Still Recovering

Hey guys,
I’ve been getting slammed by emails asking about the Recap for the 4th episode of the Pick Up Artist (I honestly had no idea so many of you were looking forward to my dumb-ass recaps!). All I can say is… Chill.
I’m working on it.
I’m still recovering from the whirl-wind weekend of the PUA Summit, where I met a lot of great people and some new up-and-coming pick up artists. I was there for the ENTIRE weekend, and sat through 90% of the speakers, and gave a speech myself, so that exhausted me for Monday.
Tuesday I spent catching up on work. I also had to put the finishing touches on my upcoming teleconference call. (By the way, if you’d like to attend, there are still a few spots left. Click Here to check it out.)
I’m hoping I can get my Recap up sometime today, but… well, I’ve just bought a new Nintendo Wii, and that’s been taking up all my free time lately. (That damn thing is FUN.)
Anyway, I didn’t really much care for Episode 4, so I’m also not all that motivated to write about it, so it’s taking me a little longer than usual.
But don’t worry, it’ll be up soon.
Love,
Thundercat
If anyone cares about spoilers, cover your eyes, I guess.
I didn’t like Episode 4 either and has really lowered my expectations of how the season will continue. The kiss challenge was kind of entertaining, but the reward was too much of an advantage and pretty much guaranteed that Kosmo would win the field test. Pradeep gets an opener, Kosmo gets Mystery feeding him lines through an earpiece — what is the next guy gonna get, a free pass into the Final?
By far the worst part, though, was the elimination. It seemed to me that they only kept Pradeep on because they realized that without him the show has basically no conflict or really interesting people. It shattered any illusion that this show was focused on actually helping the guys, because Scott was at least sticking to the material and if they could just get him to loosen up he could have been at least decent. When Gay Joe is on the verge of making out with a chick and Pradeep is still opening by offering a whole set free alcohol, it’s time for him to go.
I completely agree with Technique that the only reason Pradeep was not eliminated is because he creates controversy on the show. However, this is a reality show designed for entertainment and I don’t think anyone should have high expectations.
Dude,
I love your commentaries. You tell it like it is. I wonder if all these openers will be played out.
