Models, Celebs, and Hot Chicks

Tyler Durden has a great post up on mASF about dating incredibly hot and social proofed chicks, such as models and celebritites.

In dating and gaming on supermodels and celebs, I’ve noticed a consistent trend of them getting insecure at some point and using their status to qualify themselves to you. One thing that I’ve noticed is that if you acknowledge that you know who they are, you lose status immediately. But at the same time, to ignore that you’ve seen them before is also bad, because then they are concerned that you will go home and find out who they are and then freak out. So they’ll have this cool guy who will just become another fanboy later on either way.

It’s also funny how they’ll start downplaying their own accomplishments, in a way that conveys their insecurity about them. It’s quite consistent and always interesting to see that these people have many insecurities like AFCs.

I’ve found the best formula to at first disacknowledge the thread. That means don’t answer whatever they say, and just plow through with your standard gameplan/material/whatever. From there if they say it again, just say “Awesome.” or “Cool.” That will frustrate them even more because they can’t repeat themselves but they didn’t get the validation either. If they seem very vexed and NEED the validation, say “That’s *really* cool” to show that you’re paying attention and not an asshole or trying too hard to be indifferent, and then completely move on but do NOT get stuck going down *their* thread because it will shut your game down.

From there, I’ll go into what most of the big city PUAs have been doing for a long time, and what Style posted about as “Added Value” routines. That means that you have a bit of esoteric insider knowledge tee-ed up that you can subtley drop. That means in a way that’s completely congruent and does not come across in any way whatsoever as qualifying yourself. The second they hear that, its all “OK, this guy is down. That’s why he’s not impressed. He’s boyfriend material, because he can handle my status.”

I also don’t recommend going into anything that downplays their status as if you’re not impressed. Better to just ignore than neg on this. If you neg on it, it shows insecurity. If you act like its completely normal, then its just a non-issue. If your game is tight, they will be attracted like all the other girls you game. Not only that, but they’ll be ten times more attracted than all the other girls, because you’re a rare commodity.

btw, I just got back an hour ago from a date with Elizabeth Kelly who I picked up in this exact way. I’m sure that if you do a www.google.com search for her, she will pop up all over (watch as the KJs get into a debate as to whether or not she’s a true 10, when either way she’s a gorgeous girl in real life and regardless took strong skill to get). I date girls like this and of much higher profile all the time while I’m in Los Angeles, because they are all over the place and we roll in their scene. It’s a smaller scene than you’d think. People know eachother. You can’t just rip it newbie mission style and get a bad rep. Once you’re in and understand the subcommunication though, you reap the rewards. It takes time to learn, and I could post for ages on it, but what I’ve laid out here is the bare minimum. Give it some thought, and never shy away from an opportunity. Because this game was built for these girls -> game is all about increasing your social calibration to the level that you are a 10 yourself. Dating 10s then becomes automatic, because 10-guys are so rare that you need very little connection with them to date them, unlike 7s and 8s who have no such scarcity issue and can be more discriminating.

Good stuff from a guy who actually picks-up on models and celebs on a regular basis. BTW, did I ever mention how much I hate Tyler Durden? =)
