Okay, for a while now I’ve been talking about a BIG announcement on the blog, and here it is.
Today is a VERY important day for me, and I hope you’ll read this ENTIRE post to find out why.
See, I’ve been teaching men’s dating advice for about 4 years now. I’ve actually been INVOLVED in the scene even longer than that, going back to 1998.
During that time, I’ve tried to keep my life very private, sharing only my experiences with women through this blog and my email list. I always tried to make a distinction between the "seduction scene" and the "real world." I don’t want to be associated with "seducing women," because I think there are some very negative connotations that go along with that.
So in an effort to keep the women in my life from feeling like they were being "used" or "experimented on" for the purpose of this community, I tried to keep the two separate, and that has worked very well for me.
But lately, I noticed a few disturbing trends that have worried me a great deal…
1. New "shysters" are entering the seduction community.
Back in the day, the community was relatively small. There were only a handful of sites and businesses. They broke down to:
1. Fast Seduction
2. Cliff’s List
3. Mystery Method Workshops
4. Double Your Dating
5. Speed Seduction
6. The Don Juan Forums
7. This site
And that was pretty much it. As you can imagine, between 7 sites, it was easy to keep track of who was teaching what, and who was worth learning from.
Ever since Neil Strauss released his best-selling book The Game, new so-called "gurus" have been entering the field of men’s dating advice in droves.
99% of these guys don’t care about helping men. They’re just looking to make a quick buck. It’s like a ton of shysters perked up and said "Whoa, I can make money by teaching guys to pick up chicks??? Cool!!!"
Most of these morons have NO BUSINESS teaching men anything about how to improve their lives!
In my research, I have found some of these new "gurus" are actually virgins, sociopaths, narcissists, and in some cases, even previously convicted felons!
(Yikes!)
They offer NO PROOF that what they teach actually works. Most of the "legit" gurus who are new to the scene are simply regurgitating old Mystery Method doctrine and passing it off as their own, even though they themselves can’t perform it.
In short, these guys are "armchair seducers." They are content to make money teaching theory, without actually having to deliver real results.
2. There is too much skepticism about what I teach.
Lots of guys out there are in such a bad place mentally, they just don’t believe that anything can help them increase their success with girls.
They believe that they are being lied to, hookwinked, and mislead.
(And with the influx of guys like I just described above, I can’t blame them for thinking that way!)
They don’t think that what I have to teach them will actually work. And because of this, they are putting themselves at a SEVERE disadvantage!!!
3. Too many guys believe it’s all about how they look!
The biggest objection I get from guys is that only Good Looking dudes are able to get hot women.
They think if they are too:
- Old
- Fat
- Short
- Bald
- Ugly
- Whatever
they won’t be able to get the kind of women they want.
NOT TRUE.
I have decided to dispel this myth once and for all, PROVE to you my techniques work, and show you I’m the REAL DEAL.
I do this is a special, 60 minute video where I show you WHO I AM.
I’m a fat, bald, ugly guy. You’ll see how I look in the video.
But more importantly, you’ll see the type of GIRLS I’m able to get. (Yes, I reveal a number of women I have picked up in the video – for the first time ever.)
In short, I am giving you FULL DISCLOSURE.
I debated long and hard on whether or not to do this, and I decided it had to be done.
Look – to me, being honest and upfront is ALWAYS the best practice a teacher can partake in.
For a long time, I was worried going public with my image and results would in some way hamper my personal life.
(After all, girls are increasingly "Googling" guys they meet.)
I didn’t want the women I dated to feel like they were part of some type of "experiment."
So I tried to keep my personal life as quiet as possible.
But due to recent events, I felt it was more important to show my students that you DON’T need to be good looking to get women!
That these techniques CAN in fact work!
Now, not all the women I’m going to be showing you are girls you might find attractive.
That’s not the point. They’re girls I FOUND attractive, for whatever reason. My selection of women has nothing to do with what other people think. Its all about my personal tastes.
But I want to show you that it IS possible to get women despite being a fat, bald, ugly shlub like myself.

Thank you Joseph for putting yourself out there like that, i suffer a little bit from acne and i am facing upto the fact that i am losing my hair.
I have only recently found the seduction community and i was hung up on my flaws, i am not saying you have cured my insecurities but watching that video put a big stop sign in my head that i will refer to when i beat myself up.

Honestly I think it was brave of you to do what you did but at the same time it doesn’t really prove anything. For some reason I was expecting to see a video of an actual approach…
I’m a photographer and when I first started I was taking pictures in clubs, I have hundreds of pictures of girls kissing me, rubbing on me but it doesn’t mean anything, most of them I never ended up doing anything with them. So a picture doesn’t really prove anything.
I agree with you though, too many newcomers are polluting the scene and no one knows who and what to trust anymore. So again, whether what you say is true or not at least you had to balls to show yourself

I agree that its too easy to fake club pictures. But if I wanted to fake these pics, I’d have shown you tons of models. These are all real girls just like I showed in the video. I knew not everyone would find the girls super-hot, but like I said, each one had something that attracted me to them, and I tried to share that in the video.
I know you want to see actual video of me in action, and trust me – we have that on the way. =) For now, I just wanted to introduce myself and show you guys how I operate.
The fact is, I am not a good looking dude, I’m not super rich, I’m not famous – or anything like that.
But despite it all, I’m able to overcome these obstacles and get some amazing women. I’m not the BEST pick up artist out there, but I don’t rely on my looks, fame, riches, or gimmicks to get what I want. I’m able to work with what I got to get some pretty impressive results.
And if I can do it, anyone can do it. And if you’re better looking than me – maybe you can even get BETTER results.

Well I do have to hand it to you, you do seem to have some fashion sense and have perfected what you have to work with which is better than I can really say for me as I am still trying to develope my look.
I also think it’s a good move coming out and displaying yourself to these guys. It earns you some respect, something you desperately need at this point after some of your stunts. Props.
What’s the big deal? You’re not nearly as ugly as you made yourself out to be. You’re a pretty good looking dude who just happens have a bigger frame. You have a pretty handsome face under the extra weight. Lots of girls like bigger, cuddly guys anyways, so I don’t see how this is such a handicap.
Sorry to say, but your best friends Tyler and Ross could make stronger cases for being bad looking than yours…
Also, seriously man. As someone who has a pretty bad reputation among community members (not naive guys who found your stuff through Google AdWords) for being a spammy, hype-ish, opportunistic marketer who cribbed other people’s ideas into your e-books, you really shouldn’t be talking shit about new people on the scene. You’re hardly an angel.
Are these literally all the girls you’ve talked to in all these years gaming?
Like, I don’t really feel that I was presented with credible, quality evidence that you are actually living the high life surrounded by the hottest women in the world.
If you want some honest criticism, show more.
Anyone can post up a picture of themselves with a mildly attractive girl and say, “I had a relationship with this girl for 6 months.” Oh. And no pictures WHILE YOU WERE IN THE RELATIONSHIP to prove it?
If you are in fact capable, blow motherfuckers minds, or stay home.
I wasn’t too impressed. A few of the girls in the pre video were hotter than any of the girls in the pictures.

Bored Im actually going to go to bat for Thundercat here and say that his point is that he is not the stereotypical guy who has success with women but he was very open in the facts of his life, and it’s clear he is overachieving. His image and message may not be as sexy as the stories RSD or Mystery might tell you or lead you to believe but it’s clear the guy is being real here.
I know he is a con artist and people want to find reasons to feel he is bullshit still, but the fact is that like he said if he wanted to bullshit he would have done a better job of it. This wasn’t an ego based presentation at all.
Thundercat I know you roll with swinggcat. Swinggcats material is very influential to me and I hope you will address swinggcat and how successful he is out there in the clubs. A lot of the nightgame advice guys give out come off very superficial and dont tend to work for me unless I am in a certain mood. Swing is probably one of the very very few night game guru’s who’s advice has helped me to get laid. However his insistance on maintaining a “prize” frame over the woman has also cost me sex more times than I can count. It would be interesting to get your take on swing in general and what you think about his ways in a future podcast.

No, these aren’t all the girls I’ve ever talked to in all my years of gaming. Do you have pictures of every girl you’ve ever talked to?
I shared the pictures I felt comfortable sharing. I didn’t put out there all the girls I’ve been in relationships with, because in some cases I didn’t feel it was appropriate, and the last thing I want is internet ass holes making fun of girls I care for (let’s face it, no matter how hot a girl is, someone out there will always call her ugly just to be a jerk). I debated on weather or not to even put Brooke in there, but she was cool with it.
The video wasn’t meant to blow people’s minds or to brag. It was to show what an admittedly “ugly guy” can achieve despite his obstacles. Getting super-models or whatever in LA usually requires some modicum of fame or money – not that you can’t get them being a normal guy, but getting access to them usually requires those two things (at least in my experience.)
Am I the world’s best pick up artist? No. I never claimed that, nor have I ever wanted to be that. But what I’m doing now is working great for me. Can you go off and get “hotter” women than I can? Sure, if you go after them. I’ve been with some very attractive girls. If I can do it, surely you can too.

Once upon a time there were only creepy manipulative schools of thought souch as MM or SS, and now there are many different ones moving the body of knowledge into different directions. These new actors don’t acknowledge your status as the “ranker of gurus”, which makes them inherently bad.
