Coming from a guy who has been into PU for 3 years and has been spinning sexy, soulful house music for 7 years, Gabriel Mack is spot on right!!  Always good to invite your gay friends and hottest girlfriends – they definitely liven up the party.

With the really hot girls, make sure you surround the party with an air of exclusivity by telling them, "you can only bring one or two friends – we are trying to keep this as posh as possible – and make sure they’re cute." In my experience, they’ve all responded very well to the fact that it’s going to be "POSH". Also, if you can afford it, pick up a handful of cheap martini glasses at Target…girls love to drink anything out of martini glasses, looks sexy, classy and posh.

I know that Absolut is offering bottles of premixed Cosmopolitan’s now…an uber-popular chick drink. So, just toss the bottle and display the drinks like you made them fresh :) Also, get a bottle of coconut rum and some vodka…maybe some good beer for the cool guys you invite.   Maybe want to hit Ikea or CB2 and pick up some cool, cheap lamps, candles and other trendy chotzskys to place around the pad. These are great to have whether or not you’re having a party. It gives the place a nice classy atmosphere where beautiful women feel very comfortable and very feminine. Nice.

Keep it goin’ fellas…

    NEVER, I repeat, NEVER throw a party at your house. Everyone always thinks they have it under control until a bunch of fucknuts you don’t know show up and you, because you threw the party, are in charge of throwing them out. If you insist on having a party have security at the door, two good friends who are big and intimidating will do. Otherwise, go to some other chumps party, steal his CD’s, and meet a hot chica who’s freaky and fuck her in the party thrower’s parent’s room. Do it bitches, its a celebration. But NEVER have a party at your house, its not worth it. If its a REAL party anyways. forget this online jibber jabber, anyone who’s thrown a party at their house has regretted it. And that is….. the truth (;

    And ummmmm…. what is ‘posh.’ Hmmmmmmmmm…. posh? Fuck posh. ITS a celebration bitches!!! (& Give em’ some ‘Zombie’ and say its Hypnotic, they’re into that, OR make jungle juice, that always gets the girls rowdy, OR ask them if David Bowie is hot?!?! That will work too. AND on the topic of this whole community thing, I have to give props to Mystery and Swinggcat, they’re the ones, in my opinion, who really know whats up. David D is good too but seems like more of a follower, and, RSD, ehhh, kinda weak… at least, business wise.

    Hi Thundi
    I know I should not post this question here. But what is with the new ebook of juggler?
    It was released last week and you have not written anything about it yet.

    ‘Posh’…something a little classier, much different from the frat house-college party atmosphere that so many of these girls are used to. Yeah, these parties are EASIER to throw but – in my experience – doing something different like this sets you apart from every other guy in the eyes of every female who attends the party. If these parties don’t seem like your style, that’s cool; as is the mantra in the PUA community, “Come across as congruent and you win – as long as you love what you’re doing, she will too”. For the PUA community, I’m a little different in how I work with women; I’m into more unique, artsy atmospheres and into having meaningful experiences with women (which does not include screwing them on the sink). Also, I’m 23 but prefer to date women in their 30′s so this atmosphere is FAR more conducive to that than a beer stained velour sofa and Jay-Z.

    But, if this IS your style of party, here’s a few more ideas that have worked for me:

    + If you or a close friend of yours is an artist, bring in some of the artwork. Again, gives the place a unique, nice atmosphere and any female appreciates a man with an artistic sense…even if it’s slight, or even feigned.

    + If you’re doing a cool pre-party cocktail thing, hit Trader Joe’s and get a 5-10 bottles of Australian or Chilean wine…it’s like $4 a bottle, you can’t lose!

    + If you don’t want/know a DJ, a good soundtrack is still a necessity. For more upbeat atmospheres, check out any of the Hed Kandi compilations, Masters At Work, Kaskade, Miguel Migs. If you’re doing a loungier vibe, go for Thievery Corporation, Jazzanova, Kruder + Dorfmeister, Remy Shand, Ananda Project. Solid.

    This is just one of a thousand ways to throw an awesome party – do your own thing…but its worked well for me!

    Call me ignorant, but what are chotzskys?

    Awesome tips man. Definately a great job. I just threw a cool apartment party with a couple of my friends and some ladies. Thievery Corporation worked wonders, and it helps when its a studio apartment, so everything is visible. Cool thing I did notice though, keep one room rather bright, and one dark, but keep the music the same in all rooms. It adds depth to the apartment / house. Also, if you want to add something peculiar, and make the ladies think you are a sauve bartender, make vodka daiquiris. It’s easy. Just go to the grocery store and pick up 2x Strawberry Puree bottles (3.99 each @ Vons), and some ice. Put about 6 cups of ice, 1/3 of the bottle of puree, and about 3-5 shots of vodka (depending on how strong you want it, you can add more, but 3 is pretty weak, so I make that minimum) in the blender, mix, and serve in those glasses from target. Everyone loves them. Anyways, keep up the good work.
