviews to ignore.

Then came the evidence that RSD was putting inexperienced instructors into the field to teach paying customers stuff they could not even do themselves.

Finally, there was the "Deep Throat" who sent me private messages from RSD’s instructor’s message board specifically outlining how they planned to trick workshop students into thinking they improved in their workshops when really it was just a trick for inexperienced instructors to make the poor student feel good without having to actually deliver results (and therefor not deliver a refund).

All that combined, I felt the need to speak out, because my personal experiences with these guys has never been anything but bad.  Papa is a sociopathic liar, and so is Tyler – Tyler is just more charismatic and better at hiding it than Papa is.  And neither of them really care about anyone other than themselves – so you can add a healthy dash of narcissism in there for good measure.

Now, I know what you’re thinking:  "Thundercat, what does this have to do with pickup?  Why are you hating?  Negativity sucks.  Blah, blah, blah."

Well, this actually has a LOT to do with pick up, since these are guys that students look up to and follow.  These are also guys who have the power to REALLY mess people up.

The reason I’m writing about this is really because the focus on Donovan’s post was about the teachings of RSD.  Well, let me say this right now:

THE TEACHINGS WORK.

High Heels Boost Women’s Sex Drive?

Here’s an interesting article about how wearing high heels work a woman’s "sex muscles" and give them better orgasms.

0587428100
STILETTOS can be good for a woman’s sex life, says a study which claims wearing them “directly works the pleasure muscles linked to orgasm”.

Experts found the high heels toned women’s legs and strengthened pelvic muscles.

In tests, Dr Maria Cerruto, of the University of Verona, Italy, discovered that wearing a pair
of ‘‘moderately high heeled shoes’’ had beneficial effects for a woman’s sex life.

‘‘Heels work the pelvic muscles and reduce the need to exercise them.

‘‘Wearing heels during daily activity may reduce the need for the pelvic floor exercises necessary to keep that part of a woman’s anatomy toned and elastic,’’ Cerruto said.

She asked 66 women under 50 about their sex lives, exercise regime and shoes.

In tests, their pelvic muscles were more relaxed in higher heels, increasing their strength
and ability to contract.

‘‘Women often have difficulty in carrying out the right exercises for the pelvic zone and
wearing heels could prove to be the solution,’’ Cerruto said.

Manolo Blahnik, whose shoes are worn by Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw, said: ‘‘This is wonderful news. I’ve been hounded for years about how bad it is for posture, but
. . . when you put on a high heel it makes life more exciting. For women, it’s a way to appeal to
the male species.

‘‘There’s a limit. Anything over 11.5cm, you can’t walk properly; it’s no longer elegant.’

No wonder women spend so much money on shoes.  =)

Top CFO Fired For Being A Player

January 28, 2008 by

Hat tip to Josh for sending me a link to a story about a hot tier CFO of a major health insurance company who got his ass canned for being a player.  Check it out:

David Colby was one of corporate America’s most admired executives before he was fired abruptly last spring for what was vaguely described at the time as misconduct of a "nonbusiness nature." Now details about his personal life are spilling out, and it’s clear he was more than just Wall Street’s darling.

Details in a motion filed Jan. 15 in Ventura (Calif.) Superior Court depict the former chief financial officer of health insurance giant WellPoint as a corporate Casanova — a world-class, love-’em-and-leave-’em sort of guy who romanced dozens of women around the country simultaneously, made them extravagant promises and then went back on his word.

The moral of the story?  DON’T LIE TO WOMEN.  It will always come back to haunt you.

Awesome PUA Myspace Page

All righty…

I’ve always been a big fan of PUAs branching out and keeping their own blogs and websites dedicated to helping the community and others learn how to improve their love lives, and there has been an explosion of PUAs on social networking sites.

There’s my own social networking page – tclounge.com.  That site has grown beyond my own expectations and people really seem to be enjoying it.  And it’s 100% focused on Pick Up.

But I recently stumbled across a fabulous Myspace page by someone named Vaoncan, which is a fantastic resource.  In his blog, he’s compiled a few posts that he bills as the "Best of MASF" that you simply must check out if you’re a student of pick up.

I’m really happy to see this kind of expansion of the community.  Anything that makes it easier for guys to learn the right way to get women is a-okay in my book.

Check out Vaoncan’s myspace page here.

The Shocking History Of Vibrators

January 24, 2008 by

I recently came across an interesting article that focuses on the history of the modern vibrator.  If you’re looking for a fascinating read, check this out…

Until the 20th century, American and European men believed that
women were incapable of sexual desire and pleasure. Women of that era
basically concurred. They were socialized to believe that "ladies" had
no sex drive, and were merely passive receptacles for men’s unbridled
lust, which they had to endure to hang on to their husbands and have
children. Not surprisingly, these beliefs led to a great deal of sexual
frustration on the part of women.

Over the centuries, doctors prescribed various remedies for hysteria
(named for the Greek for "uterus"). In the 13th century, physicians
advised women to use dildos. In the 16th century, they told married
hysterics to encourage the lust of their husbands. Unfortunately, that
probably didn’t help too many wives, because modern sexuality research
clearly shows that most women rarely experience orgasm from
intercourse, but need direct clitoral stimulation. For hysteria
unrelieved by husbandly lust, and for widows, and single and unhappily
married women, doctors advised horseback riding, which, in some cases,
provided enough clitoral stimulation to trigger orgasm.

But many women found little relief from horseback riding, and by the
17th century, dildos were less of an option because the arbiters of
decency had succeeded in demonizing masturbation as "self-abuse."
Fortunately, an acceptable, reliable treatment emerged: having a doctor
or midwife "massage the genitalia with one finger inside, using oil of
lilies or crocus" as a lubricant. With enough genital massage,
hysterical women could experience sudden, dramatic relief through
"paroxysm," which virtually no medical authority called orgasm,
because, of course, everyone knew that women did not have sexual
feelings, so they could not possibly experience sexual climax.

You know, it never ceases to amaze me how little anyone knows about
female sexuality.  I mean – I know I am curious about it?  Were there
no other men throughout history into the va-jay-jay?

Why We Flirt

January 23, 2008 by

I came across a rather interesting article on Time Magazine’s website that asks the question "Why We Flirt?"

Contrary to widespread belief, only two very specific types of people
flirt: those who are single and those who are married. Single people
flirt because, well, they’re single and therefore nobody is really
contractually obliged to talk to them, sleep with them or scratch that
difficult-to-reach part of the back. But married people, they’re a
tougher puzzle. They’ve found themselves a suitable–maybe even
superior–mate, had a bit of productive fun with the old gametes and
ensured that at least some of their genes are carried into the next
generation. They’ve done their duty, evolutionarily speaking. Their
genome will survive. Yay them. So for Pete’s sake, why do they persist
with the game?

The Truth About NEGs

All right…

Yesterday I posted a funny video that parodied Mystery and how he teaches to use "NEGs" to pickup girls.

It’s funny, because I remember Neil telling me that when he went on his book tour for The Game, the press mostly asked him about "NEGs."  I also recently ran into a group of people who, when they found out I teach dating advice for men, instantly brought up this idea of what a NEG is…

And not surprisingly, people tend to have the wrong idea about NEGs and how they’re used.  So I just wanted to take a few minutes and explain the true nature of NEGs.
