How To Be An Attractive Bald Man

Being a bald dude myself, I can totally relate to guys who are losing their hair, and all the insecurity that goes with it. Most guys think women don’t like bald guys, but this simply isn’t true. However, I ran across a post by a guy named Klutch who made some very good points about baldness.

Baldness is not what you think…
When you think of "bald" you typically think of your high school math teacher – short-sleeve button-up, glasses that look like something to mow the yard in, and the big CUL-DE-SAC on top of his head.
You think of Homer Simpson, the typical unattractive man.
Have you ever stopped and noticed that the typical "image" of an unattractive bald man has many other factors than just being BALD.
They are:
-Being fat, out of shape
-No fashion sense
-Poor grooming
-Having low self-esteemAll things you can control…
You never think of all the charasmatic, bad-asses who are bald. And you don’t have to see them in movies. Go out to any venue and see hot chicks with bald dudes all the time. It’s because those guys have other things about them that make them attractive:
-A good body, with good posture
-Despite baldness, exceptionally groomed
-A fashion sense that conveys power, authorityThe fact that you are losing your hair doesn’t mean you’ll be UGLY – if you adjust the way you groom yourself.
Every detail is meaningful – hair is just one of them. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have it. You can still have a great body, and be a HIGHLY attractive man. It’s ALL in the way you carry yourself.
I went into Starbucks yesterday morning, and saw this real Alpha looking guy in his 30′s, bald, shaved head. He was dressed sharp as hell – glistening watch, shining shoes, yet still the standard business dress. His shirt was fitted, and you could tell he was the type to lift some heavy weight. He had that small detail that immediately separated him from everyone else there. I knew he was a bad ass.
I took one look at him and thought, "This guy probably has NO TROUBLE getting laid."
I thought that before I even thought, "He’s bald."
He was a tough-looking guy. A guy who knew exactly what to do in any situation – real focused, etc.
Baldness doesn’t mean you can’t convey a powerful, dignified presence. Having hair has nothing to do how you can make people feel when they are around you. It has nothing to do with your posture – the most universally attractive physical quality. The quality of a leader.
When you first learn that you are losing it, you think the WORST. All those bad images (math teacher, homer) dominate your perception of yourself. That’s total bullshit.
IT MEANS NOTHING.
P.S. If you are JUST NOW losing it, you can get either Propecia or Proscar and keep your hair…and maybe regrow some! That’s what I’m doing
You gotta remember – baldness can be a STYLE. You can choose to shave your head and go with a certain look. You can grow facial hair to offset the baldness. And in addition to that, there are lots of different aspects to your personality and style that can overcome the fact that you’re balding or losing your hair.
I noticed my hairline receding when I was still in college. It was a scary thing, but once I accepted it and embraced it, it became part of my identity. And I have not had one girl I’ve been with ever complain that I shave my head.
So if you’re losing your hair, or if you’re already bald, just know that you can still be attractive.

Great article – with one exception I think it’s really important to point out; the recommendation to use Propecia or Proscar to prevent/reverse hairloss. Finasteride is the name of the drug and it is, in the words of Dr. Goldstein, the Director of the San Diego Sexual Health Clinic “a horrible drug that was never meant for use by young men” and in the words of another Doctor “a most destructive drug”
I was on a quarter tablet of Proscar per day for 1 year and it was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made – won’t go into the detail, but if you’re considering taking it, don’t, look at these: http://www.propeciasideeffects.com and http://www.propeciahelp.com. It’s a nightmare far worse than losing your hair. Merck, the drug company, don’t care if they ruin your life as long as they get your money. If you’re on the drug, get off it now. In Dr. Goldstein’s words, “every time you take it,you’re poisoning yourself – there should be NO weaning off period – just stop”. Hope this helps some guys avoid the pain of the ones who didn’t know any better when they took it and who were conned into taking something that damaged or destroyed their sex lives. They’ll try to prey on your fears – don’t fall for it.

im 25 bald and i feel i look better as a bald guy than with hair and sure got no problems with ladies actually i look like a ufc fighter because i have tatoos and shit which makes people think twice weather to fuck with me or being nice and i like it don’t waste your money on hair transplants and wigs women will spot you being faked and probably will turn you down

I a regular man, I started loosing my hair real late when I was around 35, before I had a complete head of hair and never paid attention to it. I used to look good with my hair. But 3 years ago I noticed that I have some thinning on both sides of my temple, so I still didn’t pay to much of attention to it, but I started worrying about it. Last year I just realized that definitively I was going bald on those areas, and then I felt depress. I went to seek help and even considered to have hair transplantation done and also hair piece, I didn’t want this happen to me, but here I am, I havent lost my hair at all, stiil have I believe 75% of all my hair, but isnt the same, so I am giving a serious thoght about to shave it off. Great article. I’m fairly young and I don’t know how my baldness will progress, but am losing hair atm and it is definitely getting me down. My #1 priority right now, however, is getting into shape, REAL good shape. I always thought that if a man is in really good shape and dresses well with nicely trimmed facial hair, he will look good, especially if he’s a good-looking guy to begin with. Quite inspiring.
It’s always about confidence in yourself. If you feel good about yourself you will attract others and want people to be around you. Given that I think it’s the image change that feels so dramatic and damning. It’s like you look on the mirror and don’t even recognize that person. I’m a recently balding guy at 26. Most my hair in front is thinned out/ gone and it’s just so strange. I do agree that you can offset with a tan, style, and working out but you need to accept who you are and be content with it. I’m just under 5’6 and I went through this my whole life being shorter and when I was 16 I realized it didn’t matter and things got good. It’s the exact same with balding. Just accept who you are and convey confidence even though it can be hard at times.
