Mystery on whether Attraction is Necessary

Well, a while back I posted a link to a thread started by Formhandle on the Advanced board about whether attraction was necessary or not. It was an interesting concept, even if I think Formhandle missed the boat a bit. Regardless, Mystery decided to chime in. Here’s what he had to say:

without attraction you cannot isolate. the theory is absurd. (but it was a good exercise for me in thinking it through just in case.)
