Study Shows: Men With Long Legs Are More Attractive

I recently came across an article that discusses a study about how both men AND women view long legs as attractive. Check out this blurb:
Men are not alone in finding the leggier form more attractive. Women
consider longer-legged men more physically appealing than their
stumpier counterparts, a study has found.Research involving
more than 200 men and women revealed that people whose legs are 5%
longer than average are considered the most attractive, regardless of
their gender.Studies into sexual attraction have already shown
that taller people are generally perceived as being more physically
appealing to the opposite sex, but until now little was known about the
effect a person’s leg length had on their overall attractiveness.

A few thoughts about this article…
I know from a personal standpoint that I don’t like tall girls. If a girl is taller than me, that makes it a little difficult from a psychological standpoint to justify an attraction. That said, I’m a pretty tall guy myself (6’1), but I tend to prefer the tiny girls to the tall leggy girls.
I think the big thing one could take from this article is that short guys are justified in their insecurity about their height. However – I would not agree with this.
Yes, women in general tend to prefer to be with guys who are taller than them. In fact, you often hear girls say they want guys who they can "wear high heels" with.
But it’s time to recall David DeAngelo’s mantra…
"Attraction is not a choice."
That means we can’t control who or what we find attractive. So though this study shows long legs might be beneficial to attraction, I would say that this is a VISUAL feature, and as we all know, real attraction is really about pulling on the emotional strings of women, as opposed to what you look like.
In this study, people were showed digital pictures and asked to rank them. However, attraction is different when it comes to physical interaction as opposed to a purely visual ranking based on a PHOTO.
So short guys – have no fear. If you know how to properly build attraction, it doesn’t matter how tall you are.

I don’t know if real attraction is about emotional…attraction is physical AND emotional…BOTH can play a HUGE role.
Example: Niel is short. He makes up for it with GREAT game. I know few (none) other as short/shorter that are really good (not saying PUA God good…just really good…hookups, girlfriends, etc)
I like short guys (shorter than me)and I am 5’8″. I’m just around the height that I can safely choose between the many usually shorter guys and much taller men.
I generally prefer long legs, but really long legs on a guy who is like 6’1″ is not that attractive to me. I like shorter guys than 6’1″ and with average leg length and upper body muscular build. This is attractive to me, and I don’t mind if he’s 5’6″. As long as he looks healthy!
