Hi all,
Sorry about the lack of posts lately, my trip to Europe has been quite the whirlwind, and since I don’t own a laptop, I have to find the occasional internet cafe to access the web, and since I’m paying for my time online, I can’t surf the web looking for great posts to comment on as much as I would like.
This will be my second week out here and I’m running on maybe three hours of sleep and little-to-no money (damn the Euro exchange rate!!!), but I am having a very good time running around to all the different nightclubs and meeting women of numerous nationalities. I do hope to actually learn another language so that the next time I come out here, I can actually communicate with most people (surprisingly, there are a lot who don’t know English). Honestly, most of my pick-ups recently have been borderline pantomime due to the language barrier.
European women are an interesting bunch, though. Quite different from the ones we got back in America. I didn’t notice it as much last time I was out here, but since I’ve been hitting the scene like a hungry wolf looking for sheep, the differences have become quite apparent to me. If there are any Europeans out there reading this, I’d like to hear your thoughts on my musings…
First off, I do notice a big difference in the gender roles here in Europe as opposed to America. Women’s Lib never seems to have migrated across the Atlantic, so many of the women I meet are quite docile/subservient. If you’re aggressive enough, even if the girl isn’t all that into you, you can get her to go along with what you want (I guess this hearkens back to the whole "control the frame" thing I talked about earlier, but in a way it’s more important out here because the women tend to take more cues from men).
Secondly, I notice that money definitely plays a big role out here in Europe. It’s as though women are looking for good providers out here, and having lots of money will definitely help you get them. Now, I’m not the richest guy in the world by far (especially considering the Euro outweighs the dollar at the moment), but I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of telling women I feel the man should provide for them and support them. That seems to go over really well, though in the US a line like that would only work on certain girls.
To expand on that "money" line of thought a little bit, I’ve also noticed that many of the women out here sell themselves to men, and this is considered quite common. A Russian girl I hooked up with told me that many women are trained early on to perform that way. My first night in Europe, I actually picked-up on three different women, all of whom asked for money. The thing was, it wasn’t really prostitution (though in America we’d think it was). These were normal girls who were looking for a man to support them while they were with him and they wanted to send money back to their families in poorer countries. Needless to say, I didn’t go home with any of these women, but it was a big wake-up call on the difference between American women and women out here in Europe.
Don’t get me wrong, in LA, women are for sale too, but it’s usually a more subtle thing. Some women go for rich guys or famous guys, or whatever, but they’re a bit more manipulative about it (ie: gold-digers).
Oddly enough, I’ve found that American women are easier to pick-up out in Europe than they are back home. Maybe it’s because they’re on vacation and are looking to cut loose, or maybe knowing another American is nice for them and it’s an "instant connection" thing. But the difference is quite noticeable.
Sometime soon when I get the chance, I’ll have to come back and actually TRAVEL around Europe to see what other countries are like. Though I think I may have to take the time to recharge my bank account before I do that, though. =)

No, I’m not in Croatia, nor anywhere near there.
I probably am making mass generalizations, but that’s been my experience so far. The place I’m staying has a wide mix of different kinds of women in it. There’s also the language barrier to contend with, so maybe there are plenty of different types of women who aren’t like that which I don’t get to meet because I can’t speak to them.

the girls he has “picked up” really are prostitutes they just don t see themselves that way. When he says “europe” he means poland . the people there are very beautiful but very poor and desperate so any western man however fat and naive as long as they dont come across as weird is going to be of higher status and hence attractive to them

Glad you are having a good time in Europe.
Your post is interesting to me because I have had the opposite experience with Europeans in general.
I have a few friends who live in Germany and Switzerland (Natives) and when I visit them, I am constantly surprised by how much more pleasant the women are than American girls.
They seem to better conversationalists, and more cultured than the girls I meet here.
(Then again, I live in LA) lol

Hey Thundercat, I really like your site, but this article had me laughing hysterically: so you were at an undisclosed location in this ‘Europe’ area…well as has already been pointed out, there are HUGE differences between people from different European countries, to the extent where I don’t think it is possible to generalise about ‘Europeans’. (And some would argue that it’s equally unfair to generalise about Americans – e.g. comparing a New Yorker with someone from a small town in Illinois…)

As for the comparison with LA: Surely I don’t need to elaborate on the difference between gold-digging and prostitution (and no, they aren’t even on the same scale, so it’s not just a difference of degree)

Your post sounds like a cliche – the American talking up his trip to “Europe” with all its “culture” and using scattergun generalisations. In fact this is the sort of article that gives Americans a bad reputation as insular and grossly – almost rudely – ignorant of other cultures. I’m sure that is not true of you, and I hope that next time you cross the Atlantic (possibly bringing news of this exciting ‘Women’s Lib’ that you mention?) you have an opportunity to spend time in a few more countries so you can appreciate the fantastic differences between them,

To get things straight, there is a huge difference between America and Europe.
I think it is about the percentage of people being very naive.
In America it always seems to me there are just far too many of them.
In Germany i can say, we have more kinds of women than one could imagine.
Generalizations are definitely not working here. And it is the same for England and definitely France. Holland is something else, because I can say 90% of the girls there are blond. Just kidding.
Get yourself in the next flight and take an actual language course ( yeah this helps talking to people, not everybody has to know english, this is very arrogant thinking there).
Go to Berlin, Hannover, Paris, Amsterdam or London and have fun in a real club or on a real venue. GOLD DIGGING is something i couldn’t see in this part of Europe when I wasn’t in a special club for that. And in those clubs it is all about bragging and showing off with armani suits, yeah.
Perhaps you just didn’t get that.

So OCWaterBoy and I decided to do Europe for a month… do some sightseeing, immerse ourselves in foreign cultures, partake of new cuisines, and try out their women. We did nine countries and twelve cities. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty before I regale the tale of our travels…
Most Beautiful Women
Paris, France – I miss the French girls. They have a special thing for Asian guys.
1) Zagreb, Croatia – Croatia wasn’t even on our list of countries to go, but BadBoy convinced us to check out for at least one day. We stayed two and a half days. Yes, Badboy and Shark aren’t shitting you when they say they have the some of the youngest, hottest little things out there.
2) Copenhagen, Denmark – The Danish are not only incredibly attractive like all Scandinavians, but they’re also the most outgoing and jolly of them
3) Stockholm, Sweden – Land of a thousand blondes. They’re a lot more reserved than the Danish.
4) Prague, Czech Republic- Also land of another thousand blondes. Unfortunately, it’s flooded with the sex trade. More likely than not, you’ll eventually end up hitting on a sex worker.
5) Berlin, Germany – Aaah, those statuesque blondes. A very vibrant city with vibrant people who drink beer like it’s coffee for dinner, lunch, AND breakfast.
6) Amsterdam, Netherlands – Drugs and sex. A very diverse city, but also very touristy.
7) London, England – Much like Amsterdam in that it’s more diverse, but also touristy. Best fashion around too.
9) Rome, Italy – Beautiful city, some beautiful girls, but too touristy. They’re also probably the most aggressive, top notched AMOGs I’ve ever seen, America and Europe.
10) Barcelona, Spain – Eh. What can be said, some beautiful Spainards, but I just couldn’t dig it.
11) Venice, Spain – THE most romantic city I visited. Unfortunately, the night life closes at 12am.
12) Nice, France – Posh, beautiful, exclusive. Like the Italians, they will refuse to speak English to you.

FR: Missed Connections & Lessons (Europe LR Continued…
OK, here are some random stories, lessons learned, missed connections and almost one night stands from Europe…
London to Paris
OCWaterBoy and I take the EuroStar train that goes from London to Paris. Before the train has left, I go out to take a smoke and a beautiful blonde comes out to smoke as well.
Spontaneously, I open her up about smoking and quite quickly we go into some very deep and wide rapport. Done with our smokes, we walk into the train. We’re definitely connecting and I sit down and motion her to take the seat across from me.
She’s a model that works the Paris/London runway & print circuit and will be moving to New York in a week. Excellent. She’s beautiful, we’re connecting, and she’s coming to America. How great is that?
We’re talking a good 30 minutes to an hour when she VOLUNTEERS her number. Apparently she’s also not used to giving out her number because she has to pull out the SIM card from her cell phone in order to read off this crazy 16 digit number.
BIG MISTAKE.
OC and I haven’t really gotten used to the European phone system. It’s just fucking wack. Numbers can be anywhere between 6 digits to 12 digits. And that’s not even including the COUNTRY code, the CITY code, AND the area code.
Later on, I re-engage the girl who has taken up her original seat and we talk for another good half hour. This time, she VOLUNTEERS to meet up with us later at a bar for drinks after we get situated in our hostel.
This is fucking awesome. A beautiful girl I really like is basically making EVERYTHING easy for me to hook up with her.
Alas, this is where the lesson learned is. See, that crazy ass digits she gave me off her SIM card had her phone number SOMEWHERE in it, but it also had a whole lot of extra numbers, not to mention I didn’t know what country code, what city code, and what area code to call. I basically tried all the various combinations I could think of while I was at the pay phone, but to no avail.
Damn. But here’s the kicker, I see her all the time in this H&M print ads that are posted up everywhere in Paris, Barcelona, etc. Fuck.

The States should be compared to West-Europe. Other wise its like comparing France to Columbia instead of the USA.

Stumbled on this as well. It seems to me that what this guy has said is mostlikely true. The three women at first were mostlikely in a Western European state and they were 3 Eastern European women.
I know there are a few women on this board who disagree with all of this and rightly so, but most women do seek financial stability and the thought of a somewhat handsome man from a dominant Western civilization would be intriguing to them.
Seducing women is seducing women. The tactics change with the cultures, but in the end it is all the same and has been going on since the beginning of human history. European women can be seduced.
According to europepua.com – each culture has it’s unique angles. For instance, Spanish women and Slovak women are not turned on by the same things. I think that like Brian said all women are SIMILAR, but not IDENTICALLY seduced. I think there’s more to the cultural aspects than many of you admit. Or are even aware of.
