Has anyone ever been rejected from a Mystery seminar because they didn’t qualify?
A guy with $2,250 plus travel to blow in a weekend shouldn’t have any difficulty getting laid, nor should his game be even slightly difficult to fix.

I used to run a dot com and was earning 10x what I am now, yet couldn’t get laid cept with average (5/10) girls. I don’t think money has ANYTHING to do with it. Now I’m living in my parents basement (which is a dump btw) and get laid whenever I like with 7+ girls. That was mainly thanks to the DYD Advanced Series, though I’ve dabbled in a few other PUA’s like Biship, these forums, etc.

Well I think Mystery just screens for guys who can approach, as he doesn’t have the TECHNOLOGY/SKILLS to get guys over thier fear of approaching (although his reason is that its hard wired in and will NEVER go away…) Unlike mostly every badboy student who says they have lost the fear of approaching, hell even Ross gets most guys over thier fear. I think the guys who are still scared approaching have so many different theories in their mind that it just fucks them up i.e – HOW CAN I APPROACH DIRECT WHEN I READ ELSEWHERE THEY WILL BLOW OFF A DIRECT APPROACH?! SHOULD I TELL HER SHES HOT BUT THATS SUPPLICATING?!? I CANT USE THIS APPROACH ON A GROUP, AND LONEWOLVES ARE FOOLS MATE FOR LOSERS! etc etc
Also I think the best way of getting over your approach fear is to get the “Bander Effect” dvd’s, if possible, the first one on confidence (Im sure its available online)

Are these guys getting a full house for their seminars, or are they pricing themselves out of the market?
I can see BB selling out his seminars in Canada, as it is a once a year type thing, but Mystery holds WS/BC’s every week almost here in N. America.
Many of these guys went the RJ/DYD route and gotten greedy.
My prediction is that they will price themselves out of the market, as I cannot see demand meeting supply.
These guys are going to have to get real creative in their future marketing.
BTW, it seems all these guys Fidentia, Pickup 101, Mystery, DYD, BB, RSD all raised their prices by a large sum simutaneously.

Hell, I paid that much for my “Daily Driver” 2 years ago that I’ve since put 27,000 trouble free miles on it.
Pickup 101 guys were charging $800.00 last year, and are now charging $1375.00
I don’t mind paying for a seminar and getting my money’s worth, but I refuse to overpay for a product or service, especially when it supports someones high-livin life style.
If they can get that kind of money, more power to them though, as I’m sure that there are plenty of AFC’s willing to shell out that kind of coin to learn routines and opinion openers.
Maybe the extra money pays for the shills out in the field that will pretend to be attracted to you when you run the M3 model on them.
Maybe it even includes “the full monty”
Now that would be marketing genius that even Ross or DD would envy.
dudes….such prices motivate me as a beginner to work on myself by MYSELF…i think the PUA’s like mystery are playing with fire, and will lose a lot.

The only way is to take one seduction method at a time and work with it fully, ignoring all other advice elsewhere. Then once you have that mastered move onto another seduction method and so on. This means using only the openers they suggest, the body language, the conversation topics etc etc.
My recommended learning structure would be:
-Gunwitch Method (so that you learn how to be relaxed and have normal convos with girls)
-TokyoPUA/Maniac High Style Methods (structuring your routines and seduction sequence)
-Speed Seduction BHSC (as some of it does work, regardless of what others say)
-Badboy Style (direct openers and his rapport outline)
Then after you’ve mastered these and are getting laid fairly consistantly you may want to move on to working groups and indirect, though to be honest unless you’re living in LA you’ll be better off with direct.
I think its poor to compare this to Bruce Lees Jeet Kune Do, as pretty much every other pua has compared thier seduction method to it (although I think Mystery compared his to Krav Maga – haha the worst self defence method ever) But Jeet Kune Do still had the solid fountations of Wing Chun, so in other words a good solid foundation would be gunwitch method (with persistance and sexual state) and then lay other methods above that.
Its steep, but its called consulting. To put it in perspective, I am 24 and work for a small firm, and people pay more for my time than they do for Mystery. Its industry standard, its not that I am that amazingly good. Its just the way it is. Given the level of expertise of some of these folks and the expenses of running their businesses, its not that bad of a deal. Its a lot for an individual to come up with as compared to a corporation, but the hourly rate is not that bad if you think about it.
Are there any websites that rate and review the various methods? It would be cool if someone impartial started such a website.
The free market can decide the price.
If these guys can sell out their seminars at $2,000 per head, or whatever, more power to them.
But I sure as hell won’t drop that kind of coin.

Yea really fellas, If you’re gonna spend $1850 to $2250 on having someone tell you how he gets laid (and actually giving him more money to help him thus) then maybe you’de be better off just using that dough to go get some nice clothes (fresh d’ gear) and and go to some nice clubs away from home where no one knows you so you can feel comfortable doing approach after approach after approach until something clicks, which it most certainly will eventually.
As far as Jeet Kune Do goes, whoever says their method is similar to it is sadly mistaken for as anyone whos familiar with the concept knows; Jeet Kune Do is a combination of ALL styles or otherwise NO Style. In my opinion thats the best way to look at all this seduction stuff too. Read it all and listen to as much as you can and decide for yourself. NO one method holds the answer. Most likely they all do because some aspects may work well for some and other aspects may work well for others.
18 large isn’t going to get you that magic pill but hey, if people wanna pay it, Great!!!

And if you honestly don’t have $2,000 to attend a seminar and truly want to learn to be a PUA you’re going to have to do it the old fashioned way: Trial and Error. Either way, you’ll come out on top. Bitching and moaning like a bunch of menstrating women will get you nowhere.

Well as thats over 3x more expensive than a typical RSD seminar of $600, I hope the content and teaching is 3x better aswell.

How about they’re trying to retain popularity with the people who don’t want to pay all that money even though they withhold their “best stuff” on the grounds that they need to earn a living charging to teach it? Why should the rest of us give a shit about how well they teach men who pay them two grand when they go to sites that promise FREE INFORMATION? How good is the free information if the websites which provide it are pushing all this paid stuff down your throats? Is this a free community or an infomercial?
How much does Thundercat get when one of his members signs up for these workshops? Mystery’s standard affiliate fee is $275.00, isn’t it? That’s a week’s pay after taxes for some working stiffs just for talking a guy into joining some other guy’s seminar.

These boards were supposed to cover the trial-and-error part, but how long does any discussion of trials or errors last before the commercial vultures fly in saying they should pay someone to learn?
Why is it that so many in this community who now make livings teaching began their participation by bashing commercialism?

On a side note, these people who pay 2k for all this advice with be better off going to a Tony Robbins seminar where their beliefs can be changed. Or something of that nature, I mean its all internal first. Techniques/routines come second.
That is why people who lose body fat gain it all back because they have not changed their belief system. They gain “temporary” success by going on a quick diet/exercise program but never really see themselves as this healthy, passionate, vibrate person.

You know maybe he’s a bit upset because he figured the same way I did, that this community had alot of valid information, but now that the money mongering has begun the “hope” that he had when he found a “FREE” community of people GENUINELY interested in a subject; has sort of died away. Then get the social proof and a following and start a seminar and make $$ from guys who want ass and then go around and pick up girls because pretty much the only pick up line that you need at that point is, “Hey I teach guys seduction and get paid for it.” I told a girl that (for real) the other day and her and her 2 friends were ON immediately and then no matter what I said they were like WOW, How Did you know That!! Giggle giggle.

Why does it matter how much someone makes off of what they do? It is legal and no one is forcing guys to cough up the money for the seminars/bootcamps. Obviously guys that are paying this money have hit a dead end and they are trying to find a way out. If you do your research and decide a Mystery, RSD or whatever bootcamp is the answer, so be it.
I took a Mystery SEMINAR only, which was significantly cheaper than the whole bootcamp. Prior to the seminar I had read a lot of seduction shit and spent a lot of money on ebooks, CDs, and DVDs. I felt that I had great inner game, but I could not approach. I am a young, goodlooking guy with my own house and guess what, it doesn’t matter! If you don’t know what you’re doing, all the money in the world won’t help. Sure you might pay for some chicks company, but what kind of pathetic life is that?
After the first day of Mystery’s seminar I approached 10 sets while I was at a club by MYSELF. That seminar changed my life and was worth every single penny. It not only completely changed my ability to attract women but it has made me think differently about my entire life.
Does that mean everyone needs to go through a bootcamp to have success? Hell no. But for those that do, I suggest doing your research on the bootcamp that is best for you and invest the money. You’re not just giving some guy your money to fund his extravagant lifestyle, you’re making an investment that will pay off for the rest of your life.
