Mystery once again appears on mASF posting about "DHVs" (also known as Demonstrations of Higher Value, a technique where you raise your perceived social status in the eyes of a woman in an attempt to make her all starry-eyed. =)
Mystery writes:
We DHV and then we make HER DHV. That is what QUALIFYING really means. We aren’t actually trying to make her qualify but DHV us.THAT is the MIRRORED parallel between A2 and A3.
We DHV and look for IOIs in A2 and then in A3 we make her DHV us so we can IOI her.
Isnt that brilliant? I discovered this mirror between A2 and A3 many
months ago. The A3 objective is to make her DHV so you can IOI so this
includes the truth inherent in both the TRUE qualifying and false
qualifying models into one elegant model. M3. the concept of QUALIFYING
(both true and false) has thus been made out of date.I started to take this mirror idea and see if certain gambits could be
mirrored and made to help us. turns out, if you mirror GROUNDING, then
you first ground your identity to her reality and then you make her
ground HER IDENTITY TO YOUR REALITY. improves the gambit, possibly
significantly.what other gambits could be mirrored in order to improve the gambit’s effectiveness?
Okay, to translate a bit for the uninitiated…
In Mystery Method, everything is broken down into stages. In the Attraction phase, there are three stages you must progress through — A1, A2, and A3. What Mystery is referring to in this post is the concept of "Qualification," which Swinggcat introduced to the community with his Push/Pull technique. What Mystery is saying here is that when you get a girl to "qualify" to you, what you’re really doing is demonstrating higher value, then forcing her to do the same — ie: she has to prove to you that she’s on the same level as you are.
When you demonstrate higher value in the second phase of Mystery’s attraction game, you look for "Indicators of Interest" (IOIs) from the girl to see if she’s showing signs of attraction. If she is, and she responds by trying to demonstrate her value, you move into phase 3 of Mystery’s attraction model, and then show her Indicators of Interest as well to let her know that you’re into her as much as she’s into you (aka: mutual attraction). In Mystery’s model, once you have mutual attraction, you move into comfort.
Whew.
Anyone else think Mystery needs to lay off the acronyms? =)

i think this community needs to lay off all this intellectual big talk. Coming full circle from the beginning when NLP ruled ASF (.. below me!…), through the rise of mystery and then back again to my point now.
i remember when mystery posted useful stuff about clubs (back when NLPers were skurrrd of clubs cause it was too loud and they were too fugly) and said stuff like “stay away from the dancefloor,etc” which was genius at the time.
now its stuff like “grounding her identity into your substraight first layer level B4-45, but not B4-44″….
someone needs to come and say “look, just say OOGA-BOOGA! and find out what makes her tick, then proceed to fuck like a champ”.. enough of this thesaurus diarhea.
im not the greatest seductionist nor claim to be, but i have real world experience. i used to keep a huge archive of stuff i learned. you name it, i had it.
but no more. i threw that stuff out (but not forgotten) and started anew, simplifying the attraction process.
all i have to say is read, absorb, forget, then practice. ive made the mistake of trying to deeply understand what the hell some of these guys are trying to say. but i dont need to anymore. a basic understanding is all you need to start and experience is all you need to be successful.

Your shit is right on point, bro. It’s like a lot of the guys have the need to sound important for ego reasons when they talk.
Just use plain english. I got caught up in that bullshit at one time too man, but no more.
And what it all boils down to is this:
1. Get the knowledge.
2. Plan.
3. Practice.
4. Action.
5. Learn.
6. Keep learning.
In other words, get your ass out there and try some shit. Don’t be afraid to fail. Learn from your mistakes and don’t make them again. Keep doing what works.
Real life experience is THE BEST teacher.

The other two posters have valid points, but I think it’s cool that Mystery is breaking down the mechanics of it.
Before I started reading any of these message boards, I’d had decent success with women. I just didn’t know what the hell was working and what wasn’t. I don’t know how many times I’ve read an article and thought, “so THAT’S what I was doing.” You definitely don’t want to be in an extremely analytical state when you’re out partying, but it’s kind of cool to know exactly what is going on in an interaction.
Agreed – I dont have any time while in a set to think of this structure – I train myself so this structure actualizes itself intuitively. I actually let go of my outcome and free my mind from mechanical chatter. I go in pretty clear of mind now a days. Bruce Lee style.

I think it all depends what level a guy is at. A complete beginner needs different instruction than someone who knows what he is doing.

I had to start from square one, just like most of you. so here i am, teaching my friend how to be “cool” (my word for PUA). so im instructing him with “open with this opener, then transision to a story, then this,then that etc”…
but he just crash and burned. failure after failure. even so that i got upset cause he just couldnt get “it”. so i said,
“fuck it, forget everything that i told you. just go out there and have fun. be a wild guy like a rockstar, intrigue her like james bond would, make her lust like you know youre her true love. dont worry, we’ll just have a good time, thats all”
lo and behold, he was out striking up conversations(with my help), joking around and having fun. he didnt get a fucky-fucky, but the enjoyment factor was incredibly high, even for me.
one good book i suggest is reading “The inner game of tennis” by gallway. he basically says that in order to learn how to hit a good stroke is to first learn the mechanics, forget everything that you learned and just start hitting tons of balls, turning it into a subconcious action. Once you have to think about something, it wont work. everything has to be second nature (like riding a bike, driving a car, etc).
Does this guy sound like he is channeling the same demon that Mystery does?

All mystery has done is given names to situations and social activities that didn’t have an abbreviated/simple name. And yeah, it is fun learning the acronyms. Like another language, it can be spoken to other wings even whilst in a set without anyone understanding. That’s the beauty of it.
