Back in the US of A

Okay, so I spent all day Saturday taking the arduous journey of getting back to America, and all day Sunday readjusting to the time change (it’s a 9 hour difference). So I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to update on the weekend like I said. I’m now caught up with all my email and trying to get back into the swing of things, so the Lair is now back to it’s regularly scheduled programming. I swear, some of the emails I got, you’d think I stopped posting altogether! Jeesh. =)

Just a few notes:

–I had a great time in Europe, and hope to go back there soon when I save up some money. There are so many places I’d like to visit, I don’t even know where to start! But I can tell you this much, I won’t be going anywhere that uses the Euro – WAY too expensive!

–Did anyone see this Sunday’s Sopranos? HOLY SHIT!

–For those of you looking to improve your storytelling abilities, go out and rent the movie “Big Fish.” I saw this on my flight back home and it was fantastic! It really shows you the importance of good storytelling. I might write an article about it soon.

–Mental note: women love Brittish Accents.

In Defense of the French…

I’d like to thank everyone who is giving me some great advice about picking up European girls. If I had the time and money, I’d go all over the place and visit all the countries out here. But I noticed there were a few people who were ragging on the Frenchies in the comments section. I can understand why, since I’ve never been a fan of the French Government for various reasons, but I would like to say that all the French people I’ve met thus far have been very pleasent and nice. I’ve met maybe one or two rude French people since I’ve been on vacation. For the most part, they are polite and accomodating, and the women have been extremely nice. In fact, a very good friend of mine (who happens to be an excellent PUA, btw) is French. Maybe I’m just in a good area where all the nice French people have migrated, I don’t know, but I haven’t had any experiences to back up the French bashing quite yet.

Are there anyFrench PUAs who read this site? I’d be interested in hearing what they have to say about Americans and how French women react to them.

Thundercat goes on vacation

Hey guys,

I wanted to let you know that I’m on vacation this week. I left last week, but right now is where the real fun starts for me. Anyway, if there’s a delay in answered emails or sporatic updates, that’s the reason why. I’m chilling in Europe at the moment and still getting used to the culture shock of things. I’ve already had a few adventures with women out here, which I’ll be sure to write about when I get back home and have more time.

In the interim, I’m gonna try to do my best to keep updates regular while I’m out and about.

Well, the pictures seemed to go over well. I know that one of the most common emails I got from guys regarding the site were “Do you have any pictures of these guys I can see?” Well, ask and ye shall recieve, gentlemen. I present to you the ringleader of the Real Social Dynamics team, Tyler Durden!

Originally, Tyler did not want his picture out on the internet, even though he’s going to be in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. But he was gracious enough to give me permission to post up not only a pic of him from the seminar, but personal pictures from his own collection on the site!

One note I’d like to make is that Sickboy asked that his face not be shown, so I have blurred him out. He lives a private life and does not want his face out there, so please respect his privacy.

Some more Major Mark news

So Thursday, April 29 marked the first time I met Major Mark Cunningham, and I gotta say, this dude is one cool customer. Very nice guy with a good sense of humor, and extremely smart. He’s not a total hypno zombie, which is nice, because talking about PUA and Hypnosis can get boring fast. It’s nice to see his interests are vast and varied.

Major Mark is also sporting a new look that’s quite different than the one you may see in a few of the products he’s in out there. He seems to have dropped some weight, and is going for the “hippy teacher” look, sporting a long pony tail, thick eyeglasses, and signature bushy mustache. It seems much more congruent than how he used to look.

Also, some big news for you Major Mark fans out there. I talked to Mark over dinner last night, and he informed me that after the DYD seminar on Saturday, he’s gotten permission from David DeAngelo to do an impromptu 4 hour seminar along with Steve Piccus, the famous hypnotherapist! What the two will be talking about, I don’t know for sure, though Mark mentioned something about showing guys how to change their belief systems to help make them more successful with women. I’m gonna see if I’ll be able to record some audio of it and post it to the Lair for you guys to check out. I can’t guarantee I’ll get permission, but I’ll sure try. =)

David X

At the first day of the DYD Masters seminar, I finally got to meet the elusive David X. For those of you who don’t know of him, David X is the hero of Cliff’s List, with Cliff being his business partner, we’ve heard of this legendary pick-up artist and his bold style of seduction for years on that lovable Canuk’s newsletter.

I must say, when I first met David, I was surprised, because he was NOTHING like what I expected him to be. Normally, when you think of “Gurus,” especially naturals who are extremely good with women, you think of tall, dark, hansom guys who look like movies stars. You know, someone girls could really fall for without much effort.

Major Mark Defects!!!!

Got some breaking news for all you gossip hounds out there. It seems that David DeAngelo has a special surprize guest attending his DYD LIVE seminar this weekend, and it’s none other than Major Mark Cunningham!!!!

Yes, this is yet another major (no pun intended… well, maybe a little =) coup for the DYD camp as they steal yet ANNOTHER former SS superstar to their side of the fence. Major Mark is now joining the ranks of Rick H, Orion, Dave Riker, Swinggcat, The Chetinator, and a variety of other SSers who have decided to strike out against their former master and join the ranks of his most bitter rival! I swear, I haven’t seen this much loyalty switching, backstabbing, counterplotting, and drama since the last time I watched WWE SMACKDOWN!

Not only will Major Mark be attending, but he will no doubt be one of the guest speakers this Sunday during the last day of the seminar. How’s that for exciting, huh? It’ll be interesting to see how his style of Hypnotic Seduction will fit into the DYD mold, though more likely he’ll talk mostly about Inner Game issues.

This is shaping up to be an interesting weekend…

Double Your Dating LIVE!

Well, zero hour is upon us gentlemen. Today is the kick-off of the massive 4 Day Long Double Your Dating Masters Seminar. PUAs from all over the world will be attending this event, not only to hear some of David DeAngelo’s latest material, but to also meet, learn from, and possibly even sarge with some of the best Pick-Up Artists in the world!

I will be at the seminar tomorrow for kick-off, and if I’m feeling really productive, I may write up a recap of the first day’s events on the Lair for Friday. If I’m feeling like my usual lazy self, however, you’ll have to wait until Monday for a complete recap of this weekend’s events.

I plan to see a few of you there. I also plan on trying to get some snapshots I can throw up on the blog here. We’ll see what happens.
