Renegade Rapport Returns!

Hey guys,

You may have noticed I’ve been "Slacking Off" posting lately.  (For those of you screaming at me about when the next Pick Up Artist recap will be done, I am very sorry – I’ll get to it this weekend!)

Well, the reason is, I’ve been working extremely hard trying to get Renegade Rapport back and ready to go again.

When I first released Renegade Rapport back in February, the response to it was overwhelmingly positive.  I think a lot of people really enjoyed it and learned a lot from it (at least according to all the emails I received from happy students!)

Since then, I’ve been getting lots and lots of emails from people BEGGING to know when it will be coming back.  After all, the first time around, I only released a limited number of copies, so not everyone was lucky enough to take advantage of it.

Well, the wait is over!  Renegade Rapport will be going on sale again Thursday, September 27th!

Still Recovering

Hey guys,

I’ve been getting slammed by emails asking about the Recap for the 4th episode of the Pick Up Artist (I honestly had no idea so many of you were looking forward to my dumb-ass recaps!).  All I can say is… Chill.

I’m working on it.

I’m still recovering from the whirl-wind weekend of the PUA Summit, where I met a lot of great people and some new up-and-coming pick up artists.  I was there for the ENTIRE weekend, and sat through 90% of the speakers, and gave a speech myself, so that exhausted me for Monday.

Tuesday I spent catching up on work.  I also had to put the finishing touches on my upcoming teleconference call.  (By the way, if you’d like to attend, there are still a few spots left.  Click Here to check it out.)

I’m hoping I can get my Recap up sometime today, but… well, I’ve just bought a new Nintendo Wii, and that’s been taking up all my free time lately.  (That damn thing is FUN.)

Anyway, I didn’t really much care for Episode 4, so I’m also not all that motivated to write about it, so it’s taking me a little longer than usual.

But don’t worry, it’ll be up soon.

MySpace For Pick-Up Artists

For a while now, I’ve been wanting to develop a place that can really bring the community together.  It seems as seduction teachings get more and more popular, the community becomes harder to navigate with the influx of new people.

So I wanted a place where everyone who wants to improve their lives with women could go, hang out, meet guys in their own area to go sarging with, and freely exchange ideas.

Back in the old days of Mystery’s Lounge, that board was a lot like that.  You had a group of guys, brought together by their desire to learn how to do better with women, helping each other, giving advice, and meeting up in field.  It was beautiful, and nowadays, something like that doesn’t even exist.

So I thought I’d (try to) bring it back.  So I created a social networking site just for Pick Up Artists.

I call it Thundercat’s Lounge.

I want it to be a place where anyone can go, exchange ideas, share experiences, and meet others to help them out.  I invite every school of seduction (yes, even the people I hate) to come and participate on the site.  I won’t be banning anyone because I don’t agree with their teachings, and I won’t use it as a forum to bash other people.  I want everyone who uses the site to have access to all the information they can get – all in one place.

Everyone who signs up gets their own blog.  You can make it private so just your friends on the network can see it, so you can keep a seduction journal, get feedback, but not worry about women seeing it.

You can also create your own message boards (or groups) where you can invite your local friends to participate in conversations.  This is great for local lairs without a website as a place to gather, share information, and meet up.  And lairs that do have websites can use it as a way to recruit new members.

You can also upload your music, videos, and pics!

I’ll also be piping in feeds from other seduction blogs so you can keep up-to-date on all the latest information and news in the community.

I’d like to state that I won’t make any money from this site.  It’s strictly for people who are interested in the seduction community.  I don’t plan on marketing anything on the website, and I hope other "gurus" will participate and help educate others.

I ask anyone out there reading this who’d like to participate to head on over the the lounge now, sign up, and invite anyone they know who’d benefit from this type of website.

I’m looking forward to making this a success with all of you.

Bring Back SPOON!

After my post about Episode #2 of Mystery’s VH1 show, I got a very nice email from none other than my boy SPOON.

He emailed me to take me up on my offer for help, but apparently he doesn’t really need it, judging by his MySpace page.  It looks like Spoon is discovering the "TV Method."  Apparently, all you need to do to get flooded with a wave of ready, willing, and waiting women is to get on TV, lol.  (Preferably VH1)

Spoon says he is now doing very well with the ladies, and is genuinely surprised by how popular he became on the show.  (I’m convinced it was his "I’m Chinese!" impression that did it for him, ha haa.)

Anyway, it appears there’s a petition going on online to get Spoon back in the game.  Check it out here.

So if Spoon is getting this much attention from the ladies, I’d like to see what the other guys who get more TV time are up to!

Mystery’s new reality show The Pick Up Artist premiers tonight on VH1 at 9:00 pm.  So get those TiVo’s ready and let’s support our favorite pick-up artist!

From what I’ve seen in the previews so far, the show looks amazing.  I’m really looking forward to it!

Hey everyone, I am really excited because this Thursday I am going to be releasing my Secret Files interview series.

A lot of you guys are probably familiar with David DeAngelo’s Interview Series where he sits down and picks the brains of various dating gurus.  Well, I didn’t want to do a re-hash of what David DeAngelo already offers (after all, how many times do you need to hear an interview with a different Dating Guru?), so I decided to sit down and interview real women about their experience with dating, relationships, and being picked up by guys.

And let me tell you, the results have been FASCINATING.

Seriously, I’ve learned a lot of incredible information from my interviews with women.  After listening to them, you really start to get an idea of how women think, and why they react the way they do to the things guys try on them.

2007 Pick Up Summit In Los Angeles

Okay, so I just did a conference call last night with a few speakers from the upcoming Pick Up Summit taking place here in LA this August.  I’m pretty excited about it because I don’t think there’s been a big gathering of pickup artists locally since 2005.

Okay, so there’s a few more details about Mystery’s VH1 show circulating around.  It looks like the show is going to be called "The Pick Up Artist,"  And it’s premiering August 8th on VH1.  It looks like they have 8 or 9 episodes done.

The Pickup Artist will features our own Mystery (of course) as a seduction guru, and co-stars Venusian Arts Co-Founder Matador as well as master instructor J-Dog.

In the eight-part series, they do what Venusian Arts does best: transform a bunch of "nice guys with likable, quirky personalities who have trouble asking women out"…

So there you go, that stuff is confirmed.  We now have a name, premise, and co-stars.  =)  I’ve never met Matador, but I know J-Dog very well, and I’m excited to see him involved in this.  J-Dog is a great guy.  Though he used to be almost entirely Speed-Seduction based, so I guess he’s made the full transition to Mystery Method.

Mystery’s New TV Show…

Okay, I’ve been getting a couple of emails from people about this, so I figured I’d blog a little bit to try and clear the air.

It’s no secret that pick-up artist Mystery has been trying to achieve super-stardom for years.  First he wanted to be the world’s greatest illusionist, now he wants to be a world-famous rock star.  But in the meantime, I guess he wants to be a world-famous cable TV star.

In 2006, Mystery shot a pilot episode for a TV show about him teaching poor guys unlucky in love how to be pickup artists.  The show is being produced and will air on VH1, home to such great shows as "Where Are They Now?" and "I Love The 80s."

Recently, VH1 has been pursuing more reality based shows, such as Flavor Of Love and Celebrity Fit Club.  I’m guessing that Mystery’s show may very well be in the same vein as these types of popular shows on the network.  From what I can understand, the show (which doesn’t yet seem to have a name) is a combination of a filmed bootcamp being taught by Mystery, and the show "Beauty and the Geek" (only without the beauties.)
