I don’t know about you guys, but I like to listen to music to get pumped up before I go out to sarge. Something that gets my blood rushing and gets me energized. Some of my favorite bands to listen to are:

7. Metalica (the old stuff)

10. Cyprus Hill
Yeah, yeah, pretty run of the mill stuff. What can I say? I’m not a HUGE music-phile. But I know what I like and what gets me excited. I’d be interested in hearing what other guys listen to in order to get in the mood.

Ah music is my true medicine. I have a very eclectic taste considering my background growing up is very hip hip/ r&b based. I know we got a lot of metal heads in the community…it’s all good. No particular order. This is what I vibe to: Bands/artists
Lounge/chill kinda music: Blue six( Music and Wine track), Miguel Migs,Jamiroquai, some old school clubbing deep house as well like Raze(Break for love), Zero 7 (destiny track download no matter what’s your vibe..chicks melt)
Alternative/Industrial/Prog. Rock: Tool( awesome band), Deftones, Rage, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus,Rob Zombie, Nine inch nails, Chilli peppers, Janes Addiction, Cold Play

HipHip: Common Sense( I used to love her) MOs Def, N.E.R.D( lap dance), Black Moon, Dead Prez(hiphop track), Cyprus Hill( how I could just kill a man), K-OS(canuck from my hood dowload Superstar part zero one of the hottest underground act on mtv2 last year), KRS-one, Tribe called quest, Rakim, Nas, Biggie(who shot ya track), Tupac,Too short,LL Cool J, Snoop, and Ice-T. Of course Missy Elliot for the party shit.
R&B: Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye(I want you album..every player needs that album),Prince, Rick James, DeAngelo, Maxwell, and Chaka Khan etc
