Okay, I know this is a little off-topic, but whatever, it’s my blog! Mwuahahaha!
I saw Batman Begins last night, and all I have to say is…
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the best movie of the summer. Bar none. Forget Star Wars, forget Mr. & Mrs. Smith, forget War Of The Worlds even! Batman Begins is where it’s at!
I’ve always been a big fan of Batman, and I always thought the early Batman movies (even the ones with Adam West and George Clooney) were enjoyable to watch. But Batman Begins has them all beat! This one is the ULTIMATE Batman movie!
I can’t recommend this sucker enough. Even if you’re not a Batman fan, you’re going to love this film. It’s better than Spiderman AND X-Men. I’ll even go so far as to say it’s the BEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER MADE!
When you’re watching it, it’s totally believable that there’s this guy who runs around the city dressed like a bat. There is not a single thing wrong with this film! I wish it had lasted 4 hours instead of just 2.
Everyone out there reading this post, go see Batman Begins! Not now — right now! See it five times. Take dates to it. It’s one of those rare gems where everyone in the audience can get totally into it and have fun.

Dude, I COMPLETELY agree with you. I just seen it about an hour ago. It was AWESOME.
HELL YEAH!! THAT is what BATMAN is SUPPOSED to be like! The movie was MUCH *darker* than the others. Almost scary. That’s the essence of BATMAN!
That’s the best Batman movie of them ALL! Great Plot. Story. Acting. Characters. GREAT EVERYTHING.
I’m going to go back and see it again tonight! And to think that the JOKER is going to be in the NEXT ONE! WOOOO!!
Yeah, they ended it the same way they ended the “Batman Year 1″ comic, setting up the Joker as Batman’s next bad guy.
I can’t wait for that one! The guy they got to play the Scarecrow in this movie was creepy as hell, so I know the guy they’ll get for the Joker is going to be awesome too!
I plan to see this sucker five more times in the theater.

Thundy…is that how you sarge girls! jajajaja…Well I saw the movie las night. It was Awesome and like tingly said…Batman IS Scary…his voice made the theater tremble! Awesome…check it out guys
Very good movie. Especially Bale’s performance was very interesting, he could really show the audience his tormented soul. And ofcourse when he ‘played’ as Bruce Wayne you could see some American Psycho traits in there..very nice. There are many great moments in this movie. Like the backup bats and the whole league of shadows legend. What I really found funny and impressive was Batman’s voice when he picked Mr.Flass from the streets, I was like “damn, that will wake you up in the morning”. The way the fighting sequences were build up was just brilliant. And I think the sound was really good, it gave that extra push. All in all a must see.

Yes, that scene definitely showed the more “taco shy of a combo” side of the Batman character.
Coming from a bat-fan since the tv show in the sixties(I’m 45 now), it’s too bad Bob Kane isn’t around to see his original version finally come to life! This is the definitive Batman movie and probably will be the best because: 1. It finally told the origin story 2.It took the charactor seriously. You could relate with the charactors or at least have some compassion or understanding. Allthough I must say it was a tick too dark and too violent for for the kids(I had my 8 year old son). In order for the following film(s) to not fall into the same Bat-trap as before and have Batman just fight loony criminals, you have to keep the interest in the story line before it gets too typacal.
