Dear Thundercat,

The past few days have been really eye opening. Reading your blog has made me realize that there is alot of shady shit going on in the bootcamp/workshop industry.

Your posts of late have inspired me to start a new website, where people in the community can go to share reviews and get educated on what’s really going on.

Currently, there are about 15 reviews, collected with the permission of people who have taken workshops. There is a form where guys can submit reviews, which will be moderated by me (i have no affiliation with any company), where I can make sure people arn’t spamming.

It’s my hope that if we can all contribute experiences, we will be able to avoid situations where people are this unhappy with their workshop experiences.

His site is seductionworkshopreviews.com.  Definitely worth checking out.

Tyler Durden Clones Busted?

February 20, 2006 by

A few days ago I posted about an interesting phenomenon going on here in Los Angeles with guys pretending to be Mystery in clubs in order to pick up chicks.

Well, now it seems it’s happening in New York too, but this time it’s not Mystery who’s being impersonated, it’s Tyler Durden.  And they’re apparently not even doing a very good job of it either.

The following is an email I got from a girl named Laura talking about her run-in with the PUAs/Tyler Cone.

Laura writes:
I just wanted to write because I’ve heard of this happening but never actually thought guys would be so hapless at a local, low-key bar. Wrongo!

I was out in the East Village tonight and there was a huge group of men aimlessly sarging. One approached two friends and me and said "I need an opinion on something." Unfortunately I’ve not only read The Game but wrote about it for a couple of relationship venues so I pointed out immediately that I knew what he was doing.

First he asked if is we’d date a guy in a wheelchair, which sort of tanked because one of my friends already did date a guy in a wheelchair and another of my friends dated the hot guy from Murderball so we were like "yeah." So he started playing the strawberry game with my other friend, but fucked it up by telling her it was her strawberry field and then asking what she’d say to the farmer she’d stolen from and she was like "But the strawberries were mine."

Then the wingman-god-knows-what came up and started delivering a routine about approaching some midgets on the street and insulting them which, instead of demonstrating value, demonstrated that he was rude to midgets and didn’t have a good punchline for his story. The awkward/obvious part was that in between, we interrupted to try to have a real conversation about what he was talking about, and he just totally froze, didn’t acknowledge anything, then dove back into his clearly-rehearsed script.

So here’s the best part: when wingman #2 came up to say "I heard someone over here is talking about sex," Mr. Strawberry hadn’t even gotten to the part where he’d analyzed the game and said it was about sex because he was doing such a dreadful job. So Mister Two said "Well I heard you said you’d read the game? I’m in that. I’m Tyler Durden. I’m here teaching these guys." Oh and he also proved his close friendship with Neil by revealing the top-secret insider information that Neil used to be a writer for "The Rolling Stone" magazine. Which, good cover, except he wasn’t Tyler Durden. At all. And I did what any girl would do OBviously and called Neil Strauss and asked him Tyler’s real first name which wasn’t the one on Mr. 2′s passport. The end.

Just FYI we would have talked to any of them if they’d feigned interest in us rather than painfully reciting memorized lines that made us feel like we were watching a showcase of dramatic readings at the local high school. Oh, and not said they were Tyler Durden, which is just retarded and weird.

Owch.

Either these guys are newbies who just took their first RSD seminar, or they’re a couple losers who went out right after reading The Game.  Either way, they’re going through their learning curve.  But for anyone out there interested, I will say this:

If you’re going to PRETEND to be someone, pretend to be someone rich, famous, or powerful instead of pretending to be a PUA.  Especially one named after a character in a well known book/movie like Fight Club.  You’ll get much farther in the long run.

The Game — Follow Up

Well, it looks like sales for The Game is still going strong.  I’m happy to say that in the first week of release, it got as high as #9 on the amazon.com top 100 list, which is pretty amazing.  In fact, it even reached #1 on the UK version of amazon!

I spoke with Neil Strauss over the weekend, and he was immensely pleased with the outpouring of support the community has shown both him and his book.  He knew there would be a couple people who attacked him for what he wrote, but he never thought the response would be so overwhelmingly positive.  He asked me to thank you all for helping to make the book a success.

Neil will be travelling around doing book signings and other publicity for a while, so be sure to help him out by recommending the book to others.  Not only is it a great read, but it can also be a way to get friends of yours into the community.

If you’re in San Francisco, you can meet Neil Strauss tomorrow, September 14th, live and in person at one of his book signings.  Here’s the info:

DATE: Wednesday September 14, 2005
TIME: 7:30pm
LOCATION: Books Inc.

The book signing here in LA was a blast, and I’m sure the one in San Fran will be awesome too.  If you’re lucky, maybe Neil will do what he did here and take everyone out to dinner afterwards!  You won’t have a better opportunity to meet one of the best in the game.

Casanova Movie On The Way

September 7, 2005 by

I just found this interesting tid-bit about a new movie regarding the world famous seducer Casanova…

BEIJING, Sept. 5 — He was a libertine and intellectual, a seducer,
spy and seminarian, an adventurer and fugitive from justice. Now
Giacomo Casanova is also funny, self-sacrificing, writhing in the
throes of love and — because this is history Hollywood-style — a
character with a happy ending.

The Australian actor Heath Ledger plays the insatiable
lover in big trouble in Lasse Hallstrom’s “Casanova,” a clever, often
madcap comedy that happily doesn’t let the real life facts of the 18th
century Venetian get in the way of a very funny story line.

Ledger has been all over the screens at the Venice Film
Festival. Last Thursday, his performance as a homosexual cowboy
wrestling with his desires in Ang Lee’s “Brokeback Mountain” wowed
audiences.

“The real Casanova was a man who had a true understanding
of women and had an uncanny ability to get into the minds of women,”
Hallstrom said at a news conference ahead of Saturday night’s premiere.
“And that’s what I wanted to keep about Casanova in this film.”

Ledger said he did research his character — to a point.

“I flipped through his journals and then it was (history)
out the window,” Ledger said. “We were making it into a romp. We wanted
to have a clean slate and just have fun.”

For Hallstrom, whose credits include “Cider House Rules”
and “Chocolat,” making “Casanova” was a welcome chance to return to his
roots in TV comedy in Sweden.

“The real Casanova is a wonderful idea for another movie,”
the director said. “He was such a multi-talented man — writer,
musician, priest, philosopher, scientist.”

The actors’ accents range from proper English to something
close to thick New Yorker, but the illogic just blends into all the
snappy-paced, steady fun.

What Hallstrom was intent on making authentic was Venice’s opulent yet earthy 18th century atmosphere.

He succeeded, thanks in large measure to Venice, which
allowed the cast and crew access to just about everywhere they wanted,
from St. Mark’s Square to palaces never before opened for filming.

Notice that Casanova wasn’t JUST a seducer?  He had many interests and lived a full and exciting life.  Remember that going out to pick-up women is okay to a certain extent, but never let it defite who you are.

Game Publicity Fumbles

Looks like publicity for The Game is really kicking into high gear.  Aside from the Primetime Live coverage on ABC, Neil will also be juggling the five ladies from The View this Friday morning.  Here’s the email I got from a guy named Infinity7 on the subject…

Infinity7 writes:
That’s right Thundy…..Style’s gonna be on the view this Friday morning.  Thursday night on Primetime ABC, then on the View the next morning.  SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!  STYLE’S GONNA BE ON THE FUCKIN VIEW!!!!!!  LOLOLOL!!!!!!!

Well, consider the word spread.  Here’s the details via the View’s website:

FRIDAY, SEPT. 2
Guests — Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener); Victoria Gotti (Growing Up Gotti);  Neil Strauss (author, The Game).

I don’t envy Style, going on that show with four women and Barbara Walters, not to mention the crowd full of housewives that’ll be there.  I’m sure they’ll put him through the ringer too.  But I bet if you watch, you’ll get to see Style sarge all of them.

(Style, if you can, try to bang Elisabeth Hasselbeck, she’s hot!  If not her, then definitely Star Jones!!!  She can be screaming "Yes I AM a laywer!" the whole time you’re doing it =)

Neil Strauss Interview

I got this email from a guy named Nick about a big article/interview with Niel Strauss (aka Style — the most powerful of the Jedi) in a Canadian mag called Macleans.

Nick writes:
Macleans a weekly Canadian news magazine published a 6 page article on Stlye’s book "The Game" entitles "Lady Killers, inside a secret network of scientifically trained seducers."

Article starts off with a little background on Style, moves on to how he met Mystery then goes into him getting into Ross Jefferies, David DeAngelos and Gunwitches stuff. Then it talks about some of the higher profile women he’s dealt with, then project hollywood and then onto a little closing bit about the book itself. You can read this portion on the magazines website (link below). There is also a little Q&A with style which isint in the published version of the magazine.

Read The Article Here

In the next few pages which i couldent find a copy of on the site their is a story about the reporter going out with Mystery to Standard Lounge in Toronto and watching Mystery pick up Scott Baios (Chachi on happy days) girlfriend, they then goto another bar and give the reporter a quick little lesson.

All in all a good article, if you want some scans of the magazine itself lemme know.

An interesting bit in the article is that Columbit/Tristar (aka Sony, the most powerful of the movie studios) have optioned the movie rights for the book.

Also, here’s a full Q&A the Maclean journalist did with Style…

The Game: Penetrating The Secret Society Of Pick Up Artists

August 29, 2005 by

006055473801_aa240_sclzzzzzzz_Well, it’s been talked about for years, my friends, but 0-hour is soon upon us.  As you all know (and if you don’t, you’re going to find out right now), Neil Strauss — also known as Style, the most powerful of the Jedi — has been writing a book for the past couple of years about his experiences in this underground seduction community of ours, and on September 6th this book will be released to the masses.

Not only that, but on September 1st, Primetime Live will be running a special on Neil, his book, and the community on ABC.  I understand the full hour of the show will be devoted to Neil and the community, and will feature people like Mystery and MINE’99 (who apparently claims he can get any guy laid, but whatever).  You’ll also probably see the Cliff’s List seminar on there since Primetime Live filmed that seminar.  I hear the guys from Pick-Up 101 in San Francisco will be featured briefly too, though who knows what makes the final edit.

Since Primetime Live is based on ABC, you can definitely expect a "pro-feminist/anti-men" stance where they try to show both sides of the story (the benefit of learning pick-up vs. how women "really" respond to it) while missing the whole point of what this community tries to teach entirely.  The fact is that most women will respond to the tactics we use, but if someone comes up to the right after we use them with a camera and asks "Would you sleep with that guy," the answer would always be "No!" simply because the girl doesn’t want to look like a slut on national TV.

As for the book, I personally cannot wait to read it, mostly because I was present for a great deal of what is documented in it.  I’ve known for a long time now that Niel is undoubtedly one of the biggest success stories of the community and one of its most skilled seducers, so to get this inside look at his failures, setbacks, success, and ultimate triumph in achieving his goal will be really eye opening for me.  And for those of you who love the community drama, there probably won’t be any shortage of that in the book too.  Here’s the Amazon.com summary of the book:

Reviewed by Amy Sohn
I never dated Neil Strauss, but I dated guys
like him. Like many New York women, I have always gone for balding,
pale guys because they’re grateful and good in bed. But a few years
ago, a distraught Strauss decided he was a loser with women and set
about transforming himself into the world’s greatest pick-up artist. The Game
is his long, often tedious but hilarious account of how he did it.

This
ugly-duckling tale will affect different readers in different ways,
depending on their degree of cynicism: some will be awed by Strauss’s
ménage-à-trois snowball scene, while others will suspect it was cribbed
from a third-rate porno Strauss watched in his pre-macking days. When
his story begins Strauss is, well, a Neil: an unconfident,
self-described AFC (average frustrated chump). He is also, it should be
noted, a well-known rock critic who penned porn star Jenna Jameson’s
autobiography, leaving one wondering just how pathetic women really
found him.

After paying $500 to join a workshop for aspiring PUAs
(pick-up artists) led by a magician named Mystery at Hollywood’s
Roosevelt Hotel, Strauss becomes addicted to pick-up technique. He
trains with several PUA gurus, including Ross Jeffries, a hypnotist
rumored to be the basis for the Tom Cruise character in Magnolia.
With his brains and dedication, Strauss renames himself Style and soon
becomes a master of the game—able to get sex from beautiful women who
once would have run the other way.But The Game doesn’t get
really interesting until Strauss deviates from his NC-17 Horatio Alger
story and tells what happens when he moves into a Sunset Strip mansion
with a group of other PUAs. He starts to see the misogyny of the sport
and realizes that most of its leaders had miserable childhoods. The AFC
who became a PUA to understand women ultimately becomes an expert on
men.

As Strauss grows restless to talk about things other than number
closes and phase shifts (the book’s glossary is a juicy read of its
own), the mansion loses its appeal and he reluctantly grows up. When he
meets a tough-talking band mate of Courtney Love’s named Lisa and they
bond over music, we can guess where the narrative is headed. In the
book’s final pages, he dumps onto his bed all the phone numbers he’s
collected and tells Lisa, "I’ve spent two years meeting every girl in
L.A. And out of them all, I chose you," which is like telling your
mother-in-law that the Thanksgiving dinner you had last year at
Applebee’s was nothing compared to the one she just prepared. But for
some reason, Lisa doesn’t flee. I can only hope that in the inevitable
2007 movie version, starring Jack Black and Kate Hudson, Lisa throws
the numbers in his face and leaves him for a guy who knows how to pay a
girl a compliment.

Amy Sohn is the author of My Old Man, which was just released in paperback by Simon & Schuster, and she writes the "Mating" column for New York magazine.

Note that the "2007 movie version" is a bit of a joke.  There very well may be a movie about this book (I believe it’s already been optioned) but I don’t think there are any plans for it right now.

Regardless, The Game is going to be a fantastic read.  For those of you who don’t know Neil’s work, he also wrote the biographies for Motley Cru, Marilyn Manson, Jenna Jameson, and Dave Navaro.  This is the first book Neil has written that’s fully about him, so it’s a bit of a departure from his previous works, but that should make it all the more interesting.

I highly recommend you preorder your copy of The Game now so that when the 6th rolls around, it’ll be waiting for you in your mailbox.

You can get your own copy of The Game here.

Again, sorry for letting a week go by with no new updates on the site.  Things are so crazy for me right now.  I’m trying to settle into a routine where I spend a few hours a day on the blog, but it’s getting harder and harder now that the summer is coming to a close and work is starting to pile up.  *grrrrr*

If any of you guys want to make my job easier by emailing me links to interesting posts and articles on the internet, please feel free to do so.  I plan to keep updating the site on a semi-regular basis as much as I can.

This news is a bit old, but it looks like the Badboy Lifestyle Forums have been closed to the public and are now only accepting posts from workshop attendees, much like the forumson Mystery’s site does.  I can understand wanting to reserve Badboy’s posts just for those students of his who’ve taken a workshop and expressed interests in using his methods to improve, but I do hope we still see Badboy post publically from time to time still.

Seeing as how this is a bit of a milestone for the site, I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit the site and contribute with your comments.  It probably wouldn’t have gone on as long as it has without you.

Upcoming Seattle Mystery Method Workshop

August 12, 2005 by

This just in from the Mystery Camp…

Hey Seattle Guys,

DJ here with a special announcement just for you. DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR SKILL TRANSITIONING FROM ATTRACTION INTO COMFORT AND GET MORE OF THE RESULTS YOU WANT? Of course you do. I can show you how, quickly and easily. Every time I do this program, guys stay in sets for long periods of time. Even after I’ve gone home.

I’m going to run a two-part Mystery Method specialty program in Seattle on Tuesday August 17th and Wednesday August 18th. This program is for both guys who have taken prior programs and guys just getting started. It is unique in the community and guides you towards a higher level refinement of two things:

  1. How to open – You will actually role play opening skills in the classroom. By teaching guys to have natural conversations, we are breaking habits that you may not even know you have. Habits that might be blowing you out of set. Whether you are just getting started and need some confidence to approach or you’re an old pro opening everything in sight, you will benefit immensely from the exercises.
  2. How to transition to rapport and convey your values to her. This is a “work from the inside out” workshop and contains inner game exercises not found anywhere else in the community.

Each component also includes an in-field workshop.

I am absolutely astonished at the feedback I am receiving for this workshop. This is a major key for guys who need to improve their ability to convey their unique personality. If you are interested in improving your game and your ability to captivate others, don’t miss this. I started this as an experiment and am astounded at the results and changes I see guys getting right before my eyes.

You will learn how to open anyone and convey your unique personality in any setting, whether it is a night venue, a library, an airport, the beach, or a coffee shop. You will also leave with the ability to develop and refine how you convey the most attractive aspects of who you are. Learn how to be natural and fascinating at the same time.

We’ll cover on Wednesday from 4pm to 9pm.  In field 10-12.

1.  The M3 Model. Mystery’s latest and greatest roadmap for every interaction with a woman. Learn how to understand where you are with this meta model and then you can seamlessly move forward through each step of the interaction.

2.  A1 Opening. You will learn and experience through role playing scenarios exactly how an opener should feel. DJ will cover 5 openers you will immediately use during the fieldwork following the seminar. Guys tell me this is one of the most useful exercises they’ve ever done as we cover everything from tonality, to shield responses, to body language. YOU WILL PERFECT YOUR OPENING SKILLS IN THE CLASSROOM BEFORE EVEN STEPPING FOOT IN THE FIELD AND YOU WILL ALSO EXPERIENCE WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE ON THE OTHER END. When we get in field, you will be able to open naturally and seamlessly without worrying about how to “Game.”

  • How attraction and comfort are complementary forces that must be balanced and harmonized.
  • A better mindset than the “sarging mentality.”
  • Conversational flexibility and conversational arts.
  • Different types of openers
  • Proper body language
  • Tonality
  • How to be normal.
  • How to interact rather than act and form a genuine connection.
  • Experience an understanding of what it feels like to be on the other end of the conversation.
  • The importance of a fun and friendly vibe that is genuine.
  • Why putting on a show and being flashy can hurt your chances of going into comfort and a better way.
  • Intensive feedback and personal coaching.

We’ll cover on Thursday from 4pm to 10pm. In field 11-1.

3.  A2 Attraction and C1 comfort building: DJ’s unique storytelling workshop which can’t be found anywhere else. You’ll learn how to develop and tell captivating DHV stories from your own experience. Attraction to comfort is perhaps the most important phase of the interaction. You will learn how to initiate and engage in a conversation with any woman anywhere.  We’ll work on stories and experiences from YOUR life that you can immediately use in set to convey your most attractive qualities. You will learn how to develop YOUR OWN material by using this particular template to develop and hone all of your own stories. Through a series of exercises and intensive personal and group feedback, you will learn how to connect with your core values and how to find your own personal experiences that convey who you are to her. You will learn both an attraction and comfort transition version of how to convey your story, whether it be your life story or just a funny experience…And you will take home a model to use to refine all of your own material.

  • Why the middle way is both more difficult yet way more effective than either extreme
  • Understand her model of the world – the difference between self esteem (How she relates to herself) and sexual confidence (How she relates to the world)
  • Finding happiness vs temporary moments of pleasure.
  • Personal goal setting
  • Discover and understand your inner values and what’s really important “Who are you?”
  • Learn to tweak “How you are” to reflect who you are and still be attractive.
  • The importance of building a solid, creative, flexible and happy life as a foundation for interacting with women.
  • What qualities/virtues in a man are attractive to women.
  • Why you already have an interesting life.
  • Understanding how experiences you’ve already had can be a vehicle to convey who you are as well as your most attractive characteristics
  • The elements of a good story
  • Exercises to polish your story
  • Emotional hook words, pauses, and tonality.
  • Creating the perfect ending for your story. 5 different ways.
  • Multiple threading.
  • How to be captivating.
  • How getting too tightly attached to views can hold us back from improvement. Don’t believe everything you think.

Both nights include:

In-field experience. You will be given a chance to go into the field to a laid back venue where your sets will open and you can get into and stay in sets.

The inner frame of “I am a man who comfortable enough to present who I am to the world confidently,” differentiating self esteem and sexual confidence, and a deeper understanding of attraction and comfort.

The in-field part will give you a chance to play with some of the stuff that we explore at the seminar and receive feedback.

Each component includes a 2 hour in field portion. For best results, I recommend taking both pieces and that’s why I’m offering a big discount for full program.

Wednesday “Everything you need to start a conversation/refining opening skills intensive” program: $300

Thursday “Learning how to convey who you are and transitioning to rapport through storytelling” Program $400

Take both for $500!

What others are saying after this program in Montreal, Canada:

DJs conversation workshop was, in my opinion, one of the pivotal elements that helped bring all my talents together. I’ve already had quite some experience before his workshop, but now with the formula and exercises we’ve run through, my confidence in ALL my interactions has gone WAY up. Its unlike ANYTHING there is out there, I’m certain (I’ve done my research) I  believe that being a natural conversationalist and storytellers is one of  the most important elements in empowering ourselves to move forward in life.

The workshop on openers was a pleasant and unexpected surprise, because I’ve seen almost all the openers out there but now this allows us to convey and align them with an added perspective. Its about congruence, awareness and added structure to the game.

DJ, I gotta give you a big ass thanx for this wisdom you’ve been able to revolutionize our lives with. Cheers,

L. Brown – Montreal, QC

Raleigh, North Carolina:

For all that missed it yesterday, DJ’s Mystery Method seminar was great!  High energy and with a lot of practice and role playing.  I personally got a lot out of it.  Thanks DJ for the great tips on story-telling.

I got I out of that mini-seminar last night. Like I was mentioning, I think that part of my problem with approach anxiety is not knowing what to say. Now that I have the formula for creating some killer stories, that shouldn’t be much of a problem anymore. I’ve already enlisted the services of my HB8.5 friend to do the exercise that we did last night on some of my other stories.

I want to thank DJ for the awesome seminar and fieldwork. It was a slow night but we were still able to get sets and watching DJ in set was amazing, he was able to re-open sets that I thought were long gone.  I’ll never forget how he gamed these 2 young, drunk girls at the pizza place after the set died on us with the girls saying they had to go to the bathroom and he was tired as hell and didn’t want to do it, yet he still owned them to show us what’s possible!

And from the Miami seminar:

I only took the mini-workshop on Monday, but that small part was very enlightening. DJ was a really good instructor, that wasn’t focused strictly on nightclub game; which was a relief, because these skills should prepare you for the 95% of your life that you don’t spend in a nightclub.  He showed us how we should be using stories to (subtly and not-so-subtly) convey things about ourselves.  The concept isn’t new or groundbreaking  but he was able to present it in a clear manner that makes it seem so obvious, that you want to slap yourself for not having been able to put it together.

I was shocked that this (judging by the reactions of the workshop people who attended that night) went beyond what was covered in the weekend bootcamp workshop.

EMAIL ME ASAP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. dj@mysterymethod.com

For more about me, read my bio on the Mystery Method “Bios” page.

Thanks guys!

DJ

So I guess Mystery won’t be at this one at all?  Looks like Mystery might be taking more of a backseat in his business now and let others do the bulk of the teaching.  I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing, since Mystery Method can be taught by pretty much anyone who understands the concepts behind it.  But still, if I were taking a Mystery Method workshop, I think I’d want Mystery to be there (of course, I may just be old school like that).

Real PUA on ABC’s “Hooking Up?”

Apparently there’s a show on ABC called "Hooking Up," which is about Internet Dating.  Money Matteo says there’s a friend of his on there who’s a natural pick-up artist.  Here’s the latest:

Money_Matteo writes:

‘online-dating’ so there is no approach to speak of.

There’s a lot to learn from this kid and it comes up in the show, especially from his concentrated DHVs..

He makes his first appearance in episode 2.

From some of the quotes Money Matteo posts in his thread, it certainly seems like this might be worth checking out.  And if you don’t know what bittorrents are, go here.

Rumors Of My Demise Have Been Exagerated…

Hi All,

You might have noticed there has been little updating of the blog recently.  Well, it’s not because I’ve left the community or been killed by a MINE’99 sponsored hit squad.  I just took some "mental health" time to get my bearing and unwind a bit.  I found that I was spending WAY too much time on the internet while it was beautiful and sunny outside, so I took a week or so off to enjoy my life for a while.  That meant absolutely NO internet, NO email, and definitely NO blog!  =)

Of course, today I come back to find over 1500 messages in my inbox (a new record, the previous was around 632!).  So now I start the long and arduous process of weeding through the email and finding which ones are worth responding to!  So if you’ve been trying to get in touch with me and haven’t heard anything back, know that I’ll be getting to your email soon.

I also haven’t read any of the replies you guys have been posting since I took my little vacation, so I’m not even sure what (if any) drama is going on right now.  If anyone want’s to give me the "Cliff Notes" version in this thread, please feel free.

I’ll be returning to regular blog updates tomorrow (Tuesday August 2nd), and I’ll also be updating SeductionLair.com later on tonight as well.

Well, it’s July 15th, and it looks like the biggest event in the seduction community this year, the Cliff’s List Seminar, is going to kick-off today!

Unfortuneately, I will not be a part of it.

Some responsibilities here in Los Angeles have forced me to cancel my trip to Cliff’s Seminar. Cliff knows about it, and I’m very sorry to all of you who were expecting to see me there.  I was looking forward to meeting all the guest speakers and attendees, but right now a weekend in Montreal just isn’t possible for me.

If anyone would like to write a detailed report of the seminar (see my DYD Masters recap as an example) and take pictures of the event, I’ll pay $$$ to post it on my site.  Just make sure it’s nice and detailed!  =)

Here’s the breakdown of the CLS as it stands now:

PARTIAL TENTATIVE TOPIC LIST (subject to change):

David DeAngelo: Will talk about advanced material that he hasn’t shared previously.

Bishop: "Know where you ARE, so you know where to GO in seduction."

Brent: "Taking Back the Power You’ve Given to Women"

Steve Piccus: Would You Date Yourself or Working your Complementary Opposites for improving your inner game.

Dr Alex Benzer aka Dr Tao: Will talk about beliefs, doing some seriously mind-altering drills, and talking about some techniques.

David Shade’s talk will be on: "Threesomes: The Secrets To Making Your Fantasy A Reality"

Sickboy & PlayboyLA: Secrets to pick-up that lead to long-term relationships. So often the pick-up has to do with getting laid, ONS (One Night Stands), etc. What we are interesting in pa ssing on is our technique for meeting women that encourages long-term, healthy relationships. We plan to go into specific techniques that we teach that a ssist this dynamic as well as building a lifestyle which naturally att racts women that you are compatible with, reducing your need to spend a lot of time "sarging". Our clients tend to be very busy, and just don’t have the time to go out to clubs/bars, etc. so we have had to customize our work in this fashion enabling them to meet women through the natural rhythm of living their life rather than hitting "sets" over and over.

Sensei: Will talk on "Kino: The Power of a Gentle Touch".

Zan:  "A Love Affair With Women"

Style: His topic will be: "Beyond the Approach — How to Keep a Woman."

Cameron: Belief and mentality of a man who is successful in attracting women. Seeing the Matrix & The 5 Attributes of a seducers.  He will give a quick background of his journey and why he joined the community. His talk will include being comfortable in your own skin and the belief system paradigm shift.

Mark B.: Will cover the basics, his background, his experience and how that changed him, att raction, how to connect, etc.

Patty Contenta: will talk on body language, and how to recognize a woman’s subtle signals.

FABULOUS SPECIAL PARTY INCLUDED!
As a special bonus, the Seminar will feature a spectacular  party being thrown in cooperation with a modelling agency.  Many very attractive women will be in attendance.

To all the attendees, pay particular attention to:  Style (the most powerful of the Jedi (BE SURE TO ADDRESS HIM AS SUCH WHEN HE TAKES THE STAGE! =) ) , Steve Piccus (the godfather of the seduction community.  He’ll deny it, but its rumored MINE’99 got some of his best stuff (you know, the stuff that actually works) from this guy!  Also, be sure to ask him about his ideas on Threesomes!), and Zan (the coolest guy I’ve ever met in this community.  We should all aspire to be like Zan!).  You’ll be able to learn incredible stuff from ALL the speakers, but to me, these three are the stand-outs.

Good luck, have fun, and be sure to post all your exploits at the seminar to this thread!

And I’m serious about paying $$$ for a detailed recap of the seminar with pictures.  Email me for deatials if you’re interested.
