This is an interesting question with an even more interesting answer.
One
of the most popular forms of psychotherapy involves helping the client
change their belief system in order to deal with situations in
different ways. I have actually been working on a new method that is
more direct. I won’t go into all of this here as it’s far too
complicated and involved for the subject. However, here are some basic
steps you can use right now in order to begin this process:
1) Start with the end in mind.
In
other words, what outcome do you want? It’s not enough to simply say "I
want to meet chicks." Instead, you have to be very specific here and do
the same type of work you’d do with your goals. You can say something
like, "I will [note the positive, present tense in the statement] meet
5 women that fit my type in the next 30 days." You also have to
determine your "type" which you will from BAM1.
2) Visualize how your life will be different when you’ve reached your goal.
Can
you imagine what changes will occur in your life when you’ve
accomplished this? You absolutely must! Try to picture the positive
feelings of having 5 women’s numbers that want you to call them.
Imagine the calmness you’ll feel in relieving the tension from your
goal. By setting a goal like this, you create tension. That’s
important. By reaching it, you relieve this tension. That’s important
too. Work on imagining how you’ll feel, how things will look and even
how the world sounds when you’ve accomplished your goal! Focus on the
fact that you’re changing fundamentally simply in reaching your goal.
It’s that very change that’s critical. Once you change, you’ll never go
back to being the way you were before.
3) Turn up these feelings.
It’s
not enough to simply say, "Ok, I feel this way – that’s nice." You now
need to amplify them and feel them throughout your body. You need to
visualize the positive impact of reaching your goal and actually enjoy
the success – even though you haven’t yet reached it. Continue to do
this at least twice every day for the next week. More often and longer
is even better.
Think of this as a reward for having set the
goal in the first place. Reward yourself by imaging all the good things
you deserve as having already come to you and think deeply of the
person you’ll become through it. Don’t just feel good about the goal,
feel good about whom you’ve become in reaching the goal. The difference
is critical.
4) Project those feelings into action.
Before
you set out to actually accomplish your goal, "project forward" into
time that feeling of accomplishment. Get excited about achieving that
first (or next) step along your way. Actually see [through your own
eyes] that experience of accomplishing the first step. Imagine how
confident and centered you’ll feel because you’ve done it. Then, get
excited about the next step. Use the feelings of excitement to create
enthusiasm in your goal and continue to spur you on.
5) Continue to act until you reach your goal.
Don’t
give up. Continue your actions until you reach your goals. Give
concerted effort to accomplishing them, but don’t beat your head
against a wall. If your plans don’t help you get where you want to go,
then find new plans. Write your goals in concrete – they are never
changing; but write your plans in sand. The methods you use to
accomplish your goals aren’t important. Accomplishing them is!
6) Reward yourself for each accomplishment – even small ones.
These
rewards don’t have to be huge but they should have meaning. In other
words, it’s ok to tell yourself, "Good job!" and to feel that reward.
Likewise, as you continue along in accomplishing your goals, it’s ok -
and even good – to reward yourself in other ways too.
7) Don’t fail to set your next goal before you’re finished with the first!
This
is important. If you don’t set the next goal and try to ride the high
of accomplishing the first, you’ll never get very far. You want to
constantly be moving in the direction of your bigger, more important
goals by setting smaller ones short-term. Each step along the way gets
you closer to your big goals, but you need to see the next step before
you get to the end of the current one. In effect, these smaller goals
overlap into accomplishing your bigger goals. Your bigger goals overlap
into accomplishing your ultimate goals, and finally your ultimate goals
overlap into accomplishing your life’s plan.

It sparked a desire to “understand the urban context of the UAE,” and AlMoosawi set out to meticulously document and capture these underappreciated buildings, “and reimagine the city as if it were the ‘80s, the time when I was born.”

Initially focusing on industrial landscapes, temporary structures and air conditioning units, he began to notice symmetry in many of the buildings he was photographing, inspiring his current project: facades.
“Facades are like a face,” said AlMoosawi. “It’s something that people connect with.”
His bold, geometric images strip away context to spotlight the character and diversity of everyday buildings. Using a telephoto lens to shoot close-ups from the ground or elevated positions, AlMoosawi carefully frames out distractions and sometimes removes minor obstructions like lampposts in post-processing.

Swedish photographer Christian Aslund is riding a small boat along the coast of Spitsbergen, an island in the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. Here, deep into the Arctic Circle and midway between Norway and the north pole, he is investigating the health of the glaciers, by comparing them to what they looked like in archival photos.
He takes a picture, trying to place his boat in the exact position occupied by an explorer who took a similar photograph over 100 years ago. But the difference is striking: in the shot from 1918, the boat is heading towards a massive glacier. In the image Aslund took in 2024, he is heading toward what looks like almost bare land.
The comparison is part of a series that Aslund worked on in collaboration with the Norwegian Polar Institute and Greenpeace, to document the retreat of Svalbard’s glaciers over the last century. He visited the area twice — in 2002 and in 2024 — and picked which sites to photograph based on historical images that he found in the institute’s archives.
“In 2002, the widespread knowledge, or acceptance, of climate change wasn’t as broad as it is now,” Aslund says. He published the first set of photos over 20 years ago to create awareness of how much the glaciers were receding. But to his surprise, he received some comments suggesting that the images had been “Photoshopped,” that the glaciers were just expanding and contracting naturally, or that he had taken the pictures in the summer and compared them to archival shots taken in the winter: “But they are not — if you look at at the archive photos, you see that they don’t have any sea ice and not enough snow on the mountains (for it to be winter). And also, in the winter, it’s permanently dark.”
In the summer of 2024, he decided to return, taking pictures at the exact same locations as before. “I had a feeling that the glaciers would have receded even more,” he says, “and that was confirmed. We wanted to show that these glaciers are not going back and forth. They are constantly being pulled back by a warming climate. It’s a major difference.”
The Arctic has been warming twice as fast as the rest of the world since the year 2000, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, but according to other estimates it has warmed even more — four times faster than the global average since 1979. NASA says summer Arctic sea ice is shrinking by 12.2% per decade due to warming temperatures.

Из “Гермеса” получил через деньги через схему p2p — так, мол, консультант “Гермеса” ему рекомендовал, “чтобы не платить комиссию”. При выводе средств Голубев получил больше, чем ранее положил на счет. Голубев решил выйти также из кооператива, так как написал заявление — но деньги получил из-за ареста счетов только в этом году. Предъявляет претензии к тому, что денег пришлось ждать три года, хотя они не выплачивались из-за ареста счетов и позиции следствия и прокуратуры, состоящей в том, что выплаты должны быть запрещены даже пайщикам, выходящим из кооператива: арест счета — не препятствие для таких выплат, если оно санкционировано следствием и прокуратурой. Голубев при этом требует вернуть вступительный и членские взносы, так как “кооператив нарушил условия соглашения”. При этом изначально ему был присвоен статус потерпевшего, в суде же он выступал уже в статусе свидетеля. Таких “потерпевших”, как Голубев, немало, отмечают адвокаты: так, одна из пайщиц на недавнем заседании обвинила кооператив в том, что он ей не выплатил средства по заявлению о выходе, в то время как она сама систематически отказывается подтвердить реквизиты для перечисления средств, получает письма из кооператива, отправляет уведомления о прочтении, но не отвечает на них. Состоялось долгожданное разбирательство по апелляционному представлению Прокуратуры Санкт-Петербурга на решение Приморского районного суда Санкт-Петербурга полностью снять арест с одного из трех счетов кооператива, на которых почти 4 млрд рублей. Сейчас кооператив распоряжается только вновь поступившими на эти счета средствами — за счет этих средств происходят выплаты пайщикам, написавшим заявление о выходе из кооператива, при этом темп выплат крайне низкий из-за проверок каждого платежа Росфинмониторингом и банками. Кроме того, по решению суда происходят выплаты с арестованных средств по исполнительным листам тем пайщикам, кто решил не ждать выплат, а предъявил и выиграл иски к кооперативу о возврате средств, а также налогов кооператива и зарплаты его персоналу. Кооператив ходатайствовал перед судом о полном снятии ареста с одного из счетов кооператива — самых маленьких, в банке ПСБ, на более чем 600 млн рублей, чтобы гарантированно рассчитаться со всеми примерно 2000 пайщиков, которые подали заявление о выходе из кооператива, — не зависеть от возвратных платежей в кооператив, которые из-за ареста счетов были затруднены и сейчас осуществляются с задержками — с которыми кооператив борется, но быстро эти платежи в нужном объеме вряд ли сможет получить. Решение суда первой инстанции о снятии ареста было в апреле, назначение рассмотрения апелляции в Санкт-Петербургском городском суде крайне затянулось из-за того, что прокуратура добавила к основному апелляционному представлению дополнительное — рассмотрение состоялось только в начале июля. При этом уже в самом заседании прокуратура добавила новые доводы, заявив, что в реестре выплат, представленном кооперативом еще в начале 2025 года, из 773 строк по пайщикам, которым произведены выплаты, имеются 14 строк, в которых фигурирует один из подсудимых — Выдрин, а также 13 лиц, которые назывались лицами, признанными потерпевшими, в рамках уголовного процесса как лица, которым передавались деньги для компании “Гермес”. Прокуратуру возмутило то, что лица, которые, возможно, виновны в хищениях, получили средства раньше лиц, признанных потерпевшими. При этом Выдрин написал заявление о выходе из кооператива еще до того, как был привлечен в уголовное дело, и ни на какие его активы арест не накладывался. Санкт-Петербургский городской суд согласился с доводами прокуратуры, отменив решение суда первой инстанции в части снятия ареста со счета — при этом он не подверг сомнению тезис, на котором было основано это решение Приморского районного суда: несоразмерность общей суммы ущерба в уголовном деле — 282 млн рублей и общей суммы арестованных средств только кооператива как гражданского ответчика по данному уголовному делу — почти 4 млрд рублей (при этом есть еще аресты средств других лиц). В самом конце июля Приморским районным судом будет уже рассматриваться продление или непродление арестов средств на счетах на новый трехмесячный срок — и кооператив опять будет ходатайствовать о снятии ареста со счета в банке ПСБ. В Приморском районном суде началось также новое гражданское дело — по иску пайщицы кооператива Дорониной к пайщику кооператива, объявляющему себя его альтернативным председателем, Георгию Моисееву, ранее активисту кооператива и координатору программы по проведению региональных митингов в поддержку кооператива. Судебное разбирательство по существу начнется в сентябре, судья потребовал от представителей Моисеева представить первичные документы о якобы проведенном (без решения совета кооператива) голосовании по выборам новых уполномоченных, так как его юрист сообщил, что документы — на кооперативных участках. Председателям самочинных комиссий по перевыборам, якобы прошедшим весной на 13 из 14 кооперативных участков, придется представить первичные документы, бюллетени для голосования, при этом общее число голосовавших должно быть не менее 7,5 тыс., так как в кооперативе — 15 тыс. пайщиков. (На одном из участков — кооперативном участке (КУ) № 7: иркутско-бурятско-забайкальском — группа Моисеева проводить голосование не решилась, так как еще в начале года одна из пайщиц подала против Моисеева иск о незаконных действиях в иркутский суд, который сейчас активно рассматривается.)
