Ah, where to begin…
First of all – why the hell would any of these guys go on Dr. Phil in the first place? Do you know any GUYS who watch Dr. Phil? (Well, STRAIGHT guys?) I certainly don’t. Dr. Phil’s audience is WOMEN. So why bother wasting time pitching your seduction business to a bunch of chicks if you aren’t teaching them how to get men? Snarf.
Okay, all that aside though – I thought the Mystery Method guys came off very well in this show. They were cool, calm, collected and walked that fine line between being "politically correct" and honest about what they teach. Fact is, Mystery Method DOES work on women. It is effective. That’s why it’s taken off the way it has.
Now, whatever you feel about Savoy and the current state of Mystery Method, post-Mystery, is immaterial to this show. Sure, I would like it if Mystery was still in charge of the Mystery Method name, but that doesn’t mean these guys aren’t offering value to other men by teaching what they are. (Plus, there’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff about the meltdown over at Mystery Method I won’t be sharing here, since I’ve been sworn to secrecy not to reveal it.)
So now that we’ve got Mystery Method out of the way, let’s get to the real mean and potatoes of this.
Ross "MINE’99" Jeffries.
And boy oh boy, was MINE’99 channeling all his evil, selfish, hypocritical energies in this episode! Wow. I knew MINE’99 was delusional, but the extent of his warped reality has only gotten worse with age. Maybe his horrible friz-fro is somehow affecting his brain in the same way an alien parasite would? Who knows.
Anyway, back to the show…
First off MINE’99 proudly proclaims that he is the "father" of the
seduction community. Though he did start the online newsgroups, I want
to officially amend this title to the "mentally-off creepy uncle who
likes to molest you when he gets drunk" of the seduction community,
since that is probably a more accurate statement of his real role in
it’s birth and development.
He says he wants to give men a way to get women without
participating in the four "B"s – Bullying, Begging, Buying, and Booze.
Which doesn’t make any sense since it’s obvious MINE’99 would never get
any female attention without partaking in all of those things he just
mentioned. But regardless, he left out the fifth "B" which is
BULLSHIT. Or maybe not, since Speed Seduction is exactly that.
Moving on…
Then he starts talking about the "Dark Side" of seduction. He goes on to say:
There
are people in this community who are teaching methods and tactics that
I think women should definitely be aware of. There are people who are
teaching some very sick and twisted stuff. And I do sort-of feel like
Dr. Frankenstein, I’ve given birth to a monster. There’s 10,000
bastard children of mine running around and I sort-of feel like its a
responsibility of mine to clean it up. I would like to put them out of
business if I could. Had I not started this, they wouldn’t have been
around.
Honestly, I’m surprised he didn’t finish with "IN 1999!!!!!!" *dum dum duuuuuum!*
Yes, MINE’99′s ego has not diminished along with his looks, age, and
penis size. He has become even MORE egomaniacal as he’s become more
and more irrelevant.
MINE’99 was the FATHER of teaching sick and twisted ways to seduce
women! His entire BUSINESS is based on it! And he acts like he’s the
one who spawned all the lame-ass copy cats.
News Flash: No one is ripping off Speed Seduction because it
SUCKS. If anyone can claim to have a billion bastard kids running
around perverting his teachings for their own gain, it’s MYSTERY since
almost every workshop business in existence is teaching what is
essentially his stuff!
I love how MINE’99 is acting like a crusader wanting to "put people
out of business if he could." Didn’t he try and destroy David DeAngelo
for years? Didn’t he launch a crusade targeting Mystery which ended in
death threats? Has he not tried to shut this very blog down numerous
times by sending me threating BS legal letters?
This is a guy who is SO insecure, he even brings his lawyer with him
to Neil Strauss’s book signings in case anyone bad-mouths him. Ross
still yearns for the good old days when he was the only game in town.
And honestly, if it wasn’t for Neil swooping in and making him part of
his Stylelife business, he’d probably have gone under a while ago
himself.
The fact is: Ross doesn’t GIVE A SHIT about helping other guys or
saving the seduction community from the "rip off artists." He just
hates the competition which has all but sunk his business and forcing
him to go on shows like Dr. Phil to drum up business. He only cares
about his EGO, which is what ultimately drives the man.
Notice how MINE’99 dodges the question when Dr. Phil asks him "How
successful have you been at this from a business standpoint?" Fact is,
last time he was successful was a DECADE ago. His business is all but
treading water at the moment because not only does his stuff suck, but
his former business partner is running a competing business selling the
SAME FREAKIN’ CRAPPY PRODUCTS. But MINE’99 turns it around using his
ninja MindLines skills and says "I’ve certainly been VERY influential."
Yeah, right.
Influential in the respect that you have taught men around the world what NOT to do if they want to get a chick. Obviously.
Next is where the interview gets REALLY good.
So Dr. Phil asks "Have you been on the sleazy side of this, and now
you don’t like the direction its taken?" To which MINE’99 completely
lies through his freakin’ crooked teeth.
"What
disturbs me is that the other schools that have cropped up rely a lot
on invalidation, on making women doubt their attractiveness, on
techniques that make women uncertain of whether they are being
complimented or insulted. They’re digging into people’s LOWEST
emotions – their fears, their insecurities, and I don’t think that’s a
valid way to attract someone AT ALL."
Ah… so
sayeth the man who who created the BLOWJOB PATTERN. This is a guy who
would not only teach people how to anchor bad, evil, feelings of loss
and abandonment to doors to keep women from breaking up with you – but
he would REVEL in it. This is a guy who would share with people how to
hypnotically regress women back to childhood and mess with their sexual
development and identity in order to get laid. This is a guy who
actually ENCOURAGED men to walk up to women and say "My name is Manny
The Martian. What is your favorite flavored bowling ball?"
The whole concept behind Speed Seduction was using hypnosis to
completely take away a woman’s free will and make her do everything you
wanted, which essentially would turn her into a hypno-slave. That’s
the marketing, that’s the concept, that’s what he tries to teach people.
And now here he is badmouthing the very stuff he encouraged for
YEARS, until his "sudden" turn around into a "good guy" last year when
he was desperate to save his business and had to mend some fences.
Lame.
And you know the best part about this interview? It’s when MINE’99
starts getting defensive with Dr. Phil and tries to lecture to the
guy. Now, I’m certainly no fan of Dr. Phil, but ya gotta respect a guy
who smacks down MINE’99s bullshit when he starts shoveling it out.
Then, to make matters better, when Dr. Phil tries to peg him as a
sleazbag by teaching men how to get laid, MINE’99 tries to defend
himself by saying his marketing for his stuff is MISLEADING, and it
doesn’t really help guys get laid.
Ha ha ha ha ha…
He might as well have just said "I gotta lie about my shit because otherwise NO ONE WOULD BUY IT!"
He then goes on to defend his Get Laid newsletter by saying "I wrote
that in 1993!" (Wow, six years before 1999 – guess that stuff sucks
even worse, huh?)
So not only is his stuff misleading and ineffective, it hasn’t been
updated in 15 years. I don’t know about you, but what I was doing to
get chicks 15 years ago has changed dramatically to what works for me
today. Way to stay current Rossy-boy.
Misleading, ineffective, AND outdated. Yay! Don’t you just want to go out and buy Speed Seduction right now???
Then Dr. Phil accuses MINE’99 of being a pimp. Dr. Phil got this
one wrong. People pay Pimps to get laid. People pay Ross to learn how
to stay at home and masturbate more. I’ve seen Hustle & Flow.
That guy was a pimp. You, MINE’99 are certainly no Pimp.
Then Ross goes on the ATTACK. He starts bad mouthing the MM boys by saying:
"There’s
a lot these guys do that they didn’t talk to you about that’s actually
really kind-of nasty. One of the things they rely on doing is flipping
women back and forth between feeling like they are being approved of,
and feeling they are being criticized. They do something called
Push-Pull, where they give the woman a little attention, and they’ll
pull it away so she doubts whether they’re attracted to her or not.
They use a lot of invalidation, the theory being that if you invalidate
a woman, she’ll have sex with you to prove her attractiveness. There’s
a lot of that going on."
At this point, Nick Savoy
says that this isn’t true. And you know what? It’s NOT!!! Swinggcat
(Speed Seductions former top student) was the one who pioneered the
Push-Pull theory. I don’t recall Mystery Method ever using that stuff
- even if they say they do, it’s not true Push-Pull the way it was
initially conceived.
And the humorous thing here is that what Ross describes is something
Speed Seduction teaches – only in a lot less effective way – by using
fractionation and anchoring and submodalities. He is basically
criticizing everything he teaches himself right here! Unreal.
But oh, it gets better…
"What they said about it
not being canned routines is ridiculous. They use huge amounts of
canned routines. When they ask your opinion, they don’t really care.
In fact, they’ll interrupt you when you try and give it and go on to
finish the routine."
Wow, this coming from a guy
whose entire SEDUCTION SYSTEM is about memorizing canned hypnotic
patterns and vomiting them back up with every girl you meet. In order
for Speed Seduction to even be remotely effective, you’ve got to
memorize like 300 of these suckers. And do you honestly think MINE’99
gives a fuck if a girl has ever really watched that roller coaster
documentary on the discovery channel? Do you think he CARES what she
really felt like when she was a little girl discovering her Christmas
presents?
Honestly, this is hypocracy at it’s best.
This is even illustrated further when MINE’99 explains what he
"teaches," and then Dr. Phil says "But that’s not the way you sell it
on your website." To which MINE’99 responds "No, absolutely not."
Let me repeat that in a different way:
MINE’99 DOES NOT ACTUALLY DELIVER WHAT HE PROMISES TO SELL YOU.
He even admits it on national TV.
And then the girls chime in. They even say the Mystery Method guys
are trying to do what Ross says is the "right way" to pick up women,
but that they’re doing it in a "Better Fashion."
Translation: Ross’s shit don’t work. MM’s shit does.
Another girls says it’s creeping her out.
Translation: Ross is creepy. His teachings are creepy. Therefore, she is creeped out.
Then the final girl says she never wants to go to a bar never
again. Someone should warn her that MINE’99 and his students don’t go
to bars, so that’s probably the SAFEST place to be.
And finally – Ross completely DENIES that he teaches hypnosis! They lying continues…
That
is a complete mistake. All elements of strong human emotion have a
hypnotic aspect to them because they are taking place subconsciously.
So
wait a minute… MINE’99 doesn’t really teach hypnosis? No more NLP
based material? No weasel phrases? No Blowjob patterns? He must have
completely dropped synesthisia and embedded commands. No more
hap-PENIS. No sir. Speed Seduction has now evolved to a kinder,
gentler, and even less effective form of seduction, ladies and
gentlemen. Huzzah!
Dr. Phil: Are you teaching hypnosis or anything related to hypnosis?
Ross: No! No – I am teaching something far more disturbing, and I want you to listen to this.
By
the way, that was a hypnotic command, but whatever. I love how all of
MINE’99s sales material and course material is all based around
hypnosis, and here he is blatantly LYING and saying it isn’t. He also
never said how much more disturbing the stuff he teaches is, he just
kind of leaves it at that – which could possibly be the first true
thing he said the entire interview.
So Dr. Phil finally asks "What is it you do???" To which MINE’99 responds:
"I teach men how to use language with women to evoke strong emotion."
Really?
Wow – sounds like hypnosis to me! Go figure. I mean, isn’t that NLP?
Using language to evoke desired emotion? NLP = hypnosis last I checked.
Even in MINE’99s example of what he teaches, he describes a hypnotic
induction loaded with weasel phrases and embedded commands, then talks
about mirroring her answers back to her. Yeah, that’s not hypnosis.
Riiiiiiiight.
Even the women in the audience look like they can’t believe the bullshit MINE’99 is spinning!
Let me ask you something, dear reader… for a man who claims to
teach other men how to influence women, why is it he can’t freakin’
influence Dr. Phil, a room full of women, and an entire television
audience?
BECAUSE HE’S FULL OF SHIT.
Always has been. And always will be.
Ross is a liar. He’s an insecure little dweeb. He’s a hateful,
spiteful person. He is incredibly selfish. He cares about no one
other than himself. He’s been teaching seduction for decades and is
still single. All his best students have moved on to different methods
of seduction. All his closest friends, allies and business partners
have deserted him.
You ever wonder why this is?
Simple: He’s a fake. And not only is he a fake, he’s a MEAN fake
no one likes. At least Tyler Durden is charismatic enough so people
overlook the fact he’s a raging sociopath. Ross can’t even be that
intelligent – even when he’s on national TV. He spends all his time
attacking and bad mouthing other people and can’t even fully describe
what it is he does.
This is the problem with MINE’99, and always has been. He focuses
so much on all the NEGATIVE stuff, he never comes across as likable or
sympathetic. If you ask me – he should be taking as many pick up
workshops as possible, because it’s obvious if he just got laid a few
times, he might chill out. But no, he keeps being the faker. The
insecure virgin. The loser he always has been.
Here’s my final word on the matter:
Men need to learn from people who can actually do what they say
they’ll do. They need teachers who aren’t more messed up than they
are. They need people who won’t lie to them and will treat them
honestly. They need guidance from experienced teachers.
Mystery Method is all of those things. Ross is none of them.

Mehow doesn’t just do infield footage of his own style. His Infield Insider series has in-field footage of a different pua guru each month, with their commentary. The last three have focussed on direct / alpha game: Asian Playboy, David Wygant, and Hypnotica. There will be a second installment of in-field Hypnotica footage next month.
As far as bootcamp demos vs. video: Mehow’s footage often leaves out key body language, especially facial expressions. If you know what to look for, and you’ve already seen video, you can see a lot more at a good bootcamp. But it depends on the bootcamp. I took one bootcamp with “The Mystery Method” that sucked so bad half of the students didn’t even show up for the second night out. The only instructor who showed any ability was Savoy, and he was acting gayer than Mehow (super-gay outfit and a full-blown lisp, even more than he did on Dr. Phil). There was a huge crowd of students all standing around and watching, and the demo was very brief, and I missed the opening part. When I politely asked one of the main instructors if I could see him do an approach, he refused. Probably because the only thing I saw him do was get blown out. I would have asked for a refund if I had realized at the time that they were no longer affiliated with Mystery.
Later on, I took a bootcamp with Matador, Mystery, and Lovedrop. Very different experience. Matador is an absolute animal when it comes to giving value and I got to see a lot. (But I wouldn’t recommend a Mystery bootcamp, because he’s too much of a celebrity to not be recognized. Unless he starts going out in disguise, which probably won’t happen.) The contrast between the TMM guys and Matador could not have been greater. And after the regular bootcamp period was over, he got us VIP access to one of the hottest afterhours clubs and taught us how to game in that environment until well into the morning.
I’d say the best way to do it is:
- Video first
- Then lots of practice
- Then a good bootcamp. I’d recommend Venusian Arts and maybe Mehow. Mehow actually makes sure that you have a good routine stack, an understanding of the basic principles, and in-field experience *before* the bootcamp.

I have seen guys come back from BC’s that really have not gotten any better at all. One wing had approach anxiety still.

As far as RSD and their contradictions — their problem is their all in it for the money — yet they dont have any “method” per se — so they just throw all this shit at you making you think your getting better, they throw everything but the kitchen sink, a lot of things dont even go together. If you ask them for advice they refuse to give it to you and use vague zen type bullshit and just get you all motivated and pumped up, smoke and mirrors. They are just throwing all these concepts and points of view around hoping something sticks, and you can find some things that will help you but then there are other things that will hurt you. It’s not streamlined or organized at all. I hope Tims product will change that…

Your right observer, but think if you add up all my posts how many people I have helped to save a lot of wasted time and money? How much time collectively posting about RSD has that taken up of mine? Maybe 2 hours commulatively, to help some people save themselves a hell of a lot more time that I wasted being a total RSD freak for over a year. I agree big time with the guy, they talk up an idea. They hype it up and if you question it they flame you. I am going to try and make this review of my experience of the Real Social Dynamics workshop as unbiased as possible and let you decide come to your own conclusions.
The instructors for this workshop were Mike, Jlaix (Jeffy) and Christophe. The first night the instructors told us it was going to be nothing but approaching. I wasn’t looking forward to this considering that going into the workshop I had done over a 1,000 approaches (which is over 20x more than any of the other students). Since the workshop was held in my hometown Chicago I suggested that we head off to a bar called the Apartment.
When we get there Jlaix asked anyone if they want drinks and orders one for himself. He makes me open a set which I do and afterward he says I did really well so the rest of the workshop he’s pretty much off my back about approaching except maybe 4 other times. The entire reason I took this workshop was to see the instructors game, not to approach.
The entire night I continue to pick Jlaix’s brain because I think he’s got phenomenal game even though I haven’t seen him ever open a set and I try to get him to approach the whole night. I eventually get Jlaix and Christophe to open a set and I sit one foot away from them to listen. From my perspective Jlaix’s girl looks into him for the first three minutes or so and Christophe, for whatever reason, stops talking to his girl. Soon after the girls go to the bathroom.
The set lasted about 5 minutes. At the end of the night we debriefed in a pizza place and Mike was reading off of a card what we need to do better next time. That was day 1. On day 2 the instructors stated that the goal was for the students to use a routine stack. We went to the same bar, the Apartment, and I once again was forced to do very little which was fine by me as long as the instructors approached.
The only thing I had to do this was reopen the same girl with the same opener about 4 times which was no problem. Jlaix was testing my anxiety and persistence and thought the girls might become more into me if I looked like I didn’t give a f.
At one point in the night every student was with Christophe and I realized no one had any idea where Jlaix or Mike were. They had been gone at least half an hour. I asked Christophe where they were and he didn’t know so he had the other students open sets while he and I went out on a mission to find them. We went upstairs and found them in a corner laughing with drinks in their hands and having a good time.
Christophe started screaming at them and they replied that they were opening sets for students. There were clearly no students around them or even on the same floor as them and there were clearly no girls near them. At the end of the night when we debriefed one of the students flipped out that Mike and Jlaix were gone so long and Mike replied that he was doing demos then the student yelled out “Bulls**t!” and they had nothing to say back.
These debriefs were all held in the same pizza place which was a very public setting were people could hear us talk about game. That night one guy who was not in the workshop and was eating at the pizza place yelled out “I have a question” to Jlaix and Jlaix responded “Yes, you’re fat”. The guy, who was about twice Jlaix’s size, then charged at Jlaix and shoved him in the chair he was sitting in so hard that Jlaix got knocked right into the wall and broke the chair he was sitting in into 3 pieces.
The cops then came but Jlaix didn’t press charges so it was a very short dispute. The past 2 days the instructors had said that the third day would be all demos so I was reallllllly looking forward to this day.
Before we headed out I mentioned to Jlaix and Mike about how they were gone so long last night and they claimed they couldn’t remember this. They didn’t deny it or accept it. They claimed they just couldn’t remember. I assumed that either they were lying or they had drinken too much last night or a combination of both. When we arrived at the same bar the Apartment once again for the third day in a row they told us that only the second half of the third day would be demos.

During the second half of the day Mike and Jlaix opened a set of girls and Mike soon told one the girls that her head was shaped like a pear. She angrily went to the bathroom and Mike grabbed her arm but she pushed it away.
Next set of girls Mike and Jlaix talked to were 2 girls. I was right next to them the whole time. Mike talked to his girl for a few minutes then she started losing interest and turned the other direction. For whatever reason the girls left 10 minutes into the conversation. Jlaix talked to another girl for about 5 minutes and then she left. She ran to her friends saying “ewww. That guy said he would do —– if I kissed him so I left.” At the end of the night none of the instructors sets were going that well. Jlaix ended up talking to a girl that was approximately 5’5″ and 250 lbs. All Christophe could say was “she’s not sleeping in our room tonight”.
I took a cab ride back with two of the other students and both students were saying how none of the instructors were that good. One of the students said he didn’t think Christophe talked to any girls the whole time he was there and the other student compared them to another workshop company saying that the other workshop instructors didn’t go for super hot chicks but at least they had some skill compared to the RSD instructors.
So here is where I put in my opinion. I’d say the instructors skill level was very low. I honestly have friends who on their worst nights still do better than any of the instructors were doing which made me very unsatified. Christophe goes in high energy on the girls he talks to and never drops it which I thought was totally a beginner’s mistake. I don’t think any of the instructors were good enough to be teaching guys how to get women. Also, expect to take s**t from the instructors.
They know that 99% of the guys who take these workshops are wimps and don’t stand their ground so they take full advantage of this. On the third night I really didn’t want to go to the Apartment bar for the third night in a row because I wanted to go to a nice venue and see the instructors talk to really hot women. On the third day Mike said we could go someone nice if all the students agreed.
Well, all the students agreed then Mike said how only the instructors know which place is best for the students. The real reason the instructors wanted to go the Apartment bar was because Mike and Jlaix wanted cheap drinks. Every night they drank and Jlaix even mentioned to me about how cool it was that they had $2 St. Pauly Girl beer.
Overall I think the students got very little value out of the workshop. All most of them did was go into set for a few minutes and then leave. Another things the instructors do is say that they make barely any money off of these workshops and that they just do it for the students which is completely off.
The CEO Nick wears $800 D & G shoes from what I’ve heard and I know someone else who saw the other CEO Tyler (Owen) with 4 full shopping bags of clothes in his hands after shopping at Melrose in L.A. which is extremely expensive. After the workshop I talked to Tyler about the issues I had with the workshop and he said he was going to call some of the students to verify it and get back to me but he never did, even after I tried to contact him several times after.

No my main problem is their irresponsible, scattered, vague, and sometimes triffling advice has caused me a lot of problems and isolation along with my success. I live in a small town and well, most of my social circle has been dessimated and the only time I can basically pull at this point is when i just fall into some sort of a zone and am not worried about anything, that rare time when some things just come together. Every other time I either come off as a juvinille asshole, a shallow horny loser, or incongruent with all scattered bits and pieces they throw at ya that are nothing more than bait to fuck your game up so you have to take their BC. Didn’t use to have any of these sticking points back when I was into some of the older models.
They did help my inner game though, but that was mostly just from getting use to doing crazy things no matter what others think and getting use to others being pissed or hating me. After a while though that gets old, you kinda remember you got into this to make friends — not a bunch of enemies. Of course now I am good at not giving a sweet shit, so props to them for teaching me that. Of course then RSD throws out concepts like “the power of now” and the “positive thinking” (this is just a way for them to control forum posts) — but how does that fit with not giving a fuck?? (RSD advice) How do those things mix with getting in fights for your honor as a man (RSD advice), calling people bitches and talking smack like Jeffy or Ciaran (RSD), or rambling on and on over-analyzing everything like Tyler? Do you see how their bs can fuck with a guys head? It can happen to you my friend. Trust me. Your not going to be able to beat it. I tried.
Im just pissed and fed up with all the bs I had to go through with them and trying to save other guys the trouble, or at least the guys who have the self respect NOT to put up with their shit. Lots of very terrible advice floating around on that forum, and the gems are hard to spot.
In the end you have to OWN your results, no matter what they are. They can have a way of sticking with you, no matter what others say.
Ultimately your destiny getting involved with them comes down to you being pissed at some point and really having no one else to blame but yourself if you have seen the warning signs. I took the time to lay them for you all…..now you can all go fuck yourselves.

“I am going to try and make this review of my experience of the Real Social Dynamics workshop as unbiased as possible and let you decide come to your own conclusions.
The instructors for this workshop were Mike, Jlaix (Jeffy) and Christophe. The first night the instructors told us it was going to be nothing but approaching. I wasn’t looking forward to this considering that going into the workshop I had done over a 1,000 approaches (which is over 20x more than any of the other students). Since the workshop was held in my hometown Chicago I suggested that we head off to a bar called the Apartment.
When we get there Jlaix asked anyone if they want drinks and orders one for himself. He makes me open a set which I do and afterward he says I did really well so the rest of the workshop he’s pretty much off my back about approaching except maybe 4 other times. The entire reason I took this workshop was to see the instructors game, not to approach.
The entire night I continue to pick Jlaix’s brain because I think he’s got phenomenal game even though I haven’t seen him ever open a set and I try to get him to approach the whole night. I eventually get Jlaix and Christophe to open a set and I sit one foot away from them to listen. From my perspective Jlaix’s girl looks into him for the first three minutes or so and Christophe, for whatever reason, stops talking to his girl. Soon after the girls go to the bathroom.
The set lasted about 5 minutes. At the end of the night we debriefed in a pizza place and Mike was reading off of a card what we need to do better next time. That was day 1. On day 2 the instructors stated that the goal was for the students to use a routine stack. We went to the same bar, the Apartment, and I once again was forced to do very little which was fine by me as long as the instructors approached.
The only thing I had to do this was reopen the same girl with the same opener about 4 times which was no problem. Jlaix was testing my anxiety and persistence and thought the girls might become more into me if I looked like I didn’t give a f.
At one point in the night every student was with Christophe and I realized no one had any idea where Jlaix or Mike were. They had been gone at least half an hour. I asked Christophe where they were and he didn’t know so he had the other students open sets while he and I went out on a mission to find them. We went upstairs and found them in a corner laughing with drinks in their hands and having a good time.
Christophe started screaming at them and they replied that they were opening sets for students. There were clearly no students around them or even on the same floor as them and there were clearly no girls near them. At the end of the night when we debriefed one of the students flipped out that Mike and Jlaix were gone so long and Mike replied that he was doing demos then the student yelled out “Bulls**t!” and they had nothing to say back.
These debriefs were all held in the same pizza place which was a very public setting were people could hear us talk about game. That night one guy who was not in the workshop and was eating at the pizza place yelled out “I have a question” to Jlaix and Jlaix responded “Yes, you’re fat”. The guy, who was about twice Jlaix’s size, then charged at Jlaix and shoved him in the chair he was sitting in so hard that Jlaix got knocked right into the wall and broke the chair he was sitting in into 3 pieces.
The cops then came but Jlaix didn’t press charges so it was a very short dispute. The past 2 days the instructors had said that the third day would be all demos so I was reallllllly looking forward to this day.
Before we headed out I mentioned to Jlaix and Mike about how they were gone so long last night and they claimed they couldn’t remember this. They didn’t deny it or accept it. They claimed they just couldn’t remember. I assumed that either they were lying or they had drinken too much last night or a combination of both. Background:
I had signed up with a company named Real Social Dynamics, who teach men how to connect with women in the dating scene on deeper levels, or to “pick up” on women.
The course basically consisted of going to public venues with the instructors for most of the day and ending usually at 2:30 – 3:00 at night/early morning. During this time, they would force me into groups of people.
I was clearly tricked into this by their marketing techniques and false internet advertising. I had signed up for their most expensive package which included three days and nights of personal one-on-one coaching.
Before signing up, I carefully read the itinerary on their web site. Their introduction and main pages state that students will learn:
o “How to Convert the Girl You’ve Been Particularly Interested In, From Friendship to Intimacy.”
o “How to Properly Use Phone Conversations with Women to Your Advantage.”
o “What Works in the Field and How You Can See a LIVE Demonstration of Successful Approaches with a Well-Trained Wingman.”
o “How to Plan Dates That are Cost-Free, and Far More Fun For the Girl Than Any Standard Date.”
o “How to Cultivate an Endless Repertoire of Humour and Conversational Topics.”
o “Field-Tested Tips for Bars, Colleges, and Even the Most Exclusive Social Circles.”
o “This is direct instruction of exactly how to do it. This has never been done before. Nobody else has the ability nor skill to attract women with this level of consistency or predictability.”

However, during the course, none of the above points were covered.
Second, the instructors themselves did not display any kind of mastery that the itinerary outlines. The instructors could talk to women and get their attention, but that was the extent of their objective knowledge. Sometimes, while running their material, the people would simply be non-responsive and have confused looks on their faces. On the first night, we approached a group of one guy and two other girls. The instructor Owen (PKA TylerDurden) did manage to isolate the first girl while I interacted with the two friends. During that time, he was trying hard to convince her to come back to the house with us, using normal everyday, yet hopeless rhetoric. Given that this woman wasn’t even very attractive, I was surprised to find us going home by ourselves.
Third, none of what they did was objectively result-oriented. Almost every approach would consist of me going up to a group, stating a conversational opening line or story, and then the instructor I was with would come to us 30 seconds later and continue the conversation. Afterwards the instructors would try to drive the conviction into me that the girls “were so interested in you” based on even a frivolous small glance or hesitation on their part which could have signified many different things. Then the cycle repeated.
Fourth, the course was unorganized. On the second day Nick Kho and another instructor gave me the first lecture based on a вЂcheat sheet’ they handed out. This document was filled with abbreviations, acronyms, and incomplete sentences that assumed that the reader had a knowledge of what all these meant. Through the lecture, he would explain once what they signified, but afterwards did not volunteer to go through it with us again. Furthermore, I was delayed three times on a time span of two months in excess of the original time I planned on taking it.
By the end of the course, not only did my attitude or knowledge of social dynamics not change at all, but on the contrary, after seeing a lack of both professionalism and effectiveness on the instructors’ behalf, my beliefs in socializing worsened. I can honestly say that I am both worse off and monetarily down after taking this class. They did not demonstrate mastery of the skills they offer to teach. They are frauds with cunning advertising. I did not see any results on their behalf or my own.

I find this totally fascinating. I’m female (seems I’m the odd one out on this site!), I’m not a geek but I do have problems meeting guys. I don’t think I’d actually be able to use any of this, but it’s really interesting!

I like VA and the “new model” that they teach now, which is the old MM but expanded, much more fluid, versatile and attribute based.
I also like everything Sinn has to say (his blog is gold) and his knowledge on framing, SNLs and comfort.
I also like RSD a lot, specially I think Blueprint Decoded has been very good for my inner game and the way I live my life in general. I don’t care whether they came up with the concepts or just ripped them off of self help books, I don’t care if the instructors have skill or not. The concepts help me and I just take that.
Other guys I like is Juggler and his easy attitude and charm, Hypnotica, AFC Adam…
There are good resources out there that can make your life better. But in the end they are only resources, you have to make your own judgements for yourself and see the world through your own eyes.

Listen I have friends that are gay, I don’t have any animosity towards gay people and that quote was not any type of gay hate or coming from anger at all, not in the least bit.
Sometimes when I get off on a ramble I tend to exaggerate, but I can tell you that many many many people agree with me that the method is flamboyant and that the women and men think that Mehow is gay when they see him in the field.
I don’t make this point because I have a problem with people who act gay, or who are gay. I find them entertaining, friendly, and able to hold very intelligent conversations. So please dont take it personally man.

Anyways I am going to basically stop posting at this point. It is true that I have said all I have to say on a wide range of topics about the community and many of it’s guru’s.
I think it is very obvious that those marketing powers and their brainwashed followers do see me as an obvious threat at this point, because over several posts they have continued to try to set the frame that I am insane or something, despite my very rational and extremely detailed and thought provolked posts that elaborate the pitfalls.
I want to re-iterate to EVERYONE that I do think there is value in being a part of this community, but just please be aware that these people can only make money if they get you to stop believing in YOURSELF and to start worshipping them. Many of them use very advanced tactics that took me hundreds of ebooks, a lot of practice, and tons of listening to material to finally be able to recognize. Because I can recognize this stuff I FINALLY am unable to be manipulated or influenced by other people in any solid way.
When I log off this site I am completely unaffected by what goes on here or anywhere else. I try to contribute on forums in any way I can and have intelligent conversations about things when I can.
I think the best advice I can give to new people is to be VERY VERY Cautious. You dont know the shit they can do to mess with your head and fuck you up yet, be aware that they are trying to game you just as much as they are trying to game a chick.
If you want to truely become a better and more attractive person in all this, make sure to stay true to your principles, only take what makes sense to you, take guru suggestions with a grain of salt no matter how compelling, and get out there and find what works for you and what gets you the results ON YOUR OWN. Trust the field — as mystery said. Also look to cultivate yourself and your personality and get a better understanding of YOURSELF. Don’t try to be someone else and dont ever let someone convince you that you must be like them and pay them money and be their clone to have success.
It’s also good to look at advice from both inside and outside the community for a truely balanced view and to never get caught up in being a die hard groupie to any one cause.
I hope that you all avoid the pitfalls that I have brought to your attention and are able to keep a compass on you at all times, it’s easy to get lost out there in those rough waters.
