Breaking News: Real Social Dynamics Still Sucks Ass

So the other night, I’m minding my own business when I get an Instant Message from Donovan over at the Seduction Chronicles. He asks me to check out this post where someone other than me finally takes RSD to task.
Now, I know I get a lot of flack for ragging on the Real Social Dickweeds over there in the magical world of PUA-land where Tyler and his minions continue to drink the cool-aid about how they rule and everyone else sucks, so I was happy to see that I’m not the only one being vocal about it anymore.
(Just to be fair, nearly every major PUA I know talks shit about Tyler and crew, but they don’t do it publicly. That distinct pleasure seems to be reserved for yours truly.)
So my first reaction to this post was – it went too easy on these guys.
Now, most of what I’m going to write here is directed primarily at Tyler and Papa, since they pretty much are RSD. All the other guys – Jlaix, Christophe, and anyone else I don’t know, I have no real problem with. They are just the most recent brainwashed minions to fall under the Tyler spell. So this in no way is meant as a criticism of them.
Getting back to it – the purpose of Donovan’s post was to talk about the mythical "Blueprint" which is now 4 years in the making. It’s basically a critique of Tyler’s teachings, and that reflects as to why the Blueprint is never coming out.
Now, RSD just released "The Blueprint Exposed," or whatever the heck their next lame product is. But make no mistake about it – it’s just the same old recycled Tyler crap you’ve always gotten from him.
The biggest complaints I hear directed towards my criticisms of the RSD boys and their teachings is that I’m "jealous" or "petty" because they "won’t hang out with me" or that we had some type of falling out because Tyler didn’t want to write articles for me any more.
Make no mistake about it – that’s not true. I used to consider these guys friends, and I kept quiet about my concerns with Tyler and crew for a long time after that relationship deteriorated (this happened around the time the boys were all ganging up against Mystery in Project Hollywood).
The thing that made me go public with my criticism of RSD was the deluge I got from people who took their workshops and felt they got scammed. Before long, I was getting too many of these emails and bad reviews to ignore.
Then came the evidence that RSD was putting inexperienced instructors into the field to teach paying customers stuff they could not even do themselves.
Finally, there was the "Deep Throat" who sent me private messages from RSD’s instructor’s message board specifically outlining how they planned to trick workshop students into thinking they improved in their workshops when really it was just a trick for inexperienced instructors to make the poor student feel good without having to actually deliver results (and therefor not deliver a refund).
All that combined, I felt the need to speak out, because my personal experiences with these guys has never been anything but bad. Papa is a sociopathic liar, and so is Tyler – Tyler is just more charismatic and better at hiding it than Papa is. And neither of them really care about anyone other than themselves – so you can add a healthy dash of narcissism in there for good measure.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: "Thundercat, what does this have to do with pickup? Why are you hating? Negativity sucks. Blah, blah, blah."
Well, this actually has a LOT to do with pick up, since these are guys that students look up to and follow. These are also guys who have the power to REALLY mess people up.
The reason I’m writing about this is really because the focus on Donovan’s post was about the teachings of RSD. Well, let me say this right now:
THE TEACHINGS WORK.
That is how they are able to stay in business. If you follow the
instructions that these guys lay out for you, chances are you will get
results.
Now, you may feel shocked that I say this, but it’s true. The
teachings are good! However, the reason they are good is because – THEY DID NOT COME UP WITH THEM.
Tyler is what you get when you breed a leech with a sponge. No one
freakin’ cared who Tyler was until he started hanging out with
Mystery. Then, all of a sudden, Tyler starts posting about his "super
uber crazy skillz" on mASF – which is all stuff he learned from
Mystery, but Mystery never bothered to post publicly about, and he starts getting props.
Then, Tyler starts learning Speed Seduction. Now he’s down with
manipulation and mind control in addition to routines and peacocking. Okay, cool.
After that, he starts teaching his own workshops and gets the whole
"hero worship" thing going. (Another thing he got from Mystery)
Then, he moves into Project Hollywood and studies Neil Stauss’ every
move. And for those of you who pay attention, this is when RSD was in
their hey-day.
He then starts taking things from gifted co-horts of his, Like
PlayboyLA, Sickboy, and Twenty-Six, and passing them off as his own.
Keep in mind, this is all taking place in the 2004-2005 time frame.
Why is this relevant?
Simple – because THIS is the time when Tyler announces he is writing THE BLUEPRINT. The supposed end-all-be-all of pick up.
And then something incredible happens…
EVERYONE DITCHES TYLER!!!
Mystery excommunicates him. Ross refuses to hang with him. Style
thinks he’s a prick and a phony. Even the people who were closest to
him – Playboy, Sickboy, and Twenty-Six – all see he’s a sociopath and
move as far away from him as they can get.
People stop posting their ideas on Mystery’s Lounge because Tyler keeps ripping them off and passing them off as his own.
Then, the cracks in their organization begin to surface, the bad reviews start to come out, and what do they do?
THEY CUT THEMSELVES OFF!
They stop participating in the community. They stop posting on mASF.
They only do stuff on their website, their blog, and their newsletters
because that’s the only way they can manipulate what gets out about
them.
But something else happened when they retreated into RSD-land…
TYLER RAN OUT OF PEOPLE TO STEAL FROM.
Notice how little innovation has come from TD since the actual,
TALENTED gurus, such as Mystery, Style, and Playboy, stopped hanging
out with him?
Trust me: This is not a coincidence.
Tyler has always been very good at co-opting other people’s ideas and
making them seem like his own brilliance. But Tyler is just a
charismatic snake-oil salesman. He is repackaging stuff that better
PUAs teach, and passing it off as his own.
Even newer products like "Transformations" is a rip off of the
behavioral stuff Dr. Paul has been pioneering. And don’t think a lot
of TD’s latest offerings haven’t been poor-man versions of stuff Brad P
came up with.
Like I said – their teachings work – but not because of them. In fact, it is DESPITE them that they work!
All RSD is, is an organization designed to do 2 things…
1. Make money
2. Inspire mindless loyalty in their students.
Oddly enough – this business model is even ripped off from Ross
Jeffries, who, for once, is actually RIGHT when he says someone stole
something from him!
These guys DO NOT CARE about students. Their goal – with their
products AND their workshops – is to fool students into feeling good
enough that they won’t ask for their money back, without having to
deliver any actual results.
And this is the reason why the actual Blueprint will never be released
- because Tyler has run out of the best people to steal from, so he has
a hard time writing this stuff down because he can’t analyze and break
down what better PUAs are doing before they popularize their techniques
first.
All you’re going to see from Tyler and crew from here on out is the following:
1. Products based on seminars where they give away 0% content but make you feel really good for watching it.
2. Workshops designed to excite people without evoking any real change or results.
3. Fun videos that display Tyler’s charismatic personality to make you
like him, without ever really showing you how freakin’ sociopathic he
is.
4. Long, rambling posts and field reports that are either completely made up, or completely ripped off from someone else.
Trust me – if it wasn’t for the fact that they somehow weaseled their
way into almost all of David D’s products, these guys would have been
out of business long ago, because they aren’t innovators. They are not
originators. They are rip-off artists and fakes. (Again, this is
aimed at Tyler and Papa, not others in the RSD crew. They may be just
as bad as Tyler, but history shows that the people TD and Papa surround
themselves with are actually much more talented than they are.)
So before people go off half-cocked and tell me I’m a loser who’s just
spouting negativity for no good reason, I think you guys have to look
long and hard at how these guys and their past actions have played out.
1. They’ve stopped innovation because all the innovators have stopped hanging out with them.
2. Everyone who used to like them now hates them and wants nothing to do with them.
3. They have a business model based around self-gain and deception.
4. They isolate themselves because they have a narcissistic need to manipulate and control all information about them (something the Nazi government was very good at, as well).
5. They threaten to sue anyone who actually dares to speak ill of them and expose the truth.
If there is anyone out there reading this who has signed up for an RSD
product or workshop, or is thinking about it – trust me, you would be
better off with almost ANY other seduction course or guru out there,
with the exception of Ross Jeffries.
In my humble opinion, there are two companies you should never, ever, EVER buy or learn anything from, and they are:
1. Real Social Dynamics
2. Speed Seduction

The blueprint will never be released? It has been released. I have followed Tylers posts forever and this blueprint stuff is fresh and new. What in the world are you talking about dude? It’s so geeky I cant even bother to insult you for it.

My qualified view is that Tyler Durden is at another level of pick up Zen entirely.
RSD really have moved away from relying on canned material to teaching men to becoming at core,confident, dominant, charismatic, sexual genuinely funny man who appreciate living life in the moment whilst not caring what other people think.
Ah – you cry plagiarism? This is a false charge.
In their extensive writings, RSD source all of their material very clearly. To accuse them of theft and deception is not only unfair but incorrect.
RSD constantly encourage people to read Eckhart Tolle,who they cite, and Tolle has now become a profound influence on the wider pua community due to the constant praised heaped upon him by Tyler & Co.
Of course, Tolles teachings have a profound and postive effect on anyone who follows them- be that a PUA or otherwise.

There is nothing wrong with greasing the wheels of capitalism and making money (aside from fuelling global warming and widening the chasm between the first & third world) and the persuit of profit is what drives the global economy.

You mention Style.RJ sold out – so has David D, Mystery and every other mediocre aspiring pua who is chasing the easy dollar with the same drive as a junkie seeking a shot of heroin.
As much as I like and admire Neil Strauss- he is also a shrewd business man too with his (excellent)books and the heavily promotedFinal 5, The Annihilation Method , the 505 at SLA, the SLA bootcamps and so on.
However, if you are going to condemn RSD for lack of originality in their products, charge them with plagarism,accuse them of being money orientated and so on, then surely you must query spending 4 grand on the much vaunted AM only to learn the cube and the best friends test!
The community by its nature is the “Wisdom of the Crowds”, the aggregation of information of the many and no PUA company will deny this.
It is faulty logic to attack RSD and then champion Style on the basis that one fradulently plagarises everything and the other doesn’t.
You are on very shaky ground here…….
I have HUGE respect for Tyler and RSD.
Perhaps you are right in one respect, that they are fostering a cultish attitude.
In light of the vitriol directed at them, you can understand why they would want to eschew the community?
Just read TD’s archive – an eloquent pua, a philosopher and a sociologist rolled into one. The guy has an amazing capacity to write, to educate and crucially, to motivate.
I genuinely believe that stuff we take for granted in the community today is a result of Mystery, Style and TD laboriously field testing everything and then writing lucid, eloquent in-depth field reports. TD really was at the cutting edge and it is insane to deny this.
I happen to believe that Tyler Durden’s writings on attraction and social dynamics will be studied at an academic level in time.
He seems to be one of the few soi-disant gurus who actually understands and comprehends fully the sum total of human experience.
I think you post is unfair and intellectually flawed as you r “logic” (and I use the term loosely) is applied selectively.
Condemn one or condemn all.
I think emotion is clouding your judgment, which is a pity as you too are a good writer.
Time to move on Thundy. Life is too short to have such negativity. You are better than this.

I really don’t see how they’re not participating any less than any of the other marketers and it seems to me with TD’s content focused blog, their constant posting on their message board at RSDNation.com, the fact that the Blueprint is probably not going to cost $3700 like The Annihilation Method, or $7000 for the Mind of Mystery… it seems to me that they’re participating a whole shit load.
RSD is helping people. They bring new stuff to the table and do it their own way. Sorry if they’re not a Mystery Method clone in teachings and community outreach. As long as they’re helping people, let вЂem do it their own way even if Jeffy is asking TD questions. Like Thundercat isn’t simply sucking dick when he’s interviewing “the gurus.””

Before you disregard any post that is positive towards Tyler and RSD, I hope you can just for a moment just drop any negative feelings you have towards Ross Jeffries and RSD and just look towards them with a non judgemental mind. They may be idiots but even criminals deserve a few chances.

But that wont even matter to you because the person you want to improve is you. That is the only person you want to concentrate on.
All of us can improve a bit everyday, and I know im not your personal friend but I’m sure you remember that I am a reader from years ago, and that I only have good intentions when I say who cares about them, the only important people are ourselves and the sooner we can let the small stuff slide, and its all small stuff:), the easier it is for our mind to stop running on a negative autopilot and we can start putting our little focus on things that really matter.

Sean Messenger Btw is one of my favourite coaches in this community and he has always seemed like a genuine guy and a strong desire to do good and a passion for teaching. And although i realize a lot of what eveything newbies read in this community is contradictory or it may be easy to get sucked into a drama of guru VS guru, you must understand that almost all these methods do work, and that the most important thing is not whether what you learn will work for you, but how all these systems will affect your being and your psychology overall, and you must take great care into not letting something as simple as this become something negative in your life, because then there is no one to blame but yourself.

“I met Tyler when I took DYD’s Deep Inner Game Seminar in Vegas (as an eager-beaver student) years ago.
He struck me as smart, and odd, and defensive. So did most of the other pickup gurus there (with some notable exceptions like Hypnotica and Big Will).
I ran the same streets and same bars of SF as Jeffy when I was head coach at PU101. He didn’t impress me as someone I’d want to hang out with.
I read The Game. Then I saw The Incredibles, and developed this theory that Syndrome was actually based on TD.

But then one of my coaches at LVO3 turned me on to Tyler’s blog in 2007, and I was blown away.
I had to re-think my own attitudes. I had to check my own bullshit. Was it possible I was wrong and short-sighted, and mistook small sample size and personal agendas for objective reality? Possibly…
I don’t know jack shit about their business practices. But I do agree with Sinn that if you teach enough workshops, you will get some seriously embittered and delusional guys as students, and they can give you a bad rep in a hurry. Hell, I once counted out $2500 in cash to a student on a Sunday when he came to me and complained he didn’t get enough “personal attention,” after we had just been out with him till 4 AM following a 12-hour classroom day.
When you teach, you don’t want money from people who aren’t learning.
I respect RSD for their skills and their dedication. This isn’t an easy way to make a living. It’s a godddamn cutthroat business that will eat up all your time, and no, it’s not a rock-star lifestyle. It’s a lot of hotel rooms, and laptops and bad coffee, and then if you get on a hot streak, skanky girls drunk enough at the bar to come back with you to your Days Inn room, and hopefully leave before full daylight so you never have to see them again.
It’s fucking “Turn the Page.”
TD has been in this game for real for longer than almost anyone else, and had the balls to change everything. He’s published more than I could in 10 years of rambling, and while he does write too long and convoluted for my simple caveman taste, you can’t deny he puts real thought into it and gives great value.
They bring hope to guys who have no hope. They create products that the people who have the most need can buy (and you can hold me to this… if I ever create a $7000 DVD, please shoot me in the public square like Ceacescau).
I don’t know how they teach now. I think it’s more difficult to start with routines and tricks and transition to natural, instinctive, emotion-centered game.
But I think they can do it. I saw Jeffy talk at Cliffslist two years ago, and saw a different man. I saw a MAN.
We all begin this journey as boys, hoping the tribe will lead us into the ways of men. Perhaps RSD can be one of those tribal leaders.

I have to say.. I have watched Neil Strauss’ Annihilation Method which I had to lend from a distant friend because I could not afford to purchase, and I have watched RSD’s products as well.
Comparing them, with RSD you get 100 time the value for exactly 1/10th the price.
Other than that, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we’d rather see posts with content, or even criticism about content, rather than posts about PUA politics.

You posted along with the posts of the instructors a copy of the Blueprint “Beta”, anyone that readed that book saw that no one ever released a product that could explain it as Tyler was doing

What you did for this community? Your book is a shit, your Renegade Rapport is a lie and The Annihilation Method (U$$ 4000) was a joke ( i downloaded for free, but was an amazing lost of time).
I hate all the community ( with the exception of Johnny Soporno and Sean Messenger who are giving value without charging for it)
But i have to admit, Tyler is probably the person that understands more about pickup in the world from a theoric level.
Being a person who is in the community for sometime and someone who helps guys with AA and tell them my theory (i wont go commerical, just helping out for free in NYC area), i find that some RSD guys (who are early 20′s) are basicaly brain washed by RSD. Granted their game is tight, imean tight! Yet they offer no substance beyond PU. I personally would not hang aorund those guys outside of PU because their BL, vocabulary, confidence, and persona doesnt fit mines or my inner circle, and they come off as ‘fake’ because of RSD products. Granted i never liked RSD and a little biased, i come from a long line of naturals while studying SS/NLP and being a leader of clubs while in college. RSD to me now seems like they packaged all of self-help mateirals that has been in industry at your local bookstore and just packaged it with high energy classroom lecture hall setting that is geared for PU. Personally when i talk to the guy that is from RSD and is a youngster he comes off as a rip off and doesnt offer anything besides PU and trying to spew self-help stuff to me, since i am an awesome inner game guy (i dont like to call it inner game, ill write an artical in teh future). And then he decided to become a businessman. So he’s all over Mystery and Style like a spandex raincoat, learning not only their skills but their business…so he can do it himself. Then disses his gracious mentors big time.
Meanwhile he’s sarging the board at mASF while taking the best info for himself (and there’s nothing wrong with that – until you try and sell it without credit!) and even reposting stuff others had previously posted as his own incredible revelations.
And his crew (just as they are on THIS VERY PAGE!) would respond to every criticism with “you’re just jealous – you should read his stuff, it will help you.” Duh! It helped me back when someone else originally wrote it!
At that point I left mASF (partly tired of the bickering, which I know is the nature of public forums, and partly because I shacked up with my one-itis and didn’t really need that particular community anymore). I’ve still kept in the loop over the years, though, and incorporate elements of game (not just Game) into my ongoing life. Funny to continually see Tyler called out over the years, just as he was then.
Anyway, I sincerely hope that as Jeffy implies, he’s starting to give props where props are actually due, not burning bridges or trying to Beta-ize everyone who’s not in his immediate crew, and has learned that women can be valuable for more than validation or making some money.
I have my doubts though.
