How to be a Renegade Killer Bee

Swinggcat came out with a pretty good newsletter recently about how to use Tension Loops in Pick-Up. One of the things I liked about the newsletter was his reference to the movie Kill Bill Vol. 2 (which kicks major ass, by the way =).
Anyway, in the movie, Kill Bill has a cool line about how Uma Thermon is a "Renegade Killer Bee," and it looks like Swinggcat uses that as a metaphor which is bound to replace the staple "Kill the Bunny!" mantra that was popularized by the movie "Swingers" back in the day.

Using Tension Loops In The Real World…Hey Guys,
I just saw Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie, Kill Bill: Volume II. In the movie, the antagonist, Bill, says to the protagonist, The Bride, “You’re not a worker bee…you’re a renegade killer bee.” Since I am always relating everything to men’s success with women, this snippet of dialogue got me thinking: “Women are not attracted to men who are worker bees; they are attracted to renegade killer bees.”
In our culture, unfortunately, most men are worker bees. The vast majority of the male populace spends a great deal of time thinking about how women judge them. This is “worker bee” mentality. The collective male worker bee worries about, for example, “Did she find my jokes funny?” or “Did she find my stories intriguing?” or “Am I tall enough for her?” or “Am I skinny enough for her?” or “Was she offended by the comment I just made”…and so on. Worker bees will even spend a great deal of time trying to win the approval of women lumbered with a heart of dung. My gripe with the “worker bee” mentality is that it conveys to women that a man is not the PRIZE. As those of you who have read my book know: Women are not ATTRACTED to this. Women are ATTRACTED to the renegade killer bee because he is the PRIZE.
Men with “renegade killer bee” mentalities are not concerned with how women judge them. In fact, women often times end up trying to win over their approval. This is because the renegade killer bee has standards women must live up to: Instead of thinking, “Am I good enough for her?” he thinks, “Is she good enough for me?”
All renegade killer bees, furthermore, understand how to generate ATTRACTION in women. They know that ATTRACTING a woman is about being the PRIZE, coupled with making her want and reach for more of them. The art of making a woman want and reach for more of you is what I call PRIZING.
I am about to share a powerful method for PRIZING. But before I do, I want you to stop reading this, and go get a few pieces of paper and a pen.

The method for PRIZING I want to share with you is called “tension loops” (those of you who have read my book or past newsletters might be familiar with “tension loops”).
A tension loop is when you do something to create unresolved emotional tension inside a woman, increase it, release it by bringing closure to it, and then spark it all over again. This will keep her feeling the emotion of wanting and reaching for more of you.
This is the exact structure great movie makers use to keep their audience enraptured for hours. Let’s take a look at the structure of a quality film. It starts off sparking unresolved emotional tension by introducing some kind of conflict or drama. Then this emotional tension increases up until the point of the climax. Then the tension is released by bringing some resolution to the conflict or drama. And, finally, the movie ends by sparking the tension all over again. This makes the audience want to see the sequel.
One of my favorite tension loops to use on a woman is to say to her: “You know what? I don’t like you…because you remind me of Miranda… whom I hated in the second grade…because I was jealous of her…because she used to always beat me at hot hands!” (The pauses between each clause amplify the tension).
Then I will challenge her to a game of hot hands. Since I am very good at the game I almost always win. Next I release the tension by hugging her and telling her, “I love you now.” Finally, I spark the tension all over again by pushing her away and saying, “Because you suck at hot hands.”
Now that you know what a tension loop is, I want you to spend the next fifteen minutes thinking about different ways you could spark tension loops in women. Write all of your ideas down. Seriously, stop reading this and do the exercise.
