Okay, there’s been a lot of hub-bub about a story in the gossip rag Sunday Mirror about Lisa Levridge breaking up with Neil Strauss to date musician Robbie Williams. You can find the story here. There are also a few mASF threads on the topic here and here.
I got a lot of emails from you guys over the weekend concerning this story, so I went right to the source. Since I know both Neil and Lisa, I decided to contact them and see what was up, especially since you can trust the Sunday Mirror about as much as you can trust Page 6, which is wrong about 90% of the time.
I was told there was no truth to the item, and that you shouldn’t believe everything you read in the gossip rags. And Lisa confirmed this.
So there you go. That’s all I know on the subject.

The article has many basic editing errors. The style in which it is written is unprofessional and can easily be fabricated. Even if this was true, who gives a fuck? I’m sensing a lot of animosity toward Strauss because he got a lot of guys into the game with his book and then all of the sudden he pulls out as all of these guys put hero worship on him. Why are so many people clamoring for the Anihilation Method? Is it really that powerful?
And if so, who cares? How many people have seen ‘Style’ in action and know for sure that the A.M. works 100%? It’s still based on a mix of what he’s learned from other gurus; in other words, it’s not so much a new method as it is taking what’s worked best for him and getting rid of what hasn’t. It’s possible to do-it-yourself.
Are there people so lazy that they aren’t willing to do this work on their own? It’s taken me three years to get as far as I have right now, and while I’m no Guru yet, I’m still a lot better off now than when I started because my experiences became part of my personality. I won’t be able to change how I act unless I learn through experience a new and better way to act.
Maybe I’m rambling, and maybe I’m going to get flamed. I have no doubt that a lot of people are going think I’m defending Style or Thundercat or somebody. That’s how most people work… you’re either with or against…

2) He posted many messages denouncing people’s “idol worshipping”. WHen the book comes out he gets all kind of fanboys crawling out of the woodwork. He doesn’t seem to mind the “idol worshipping” so much now.
3) In the book, as he did in past posts, he accuses a lot of people in the “community” of being “social robots”. He preaches that in order to “win” you have to leave the game. What does he do next? He comes out with the “ultimate” method to sell.
Talk about being a sanctimonous bullshitter.

Why would Strauss have to decrease his value? Leveridge knows that he’s a pick-up artist, if he wanted to see other girls, she’d have to accept that. IME, if you decrease your value to a girl just so she breaks up with you, she’s going to go around telling her girlfriends that you turned into an asshole.
