It may seem like common sense, but I’ve met enough of the guys in this community to know that a primer like this is desperately needed…

Paranoid writes:
I know that personal hygiene is something that is hammered into our brains right from childhood by our Momma. But as we start growing older, Momma stops giving giving sermons on hygiene because she thinks we are old enough to graduate into the next level of hygiene all by ourselves.I know many people who forget to wash their hands after a visit to the restroom just before lunch/dinner is served. It’s important to keep note of such trivial matter(trivial it is not, but to those who forget to wash their hands after taking a leak, trivial it is).So I hope to convey the importance of personal hygiene through this post.I have tried to make it as thorough as possible but I might have missed a point here and there so fill me in.

I am going to split up the post into three sections namely the head, the trunk and the legs.It will make it much easier to follow. So what are we waiting for?!?

HEAD:-

1). Hair

Most often than not, men love women with long hair.It shines, appears soft and has that ever-so-delightful fragrance about it.It appears to be flawless..no knots anywhere! And then she runs her hands through our hair. It’s rough, lacks shine and has no smell. How come?

First off, we need to respect our hair.Daily washing is required.I can hear voices clamor out "but I do shampoo it daily!".I said wash…not shampoo.Shampooing is good if done once in every 3 days.Too much of shampoo is harmful for the hair after all shampoo has chemicals too.If done in moderation, it will make your hair look awesome. So what I syggest is that you should shampoo your hair not more than twice or thrice a week. With cold water. The other days, just a thorough wash with water will suffice.Too much shampoo dehydrates your scalp and you lose your natural odor,if I may call it so, of the hair.Hence the shampoo 2/3 times a week advice.

Okay…now that shampooing is done. What next? Condition it.Conditioner to hair is like what moisturiser is to the skin.It is a vital part of the haircare regime.Paul Mitchell’s Daily Conditioner is a good bet but there are many other brands you could try out.Infact, the best way to go is to ask your barber/hairdresser what conditioner you should get.Afterall he knows your hair better than you know it.

After you are done conditioning, you may not feel the need to use a gel as you can style it as you want (atleast I have been able to do away with gels completely.)

2). Eyebrows

Many people tend to overlook their eyebrows.I know I know that it isnt that important when it comes to personal hygiene. But if you have really bushy eyebrows, you might want to trim it down a little.Other than that, leave it as it is.

3). Nose

Clean your nose atleast once every day.We breathe in dirt every second and most of the larger particles, get stuck in the nose. You may think this isnt important. But the next time you see a person throw back his head and laugh out loud, take a look at the nose.Infact, once my friend had a hearty laugh with my friends and is gf and some gook flew straight out of his nose.It was an embarassing moment to say the least.

Just like your eyebrows, make sure there isnt any prominent nose hair sticking out of your nose.If so,clip it off if you havent done it already.

4). Ears

Just like our nose, dirt tends to enter out ear.But unlike the nose, we cannot check our ear for goober inside it.So use earbuds to get the dirty wax out of your ear.Do this twice a week and you shall have no trouble when chicks whisper into your ear.

If you have heypertrichosis, you know what to do.

5). Mouth

The dirtiest place in our body.A haven for microorganisms.

Make sure you brush atleast twice a day.Make sure you reach every nook and corner when you brush.A casual brushing isn’t good enough.A floss and a tongue-scraper is a must.Use a mouthwash during the day to keep your breath minty fresh because you may never know when you might have to give a crash course in european culture.

6). Face in general

The most prominently exposed part of our body(when fully clothed). So you better make it representable.

Wash your face thrice a day preferably with warm water.Follow a good sckincare regime (www.acne.org) to prevent any major breakout of ance or to clear out acne which is already present.Follow that up with moisturizers. It is an essential part of the skincare regime.Moisturizers rehydrates your face and prevents dryness of skin.Apart from that, it also prevents an entry into your skin by creating a barrier for bacteria and airborne impurities.Apart from these tips for a relatively clear skin, exercise a lot and watch what you eat.

Facial hair looks look on some people and not-so-good on the others. So make a choice about what looks good on you. When shaving, use a good razor (Mach from Gillete) and shaving foam (Brut et al.).Always try to shave with the grain .It’s much easier and prevents a lot of unwanted snicks.Use warm water for shaving. After you are done with shaving, splash on some aftershave and you are good to go!

You can read the whole thread here.

Just a couple more notes on this subject…

1.  Clean out your ears.  Buy some Q-tips, and use them on your ears right after you shower so all that gunk is soft from the steam.  Clean them out about twice a week.

2.  Nose and ear hair.  Nothing is more unattractive than hair sticking out of these two places.  Go to your local drug store and invest in a nose hair clipper.  Use it to get all those hard to reach hairs.  You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes.

3.  Neck Hair.  Buy a nice hand mirror and take the time once a week to shave all that excess neck hair off.  This may not be a problem for some guys, but for others, it’s worth the effort.

4.  Back hair.  It may seem very "queer eye," but if you have excessive back hair, do yourself a favor and look up a local spa that offers waxing services, and USE IT!  Chest hair on a guy may be a turn on for girls, but back hair is a definite no-no.  Waxing isn’t that painful, and you’ll look better for it.  While you’re there, see if they can’t help you with your unibrow if you should have one.  The good thing about waxing is if you do it enough, the hair will stop growing back.

5.  Nails.  Buy some clippers at your local drug store and trim your fingernails and toenails about once every two weeks or so.  Be sure to file them so they’re smooth.

6.  Wash your nether-regions.  Invest in a sturdy washcloth and get down there where the sun don’t shine every time you shower.  This’ll go a long way to keeping that "not so freash" feeling at bay.

7.  Shower every day.  No excuse not to do this.  I’ve known some guys that go for weeks without washing.  That’s disgusting.  Be sure to shower AT LEAST once a day.

8.  Deoderant.  Buy a good deoderant and anti-perspirant, and USE IT!  Use it every day, especially after you shower.  You’ll be doing the world a favor.

9.  Cologne.  Get a good cologne to spritz you up with before you go out.  Make sure it’s anything other than Old Spice.

10.  Wash Behind Your Ears.  There is dirt that gets caked back there.  Be sure to scrub it off.

I’ll be adding a new category to the blog for this topic because I think it’s very much an important part of getting women.  If you don’t pay much attention to your personal hygene, make sure you change that way of thinking.  It’s very important that you put as much effort into looking good for women as women do for looking good for men.  It could mean the difference between getting a lay an not!

Since President Donald Trump won the election in November, businesses across the globe have been bracing for higher tariffs — a key Day One promise the president made.

But over a week into his presidency, Trump has yet to enact any new tariffs.
    блэкспрут
That could change, come 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday — the deadline Trump set for when he says he will slap 25% tariffs on all Mexican and Canadian goods and a 10% tariff on all Chinese goods.

The tariffs, he said, will be imposed as a way of punishing the three nations, which Trump claims are responsible for helping people enter the country illegally and supplying fentanyl consumed in the US.

Speaking to reporters from the Oval Office on Thursday, Trump said he meant business, especially with his tariff threats on Mexico and Canada. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also confirmed on Friday that Trump will levy the 10% tariff on China on Saturday.
    блэкспрут ссылка
Should these threats be believed? Yes and no, said Trump’s former Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

The threat of blanket tariffs is likely being overstated, Ross said in an interview with CNN. “There probably will be exclusions, because there are some goods that just are not made here, will not be made here, and therefore, there’s no particular point putting tariffs on.”

Ross, who was one of a handful of initial cabinet members in Trump’s first administration who kept their position for the entire four-year term, said he advocated for such exclusions when he advised Trump on tariff policies.

‘We don’t want the American Dream for our kids’: Why this couple left the US for Ecuador with their children four years ago
    адвокаты Запорожье
They’d never even visited Ecuador before, but Brittany and Blake Bowen, from the United States, decided to move to the South American country in 2021 to give their four children a completely different upbringing.

The Bowens, who were previously based in the state of Washington, have been living in Loja, a small city based in the southern section of the Andes Mountains, ever since, and say that they are in it for the long haul.

“We love this little country,” Brittany tells CNN Travel. “We hope that maybe we’ll have grandkids here one day.”
Before the move, the couple, who’ve been married for nearly 17 years, say that they were becoming increasingly concerned about the pressures placed on children by “modern American society” and wanted to try something new.

“We did not like what we’d seen develop over the course of the last couple decades…” adds Brittany, explaining that they felt that young people in the United States were becoming “more isolated.”

“We weren’t confident that our kids would enjoy the same sort of potential trajectory that previous generations had shared.

“And the more we considered things like that, the more we wondered, ‘Is that even what we want? Do we even want them to be on a fast track to the American Dream?”

The couple were also frustrated with living what they describe as the “standard American life.”

“Long commutes and never enough money,” says Blake. “All those usual problems… I was working in a career that was very time consuming, and took me away from home a lot. So we didn’t want that anymore.”

So why did they choose Ecuador as their “new home”?

President Donald Trump on Thursday blamed the Federal Aviation Administration’s “diversity push” in part for the plane collision that killed 67 people in Washington, DC. But DEI backers, including most top US companies, believe a push for diversity has been good for their businesses.

Trump did not cite any evidence for how efforts to hire more minorities, people with disabilities and other groups less represented in American workforces led to the crash, saying “it just could have been” and that he had “common sense.” But Trump criticized the FAA’s effort to recruit people with disabilities during Joe Biden’s administration, even though the FAA’s Aviation Safety Workforce Plan for the 2020-2029 period, issued under Trump’s first administration, promoted and supported “the hiring of people with disabilities and targeted disabilities.”
    bslp at
It’s not the first time opponents of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, or DEI, have said they can kill people. “DEI means people DIE,” Elon Musk said after the California wildfires, criticizing the Los Angeles Fire Department and city and state officials for their efforts to advance diversity in their workforces.

Americans nearing retirement and recent retirees said they were anxious and frustrated following a second day of market turmoil that hit their 401(k)s after President Donald Trump’s escalation of tariffs.

    kra11
As the impending tariffs shook the global economy Friday, people who were planning on their retirement accounts to carry them through their golden years said the economic chaos was hitting too close to home.
    kraken1 at
Some said they are pausing big-ticket purchases and reconsidering home renovations, while others said they fear their quality of life will be adversely affected by all the turmoil.

“I’m just kind of stunned, and with so much money in the market, we just sort of have to hope we have enough time to recover,” said Paula, 68, a former occupational health professional in New Jersey who retired three years ago.

Paula, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she feared retaliation for speaking out against Trump administration policies, said she was worried about what lies ahead.

“What we’ve been doing is trying to enjoy the time that we have, but you want to be able to make it last,” Paula said Friday. “I have no confidence here.”

Trump fulfilled his campaign promise this week to unleash sweeping tariffs, including on the United States’ largest trading partners, in a move that has sparked fears of a global trade war. The decision sent the stock market spinning. On Friday afternoon, the broad-based S&P 500 closed down 6%, the tech-heavy Nasdaq dropped 5.8%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell more than 2,200 points, or about 5.5%.

Guatemala has pledged a 40% increase in deportation flights carrying Guatemalans and migrants of other nationalities from the United States, President Bernardo Arevalo announced Wednesday during a press conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
    кракен сайт даркнет
Guatemala has also agreed to create a task force for border control and protection along the country’s eastern borders. The force, composed of members of the National Police and army, will be tasked with fighting “all forms of transnational crime,” Arevalo said.
    kra41 cc
Foreign nationals who arrive in Guatemala through deportation flights will be repatriated to their home countries, Arevalo said, adding that the US and Guatemala would continue to have talks on how the process would work and how the US would cooperate.
    kra39.cc
Arevalo also said that Rubio has voiced his support for developing infrastructure projects in the Central American nation. He added that his government would send a delegation to Washington in the coming weeks to negotiate deals for economic investments in Guatemala – which he said would incentivize Guatemalans to stay in their home country and not migrate to the US.

Arevalo said Guatemala has not had any discussions about receiving criminals from the US as El Salvador’s president has offered. He also insisted his country has not reached a “safe third country” agreement with the United States, which would require migrants who pass through Guatemala to apply for asylum there rather than continuing to the US.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the White House on Thursday could be his final chance to convince a receptive American president of his country’s war aims.
    megaweb9.at
The precise details of the “victory plan” Zelensky plans to present in separate meetings to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are unknown, having been closely held until they are presented to the American leaders.

But according to people briefed on its broad contours, the plan reflects the Ukrainian leader’s urgent appeals for more immediate help countering Russia’s invasion. Zelensky is also poised to push for long-term security guarantees that could withstand changes in American leadership ahead of what is widely expected to be a close presidential election between Harris and former President Donald Trump.

The plan, people familiar with it said, acts as Zelensky’s response to growing war weariness even among his staunchest of western allies. It will make the case that Ukraine can still win — and does not need to cede Russian-seized territory for the fighting to end — if enough assistance is rushed in.

That includes again asking permission to fire Western provided long-range weapons deeper into Russian territory, a line Biden once was loathe to cross but which he’s recently appeared more open to as he has come under growing pressure to relent.

Even if Biden decides to allow the long-range fires, it’s unclear whether the change in policy would be announced publicly.

Biden is usually apt to take his time making decisions about providing Ukraine new capabilities. But with November’s election potentially portending a major change in American approach to the war if Trump were to win, Ukrainian officials — and many American ones — believe there is little time to waste.

Trump has claimed he will be able to “settle” the war upon taking office and has suggested he’ll end US support for Kyiv’s war effort.

“Those cities are gone, they’re gone, and we continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refused to make a deal, Zelensky. There was no deal that he could have made that wouldn’t have been better than the situation you have right now. You have a country that has been obliterated, not possible to be rebuilt,” Trump said during a campaign speech in Mint Hill, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

Comments like those have lent new weight to Thursday’s Oval Office talks, according to American and European officials, who have described an imperative to surge assistance to Ukraine while Biden is still in office.

As part of Zelensky’s visit, the US is expected to announce a major new security package, thought it will likely delay the shipping of the equipment due to inventory shortages, CNN previously reported according to two US officials. On Wednesday, the US announced a package of $375 million.

The president previewed Zelensky’s visit to the White House a day beforehand, declaring on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly his administration was “determined to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs to prevail in fight for survival.”

“Tomorrow, I will announce a series of actions to accelerate support for Ukraine’s military – but we know Ukraine’s future victory is about more than what happens on the battlefield, it’s also about what Ukrainians do make the most of a free and independent future, which so many have sacrificed so much for,” he said.
