The Godfather of the Seduction community, MINE’99, was on the John Henson Project this weekend on SPIKE TV. I didn’t get to see the show, but some people on mASF did. Here’s the negative view…

John Henson: Yeah, okay. Jesus Christ shut up.It was pretty funny. john Henson’s pretty funny too. I’m gonna watch that show from now on.
And now, for the slightly LESS negative view…

Just peeped it myself. Jim/john whatever henson deal was lets just say biased. I mean MINE’99 and i aint been friends well…. EVER, but that shit was biased.I seriously doubt MINE’99 clapped for video of men being slapped at his openers and thrown up on in one in a joke skit.
Id say MINE’99 did OK, he didnt take it too serious and just had fun, probably knowing it was a shit promo of his material.
Anyhow at least MINE’99 can teach guys or at least motivate guys to try to get laid, henson tortured me with his lame hershey highwayman jokes til the ross segment. MINE’99 will be selling SS 5 years from now, henson/plus writing staff might be a lounge acts in vegas if lucky at that time, CRAP comedy they write and deliver.

Well, there you go. I didn’t get to see it, but if modern culture stays true to form, then it’s not surprizing they showed MINE’99 in a less than favorable light, deserving of it or not. But, his exposure to the mainstream does get more people involved in the community in the long run. If anyone knows of any video of this on the web, feel free to post the link in the comments section.

DYD/RSD Team-up?

I talked to Papa the other day, who told me some very exciting news. According to him, Real Social Dynamics, the company Tyler Durden and Papa teach their popular in-field workshops through, is officially teaming up with David DeAngelo and Double Your Dating. It seems that they’ve been given permission by David D to teach officially sanctioned in-field workshops after Double Your Dating seminars, which David will help to promote to his students.
The first of this is coming up soon with the Australian DYD seminar. It seems TD and Papa will be there Mardi Gras weekend March 6th-7th and will be holding workshops the following week. You can sign up for the workshops through their website, but chances are you will also be able to do so if you’re going to be in Australia for the seminar as well.
More details on this coming soon.

Robert Greene, author of two of the greatest books of all time — The 48 Laws of Power and The Art of Seduction, chimes in on his message boards about his new book, which supposedly “bridges the gap” between the two books he’s already written as a modern day “Art of War.”
Robert Greene writes:
I am currently writing a chapter on the notion of the counterattack—always letting the other person go first, make the first move, and then playing off of what they give you. In martial arts, jujitsu and other swordfighting schools that only use the counterattack. In games, such as backgammon, what we call the back game. In soccer, the classic counterattack. In politics, staying above the fray and letting the other guy hang himself with nastiness. In seduction, drawing someone in, in order to take command of their minds. The essence of the counterattack is that you are working with their mind, their personality, their weaknesses to bring them down. This is chapter nine, in a section on defensive warfare. Next, I will be writing about the Bluff, Intimidation games.
Sounds awesome. If you’re interested in checking out either 48 Laws or Art of Seduction, buy them through my site so I can get a commission! =)

The ultimate PUA — Rick Salomon

I got to hear Howard Stern interview Rick Salomon on the radio while driving to work this morning. Now, if you’re like me, you probably don’t recognize the name. But this guy is the other star of the Paris Hilton sex tape (ie, he’s the sausage with feet that you ignore while watching Paris do her thing). He’s also part owner of TrustFundGirls.com, which is currently selling the new, High Quality, Paris Hilton sex tape.
The interview on Stern was quite astounding to me, because I had no idea just who this guy was or what his background with women was. But needless to say, I was impressed. This is the guy all those dudes living in Project Hollywood are aspiring to be. Howard went through his resume of girls that he’s slept with, and it reads like the fuckin’ Internet Movie Database, from actresses to supermodels, this guy has done them all.
Turns out this Rick Salomon guy comes from a pretty rich family, his dad was a former executive VP at Warner Brothers. He was a drug dealer in Hollywood from the ages of 15 to 20. He mentioned the most famous woman he was ever with was Drew Barrymore, who he fucked when she was 15 and he was 20. Of course, she was legally emancipated at the time, so the sex was legal. He’s also the ex-husband of Shannon Dougherty, and made his living as a professional gambler after he gave up dealing drugs. He’s friends with some incredibly famous socialites, and has naked hot tub parties with the likes of Pamela Anderson. He’s now making shitloads of money off of selling the Paris Hilton tape, and is currently seeing a rather famous model/actress/singer/socialite who’s in an unhappy marriage (he was sketchy on who it was, since the affair is ongoing). The guy is 35 years old.
Howard tried asking Rick Saloman about how he goes about getting all these girls, and Rick’s responces were that of a Natural who doesn’t really know how he does it. It seems his MO is to get a friend to introduce him to the girl (social circle/social proof), and then he parties with her and tries to bed her within the same night (10 hours) of meeting her, otherwise he says it usually doesn’t work out. He seems to do well with the stimulus junkies and party girls, though he has bagged a few of the more “conservative” celebrities out there.
Rick also briefly talked about a few of his “non celebrity” lays, and he says he always has some type of “normal girl” on the hook.
Now this guy, ladies and gentleman, is a pimp. Forget Tyler, I’m wondering when he’s gonna start giving workshops! lol.
But it’s funny, because I recognized a lot of stuff in this guy that I have noticed in a lot of the more naturalistic guys I’ve met in the community, most notably people like Craig, Zan, and Maddash. He doesn’t really talk that much, and when he does he usually has something funny or interesting to say. He has specialized knowledge of some fairly taboo subjects (drug dealing and gambling) that lends some mystique and excitement to him. He’s a fun guy who likes to party, and cares very much about his own pleasure. He also has a really strong frame (though he did end up qualifying himself quite a bit during the interview, but for the most part he seemed aloof). He’s also very comfortable in his own skin, and he gets very sexually aggressive with women VERY early on it seems.
Overall, an interesting look into the frame of a natural. And after the social proofing he got on the Stern show today, chances are it’ll be even EASIER for this guy to get laid.
Can you say “jealous?” I know I can. =)
Completely Cold

A lot of people seemed interested in the book Style reffered to on Cold Reading in his rather mean post on Social Robots (but I guess when you’re as good as he is, you have the ability to look down on us mere mortals).
Regardless, thanks to IN10SE’s help, I was able to track it down. It’s called Completely Cold and is written by Kenton Knepper. It seems to be a book on mentalism tricks for street magicians, so it only seems natural Mystery would have incorporated something like it into his game. Here’s the description from the website:
For years Tank and Kenton have been working on an “ultimate” system for “psychic readings”. They dreamed of a system using absolutely No memorization. No props whatsoever! No having to read a spectator’s body language for information! A system you could do over the phone! Simple. Never fails. Use it anytime, anywhere. No set up of any kind.
This system is so easy, you can learn to do the readings in minutes. You only need to know two amazingly simple, yet potent rules. Even the two rules don’t need to be memorized…Once you know the secrets, YOU KNOW IT COLD! You have never seen anything this perfect and this simple in any other “cold reading” materials. It is truly a dream come true!
If you are a magician who has ever been asked to do readings, but had to back off because you didn’t have a secure system, this is for you! If you are a seasoned mentalist or reader, this will greatly enhance what you already know. Just add in Completely Cold wherever and whenever you like. You’ll never believe the power of this system’s simplicity, until you try it!
You can buy the book here.

Look out boys & girls! Formhandle is laying the smackdown on all the newbies who aren’t reading the Posting Guidelines on mASF.
Formhandle writes:
Too many guys the past week not bothering to read the Posting Guidelines before or after registering an account. And too many of you willing to help only exacerbates the situation since other special flowers will see guys being helped even though they didn’t read the Posting Guidelines. It’s so simple and so hard to miss during the registration process, not to mention easy to spot when lurking even for just one day, I will no longer tolerate guys who post their stupid basic one-itis or FAQ-answered questions literally 1 day or less after registering. Most of the special flowers can’t even wait an hour before posting this insipid shit. From now on, all shit like that is going to the Museum Of The Reading Impaired as soon as I see it or am informed of it.
On top of that, I’m going to bitchslap any of you who help the special flowers before it’s clear that such guys have AT LEAST tried to help themselves (Posting Guidelines, FAQ, DAFS). I will not stand by and tolerate the quality of information passing through this forum getting degraded in anyway by having people’s time wasted replying to the most BASIC of B.S., shit that even AFCs with common sense can deal with, let alone someone who’s taken even just 30 minutes to read the BASICS around here.
Gotta hand it to Formie. He really does earn his pay. Moderating a site that big ain’t easy. You can read the whole thread here.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. It’s taking me a little longer to transcribe the last part of my interview with Swinggcat, mostly because I was out all weekend. Did a pretty good PU of a stripper on Valentine’s Day, but we’ll see if that goes anywhere. If anyone has good advice on getting strippers to meet you outside the club, e-mail me and share the wealth =)
Anyway, I’ll have the last part of the Swinggcat interview up this afternoon.

Apparently MINE’99 was on CNN’s Anderson Cooper show this weekend. I didn’t get to see the show, but I’ve heard from those who did they weren’t too kind on poor old MINE’99. But reading through the transcript on CNN’s website, it doesn’t seem like he came off too bad. He talked a little bit about yoga he teaches guys, and even threw in a little bit of Cocky/Funny, which of course he invented. Invented WAY WAY WAY before David D ever came along. Just look at his first book. IT’S IN THERE! I promise.
You can check out the transcript here. It’s about half-way down the page. You can read the responses to the taping on mASF here.

New and Improved Maniac Pick-Up Guide

It seems Formhandle has been busy fixing shit up! It would appear as though Maniac Hight’s website has recieved a facelift. I wonder if this has anything to do with the rumored return of Maniac to posting on mASF? Perhaps we have a new guru looking to create some buzz for some future products? Time will tell I suppose.
Formhandle writes:
Maniac High’s PickupGuide.com web site is now fully templatized and navigation made easier, with key links back to FS, and FS will again more prominently reciprocate the links to PUG.com. Just one minor page next/prev feature to fix & turn on and all will be set with that. For those concerned, this adds no burden to Maniac as far as updating his own site, the process is all automated in real-time.
Added features are:
- cleaned up & compacted HTML (automated)
- GZIP deflate feature for browsers that support it (90% of browsers)
- with compacting/GZIP, pages will download 60-70% faster
- integrated acronym pop-ups
- heavy crawler auto-banning (same as FS, but less restrictive), this will curb even more the random “Lay Guide” exploitation rip-offs on the web
- automatic previous/next page navigation (still tweaking this)
- automated HTML titling for easier bookmark trackingIf anyone runs into technical problems with the templatized setup, let me know!

Well, it must be Friday the 13th. I can’t seem to find where I saved Part IV of my interview with Swinggcat! Ugh. The thought of going back and having to transcribe that again is not appealing. I’m going to have to search my hard drive and see if I saved it in the wrong file. It might be on my home computer, in which case I’ll have to wait until I get home from work to post it. *grumble*
Is it the weekend yet?
PUA Archives Updated

It seems that the mASF Archives have been updated, in Formhandle’s attempt to catch mASF up with the 21st century. Here’s the official word from the master & commander of Fastseduction.com:
Formhandle writes:
They’re all now up-to-date. No, I didn’t yet add some newer people to the archive process… it’s still a bit CPU intensive to get that sort of volume in there.New feature:
Each article now has a link back to the live web archive, which will allow for copy & pasting of text which isn’t allowed with the encrypted PDF files.
If you guys would like other, similar, features, let me know. Once I get threading support working, can provide a link in that regard, will make “researching” archive contents more useful.
Ah! Copy and pasting! Finally. Now everyone can steal everyone else’s stuff MUCH more efficiently. =)
