I found this great video clip of when New York Times best selling author (and the most powerful of the Jedi) Neil Strauss, aka Style, was on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show with Jessica Alba, and actually demonstrated a few things on her. It wasn’t an out-and-out pick-up, per say, but Style did do a quick value elicitation on her, so if you guys ever run into Jessica Alba, you’ll know what to say.

Props to Donovan at the Attraction Chronicles for putting this one up. I think this clip was very entertaining and funny. The deck was really stacked against Style, but he pulls it off like the #1 PUA he is. Any other guy would have crashed and burned in that situation.

okay on topic — when I saw this video posted I was excited — a chance to see “one of the best” demonstrate awesome social skills in a high pressure situation.
Well. He fucking blew it. His body language, tonality, etc was all godawful. Watch. Every time somebody makes a dig at him, he squirms around uncomfortably. Laughs after talking. Buys into AMOG frames from Kimmel. Etc etc.
I mean, you’d hope that someone reputedly as good as he is would have actually internalized the behaviors he must have practiced to pull so much ass.
I’m also surprised that Thundy didn’t call him on that. He FAR from “pulled it off,” he made himself look beta and the entire community look stupid. From a marketing perspective (I’m sure thundy gets kickbacks somehow from Neil’s products), I would’ve done my best to HIDE this video.

Yeah, A real PUA would of had Alba giving him head right there on the talkshow, while getting high-fived by Kimmel over her back. Since that didn’t happen, Style’s a fraud.
This thread is very interesting to me. I think it says a lot about a person when they have to hide behind an internet moniker and insult people who are almost certainly leagues better than you. Profanity is usually just a cheap substitute for an inadequate vocabulary and demonstrates weakness when used in the manner most of you are using it. Now if you had the intestinal fortitude to say these things to Neil or any of the RSD guys’ faces, in public where you could be subject to scrutiny and humiliation, I bet all you smack talkers would crumble instantly.
Try spending your criticism time working on yourself and see how good YOU can get. You’ll be a much happier person for it.

Is it definite that Neil is Jewish? I mean he kinda looks Jewish (as far as the stereotype goes). But Strauss isn’t necessarily a Jewish name. Oh I was thinking that maybe his mother was in the Holocaust or something and thats why he knows nothing about his family. Holocaust survivors can be very secretive about their pasts.
