Book Review: The Game, by Neil Strauss

Okay, by now I’m sure you’re all curious about the book THE GAME, written by Neil Strauss (aka Style, the most powerful of the Jedi).
I received my advanced copy of the book over Labor Day weekend (since I’m in the book briefly, I was sent one early). The first thing you notice about the book is that it’s not your typical hardback book as you’d expect. The cover is actually thin, flexible, and black, the pages are all edged in gold, and there’s even a thin red cloth bookmark located in the spine. In short, the book looks like the typical Gideon Bible you’d find in a hotel room.
And I must say, it’s quite appropriate.
Move over Lay Guide, so long eBooks, THE GAME is the new bible of the seduction community!
A few chapters into this book, I realized that this wasn’t going to be the “tell-all expose” we all were anticipating. This is a book written by arguably one of the best seducers to ever come out of the community, and in it, he shares everything.
I mean EVERYTHING.
All his teachings, all his tactics, all his theories, all his strategies are all laid bare.
Through the course of the book, we start off by seeing Style go from your Average Frustrated Chump to a full blown Ladies Man, and as he documents his progress, it’s as if you’re right there learning along with him. Because of this, I would go so far as to say that is book is a MUST OWN for anyone out there looking to improve with women.
This isn’t just a story. This is a “how-to guide.” A manual on how to pick up women from the best of the best. Forget Cassanova, forget Don Juan, this is stuff that works now, in this day and age, and is applicable to modern women. Not only that, but it’s all based on the tried and tested techniques of the seduction community.
Style pretty much lays out every form and method of teaching there is. He gives you the full Mystery Method, he shows you Speed Seduction, he explains the Juggler Method, Double Your Dating, and David X style. Pretty much every major school of thought is laid bare in here, which makes it a great all-encompassing reference manual for guys who want to know what teachings are available out there.
In the book, Style also shares posts from the private Mystery’s Lounge message board where some of the greats post their best stuff. This is a good way for the average guy who isn’t privileged enough to be part of this private message board to see some of the advanced teachings and spastic ramblings that are shared there.
Then, Style shows you how he incorporates the best teachings from all his sources and created a system of pick-up that works for him.
This is, bar-none, one of the most complete guides on the subject of seduction I have ever seen. In fact, I’d rate it up there along side Robert Greene’s classic “The Art Of Seduction.”
But the real treat of THE GAME isn’t just it’s wealth of pick-up knowledge. No sir. It’s the inside look you get at the personalities behind these teachings.
The book seems to have two different parts to it. The first part, and most of the early chapters, are devoted to the teachings of pick-up and Style’s own personal learning experiences. The other part of the book is devoted to the experiment known in the community as “Project Hollywood,” where the real human drama of the story unfolds.
The first chapter of the book starts off with a bang as we see Mystery, a man revered by all as one of the greatest teachers of Pick-Up out there, have a nervous breakdown after his girlfriend is stolen by his then close friend, business associate, and roommate, Herbal. Style goes into great detail about how he performs “suicide watch” duties as he drags Mystery to a mental health center.
This is how the book starts. Mystery is a loon.
But no more than two chapters later, we see the flip side of this as Style documents his first meeting of Mystery as the man is at his prime, picking up some of the hottest women in the club (including stealing the girlfriend of a TV celebrity who happened to be there right in front of him) and proving to all that he is, in fact the real deal.
So within the first three chapters of the book, we see Mystery at his worst, and Mystery at his best. They’re two sides of the same coin, but the ones that only his enemies and his fans know.
His students see all his greatness and none of his weakness. His detractors see only his weakness and shun his greatness. In the matter of just a few pages, Style shows us how everyone sees Mystery at a glance.
Then, as the book goes on, the gap between these two extremes is filled and we suddenly see Mystery as his friends see him – a real human being. Black and white suddenly blur into shades of gray, and a true and sympathetic man emerges.
This is where I think it’s important to point out that the concepts and teachings Mystery has innovated are real. They work, no one can deny this. And as you read about Mystery’s low points (and believe me, things get pretty low), it can be easy to doubt the validity of what he teaches.
But as the book goes on and you begin to see the picture Style paints of a truly passionate man who comes from a poor home with an abusive father, you realize that it’s these extremes he endures that make him so brilliant. Sure, he has a massive breakdown and has to be institutionalized for his own safety, but he’s also someone who latches onto crazy ideas and molds them into reality. It’s because of these extremes that Mystery is so charismatic, innovative, and gains the loyalty of those who follow his teachings.
Then there’s Ross Jeffries, the “guru of gash” as he likes to refer to himself in the book. RJ is one of the other major personalities in the story, and I must say, reading what Style has to say about his is extremely eye opening.
If you’re a reader of this blog, you know that there is no love lost between Ross Jeffries and myself. As a former student of his, he kicked and banned me from Speed Seduction when I began to question the validity of his teachings. Since then, I have written a great deal about how unstable, petty, and vindictive a man he is in an attempt to warn others about following what he has to teach.
And though Style shows both sides of Mystery, the good and the bad, the book struggles to show anything good or redeeming about Ross. Upon first meeting Style, Ross treats him like a dick. He pathetically tries to “convert” Style to his cult of Speed Seduction (and I’m not putting my words in here, Style really does refer to it as a cult in the book). We also see RJ try to anchor Style into believing he’s a great seducer, all the while extorting and guilting Style into taking him to trendy Hollywood parties he could never get into by himself.
After a rather embarrassing foray out with Ross, where the man ended up making an ass of himself when he got on all fours and sniffed Carmen Electra’s butt, eventually forcing Style to leave the party early because Ross can’t stay out past 10 o’clock at night (it’s past his beddie-bye), Style vows never to take Ross out to another “cool” party again.
This, of course, does not stop Ross from continuing to harass and guilt Style as he does to so many other people.
The picture Style paints of RJ is not necessarily a bad one. He does document how Ross uses Speed Seduction to get numbers from girls, and he never fully comes out and disrespects Ross. But as you read how RJ acts and what he says to Style, you can’t help but get a glimpse of this guy’s true nature.
And then, of course, there’s the other big personality featured in the book, namely Tyler Durden of Real Social Dynamics fame. And needless to say, Style does not paint a flattering picture of Tyler at all.
It is obvious there was never any real “love connection” between Tyler and Style, but Style makes it a point to document all the creepiness and awkwardness he felt around Tyler as he shows RSD blossom from a copy-cat pick-up workshop into a type of cult very similar to the one found in Fight Club (coincidence? Not likely).
In one particularly telling scene, Style describes the first time he hung out with Tyler while juxtaposing a burlesque dancer Style dated who revealed to him she had herpes. It’s almost as if Style is suggesting that even though on the surface, things can appear beautiful and exotic, on the inside there can be a virus that will end up causing you harm. This bit of symbolism wasn’t lost on me in regards to how it applies to Tyler Durden.
There’s one particular scene towards the end of the book that I can only describe as shocking, in terms of how Tyler really treats other people. I think that once people read this book, they will have a very different outlook on the RSD crew.
There are other community celebrities in the book too, including the usual cast of characters such as David DeAngelo, Juggler, Rick H., Steve Piccus, and various others. Many names were changed, either to protect the innocent or because a character became an amalgamation of more than one person. Some of the fun parts for me was trying to guess who a character really was. (Since I know most of these guys, it wasn’t hard for me)
Because of this, I think it’s important to note that THE GAME isn’t a straight non-fiction book. Not only because certain characters have been changed and combined together, but Style also altered the timeline of certain events to make the book read better.
For instance, my original Top Ten PUA List did not come out while Mystery was in the hospital, it actually came out some time after he was released. Ross didn’t get a certain “nick-name” until I started using it on this site some time after the party which Style took him to in the book. Style’s interview with Tom Cruise actually occurred well into Project Hollywood, not beforehand. These are a few things that aren’t necessarily accurate in terms of the timeline of events, but rest assured that everything in the book did happen in one way or another. I say this not only as a witness to a great many of the events documented, but also from first hand sources who’ve repeated to me pretty much what Style reveals in the novel.
Another great joy in reading this book is hearing about Style’s fumbles with women before he really graduated to PUG (Pick Up Guru) status. These are often very funny, such as seducing one girl back to her hotel room only to be put off by her stinky feet, or trying to get two twin sisters into bed at once by taking a rather awkward bath at their place. These moments aren’t just entertaining, but anyone who’s actually gone out in the field, used these tactics, and tried to get them to work can relate to the crazy things that can happen and go wrong when you’re in the final stretch.
I also think this is great because we get to see that Style was not always the expert seducer he has become. He started out just like a lot of us did, and fumbled and failed before he actually started to taste success. It’s important to note that a lot of guys aren’t willing to go through the “failure” part that’s required to get good. But part of what made Style one of the best was his unwillingness to give up.
Another incredibly entertaining aspect of the book comes when Style actually BECOMES good, and is forced to deal with certain obstacles. For instance, there’s a chapter in the book where Style goes head-to-head in a “PUA Showdown” with Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss. It’s incredibly entertaining to see Heidi try and cockblock Neil when he’s picking up women, and in return see Neil fight back with PUA tactics that keep Hedi from turning seducing the girls into prostitution.
Then there’s another celebrity showdown with actor Andy Dick, where Style has to keep Andy from stealing his date by whipping out some massive value demonstrations to re-win the attention of his star-struck girl. Of course, this works a little TOO well when Andy Dick, so won over by Style’s tight game, actually propositions him for a little homosex action. (note: Style politely declined)
In fact, there are an awful lot of celebrity cameos in the book. In addition to Heidi Fleiss and Andy Dick, we’re also treated to people such as the likes of Paris Hilton (who Papa sarges and gets a number close with), Brittany Spears (who Style actually number closes after running some game on her), and of course, Courtney Love (who is actually a resident of Project Hollywood for a time).
But probably the most fascinating cameo of all is that of A-List Super-Duper-Movie-Star Tom Cruise, who in a strange way becomes Style’s new guru after he’s reached the pinnacle of PUA-dom and offers him sage advice that ends up saving Style’s soul at the end of the book.
Which brings me to the next part of the review, which is that Style goes into great detail about the dangers and pitfalls the pick-up lifestyle presents those who get involved in it. He shows how addicting it can be, and how some guys can get lost in it, forsaking friends, family, jobs, fortunes, education, and sometimes even personal health in an obsession to become a “master seducer.”
Not only that, but he talks about how easy it is to have your views on women shift to the point where you actually start resenting them. At some point, Style reveals, pick-up becomes about the process instead of the end result. The girl becomes secondary to the technology, and the mindset of manipulation is truly the path to the dark side.
Now, despite all of what I’ve written above, what I am about to reveal next is probably the single, most important lesson Style could ever teach any student or any man who wants to experience true happiness with women. It’s pretty much the moral of the book, the heart of the story, and the greatest thing anyone could possibly learn in dealing with women.
This is Style’s greatest discovery, and the reason why he deserves the title “The most powerful of the Jedi.”
And the funny thing is, it’s not an opener, or a routine, or a neg, or a pattern, or a value demonstration, or a value elicitation, or a cold reading, kiss close, phase shift, and any other piece of jargon you can think of.
It’s a simple truth that most men will discover when they reach a certain point.
We all got into the learning of seduction and pick-up for one reason. Maybe initially it was to “get more sex,” but after adding a few notches to your belt, that falls by the wayside. What we really get into this field of study for is to procure female companionship. Be it a girlfriend or a wife, we all ultimately want a woman who we can be happy with.
You can learn everything there is to know about pick-up and seduction, but at some point when you’re with a woman, you’re going to run out of material and have to start being yourself.
This is where the PUA mentality has its greatest shortcoming.
In the book, when Style finally meets his ideal woman, he suddenly finds himself in uncharted territory. When all his tricks and strategies fail, he’s forced lay everything on the line and just start being himself. The message is clear: Pick up is easy, Relationships are hard.
In the case of Mystery, we see a man who can generate incredible attraction in women almost instantly, but can’t hold onto a girl to save his life. With Ross, we see a guy who can maybe get a phone number, but never a date. With Tyler, we have a person who enjoys the process of seduction so much, that when it comes time to close the deal, he chickens out.
At some point, if you want to really get to the end game, you have to stop being a Pick-Up Artist and become a Man. Here is where Style’s greatest teaching lies…
“To win the game, you have to leave it.”
Simple, yet profound.
If any of us ever get to a point where we’ve done our work, we’ve picked up tons of women and finally found one we liked, we have to stop with all the attraction theory and go for the relationship we ultimately crave. This means making a commitment, not only to the woman you love, but to yourself — that you’ve achieved your goal and you are allowed to be happy.
Being with a beautiful woman does not solve any problems. Too often, guys think that having a hot chick in their bed will make them happy. But as Style proves in his book, it doesn’t. What makes a man happy is achieving his goal and accepting his success, and knowing when it’s time to move on and mature.
This is Style’s greatest gift to the community. This idea. This concept. And for that, we should all be forever thankful.
The Game should be a must-have book for every man out there. I can’t recommend it strongly enough. You should get a copy and read it three times, cover to cover. You will not find better teachings anywhere than what’s in this book.
I guarantee it.

Oh BTW, I’ll be at the book signing on the 14th, in case any of you want to suck my dick.

This is SPG. Thundercat has my permission to verify this publicly, but not pubically. Ray Gordon – whoever the hell he is, (and why would he consider himself important enough to deserve ‘verification’?)has my express invitation to have sex with himself.
“Game” with women doesn’t come from a book, or an ebook, or CDs, or a seminar, or some Internet message board. The cult of the “seduction community” deserves to be exposed. Style isn’t trashing the community, because the so-called “seduction community” does a perfectly good job of trashing itself. Style just opens the creepshow to public scrutiny.
You can go back to you manic obsession with “openers,” “routines,” and “subcomminication” now.
So what if my game consists of getting wasted and singing monster ballads at the local dive bar?
Haven’t you seen my girlfriend Chessclub? If you can look past her double chin and little dumpy body, she would be cute, right?
I want you guys to like me. Please come to my bootcamp in San Francisco, and we can run game on some single mothers.

what?
Steve P and Rasputin = Steve Piccus and Hypnotica
Opinions. They are all opinions & we are all very far from the truth.
Perhaps many of you realize, from time to time, in between your pathological self-righteousness that no piece of knowledge is certain or absolute as experienced from this “mortal coil”.
Perhaps some of us should tattoo a “post-it” on our forehead(s) only to remind others and do them a favour:
“One thing only I know, and that is that I know nothing.” -Socrates
And in thirty years we might be hearing from DD, RJ, or whoever it is. Only this time time expressing the very antitheses to their old beliefs. Why?
1)EVERYTHING IS REFUTABLE (even this)
2)HUMANS COMPENSATE
3)HUMANS LIKE TO FORGET
How many corporate, ex-hippies out there?
How many nerds turned to bad boys? At least a big chunk of DD followers I’m sure…
And that’s OK:
Perhaps life’s trick is to have us live in contradiction only to humble us and cure our swollen ego. Hmmm… Inspiring.
At one point or another ALL OF YOU change your attitudes drastically towards everything you know and feel. Nothing will be eternal: No philosophy, no scientific find, no experience: NOTHING! And why try and make it eternal!?
(but you will try)
that’s all folks,

Wow, can’t ya just feel the venom in this thread. I love it. More, more, more!!!
Ok, time to add my bit…
The most insightful thing Ray Gordon has written so far:
>>>I once had a friend…
John Truth, there is only room for one Truth on this seduction board, and I am him….j/k bro.
You posted some interesting insights. Perhaps the cult of Truth will start to overtake the boards.
Keep up the entertaining posts. I think some are a little out there, but it’s entertaining…..

Hmmmm….
If guys who read this book, and decide to seek out more information about getting their act (and game) together – and decide to visit this web site and read this blog… they’ll probably go back to the bookstore – demand their money back – and come to the conclusion that the people who are actually into this, are completely nuts – and run screaming into the night.
So much infighting and back-stabbing. Is this the picture you guys wanted to end up displaying when you first had the desire to improve yourself, and then actually had the genuine desire to show what you had learned with others?
No one expects anyone to be perfect… and everyone has set-backs and challenges to overcome. But celebrate your successes and share your knowledge with others in a positive way.
alright fucks..
i mean folks..
I got a line for you. Who lies more, keyboard jockeys or seduction gurus?
Shark rules! Just kidding, I rule, FOOLS! Foolzzzz. badboy too.
TD to me is like dexter holland from the offspring. that’s how i see, subjectively.. high energy stuff though, i like his speed
gunwitch, your method was measurably successful in getting iois, but i was seduced by some side, whether dark or other.. anyway it was a wild ride
zarathustra, zarathustra- thou goest amongs women- do not forget thy WHIP!
mystery, the humanity! the humanity, you have both my awe and admiration, magician.
I’m sorry about katya. such happens to he who puts his heart out in the world..
sometimes emotions are hard to control. remember my cousin? ever see her out in LA. what stories! life is wierd and inter-connected
it’s all about meeting. a meeting of the minds and a meeting of the bodies. both are required for any good relationship.
david d pisses me off because he’s aloof. when will he be dragged into the mud. Will he always get off easy, always be one step ahead. No, more power to him, i aint jealous.. but at the same time me no under hiz spell. I am my own thinker and my own prover..
goes for the lot of you.
zarathustra- thou goest amongs women, do not forget thy whip.
one step ahead! I’m going to bed
John Truth, to put it bluntly: You’re wrong.
Kuhn’s paradigm shifts does NOT include the loss of scientific finds. We’re continually extending the scientific finds. What happens is that we part by part refine our *models*, giving more precise predictions.
Physics is an easy example. We refined our predictions from Newton’s theory of gravity – a degenerate case of General Relativity – to General Relativity. However, if I’m going to calculate something reasonably simple – say, the pull of the earth from the sun to ten decimal places – I’ll use Newton’s theory of gravity. Everyday, I can usally just use Ugh the Caveman’s theory of gravity: “Things fall down. Heavy things hit harder.” Newton’s theory and General Relativity are *refinements*.
As you see, you’re somewhat subtly completely wrong here, missing the entire process. It may be a comfort that the misunderstanding is common.

My copy arrived Today…An extremely compelling read. I am sure their is so literary license being used, but it reads very well.’
As for selling ou the community. That is BS. Guys who use standard trite techniques qill have to evolve new ones. Guys who have game based on interal fundamentals won’t even be affected.
It might even HELP. Women who read this and are more attuned to the social dynamics of pickup. Personally I think with this increase in their social EQ it will help us. It’s not like they are out to thwart all of us from having sex LOL.
“One thing I noticed early from my own writing is that my readers would begin discussing my concepts on the boards, to the point where people forgot where they originated. I’ve seen this happen with other gurus, most notably Tyler. Many of his ideas were revolutionary at the time he posted them, and then people now are acting like they weren’t even his. He definitely got the shaft in that regard.”
I disagree. I don’t think Tyler came with a single original idea. All I noticed him doing was coining new overly complicated names for ideas that had already been discussed by the players before him.%
“As for selling ou the community. That is BS. Guys who use standard trite techniques qill have to evolve new ones. Guys who have game based on interal fundamentals won’t even be affected.”
If by ‘integral fundamentals’ you mean looks, height power and/or money, then you’re right. If you mean actual knowledge of social interaction, how is that going to help the average or below average guy, when every other guy, including the ones with the above qualities, also has this knowledge and learns how to use it?
What will happen when you try to apply group theory, for example? Don’t you think that guys/UGs/HBs will know what you’re trying to do, and maybe learn how to counteract you? What’s going to substitute that all of a sudden?
One more thin, if one does discover a way around thins that don’t longer work, what’s going to be the motivation for coming back to the sites and sharing it? What’s the point if it’s going to be exposed by some asshole again?
the one thing that the book shows that can never be countered even if people know all the techs is the mind frame that men need to have. Confidence and Knowing what they want. The outer game can change but the inner game of the player has been the same thru the ages.
The Game allways changes but not the real player. The Player is still the player because he will always learn or invent new rules to stay in the game. THis is somethings fools like gordan that speak of the end, do not know.
I love the Book and if it changes things it will change them for the best.

Ray – so what should I say in my call today to this hooters girl? You seem pissed about everything, and frankly I tend to agree with you the book The Game is not a net positive – the only saving grace is that it it CURRENTLY only a book. Thus people need to read it………also most guys, especially decent looking ones, think this is all silly – they don’t TRUST the stuff. All in all the book hurts I agree.
Got another number last night from HB russian in a group of 5 guys. I would NEVER have done that without this stuff.
Almost forgot – daytraders did change the market in 2000. This is something I know about more then anyone on this board – I would think. I run a rather large mutual fund – and I will tell you beginning in 1997 with the Internet and day traders, the stock market game has CHANGED. It also crashed for a bit and will likely CRASH again……..you see daytraders equal bad money and in all panics/bubbles bad money always chases out smart or good money. Read any book on the history of financial bubbles.
So unfortunately your analogy to daytrades, if true could really kill this game. Again I hope it doesn’t because anyone with half a brain and average looks can use this to great success.
Thundercat,
please make a new and fresh thread, these comments are getting difficult to follow
Ray – I am not a bad guy. I am not wall street scum, I run a very conservative and responsible fund and I care about my customers. You can say what you want but I do and the people in my community know it.
Your view of daytraders as being good for liquidity is way off, there is enough liquidity at GS, BS, MS etc…all the big Wall Street houses. day traders don’t help – and frankly they hurt guys like you because they make you believe in instant profits without doing real work. But I digress this is not a site on wall street or day trading, but again I know that topic very very well.
I will check out your site. I am not trying to agrue with anyone here, god you guys have knowledge that I am saying works and I continued to get slammed!
As far as my ethics go, they are beyond reproach.
by the way, who is this Ray Gordon ?, I have never heard of him
I will have to disagree with most of you guys that say this book is going ruin things. Hell no…its like the gym or martial arts u still have to go all out to get results and most are too scared to do so. I’m talking about real results. Results that last a life time.
As far as most of you guys who think I’m just an average looking guy..well that also bullshit……
Stunning Looks + Seduction Techniques = more fun:)
“david d pisses me off because he’s aloof. when will he be dragged into the mud. Will he always get off easy, always be one step ahead.”
Mystery made a post in the Lounge once that he wanted to get David D. more field experience. No one ever seems to question how much field David D. has under his belt. I guess when you stay mainstream, people accept your word as gospel.
Ray – I don’t understand why you are so mad at me. Not sure what I did to you but compliment you.
As for the hooters girl I am not clueless I just screwed a situation up big time. Its not like this is basic now – 1. i did number close 2. i find out i could have f closed that day 3. i blew her off and didnt call for 4 days 4. i called two days ago and revived it 5. i need one more call to smooth things over and close. I am not fixated on her at all, I was having fun and now I figure why waste it.
I can number close chicks as well, frankly that is useless IMHO. And strippers are the easiest because all you have to do is act opposite of every other loser in the place. As a group stripper chicks are as screwed up as they come, you show them any sort of real ‘love or interest’ and they are yours.
Again – not trying to argue with you. Be well I am sorry I posted here in the first place.
Learn to ignore RG’s posts, not respond to them. Also, learning what kj-ing is and don’t become one!
Yawn, this whole thread is lame. Style wrote a book, so now a load of pussies can have an excuse not to approach.
“Oh, I can’t do an opinion opener, she might think I’m hitting on her.”
Then there’s all the bitchy in fighting. Mystery, Tyler, Gunwitch, Ross, Shark, Badboy all can help your game. Why, because they’ll make you approach.
You’ll all like a bunch of girls bitching over who said what and why. Get over it… Sheesh.
I told you so about Tyler.
I TOLD YOU SO ABOUT TYLER.
I TOLD YOU SO ABOUT TYLER.
Just thought it bore repeating.
Good one Ross, I mean Paul. I am glad you told us so. I am still waiting for your apocalyptic biblical threats to come true. You are no better than TD Ross. Don’t kid yourself Ross, even though TD is on the hot seat, he is still much more respected than you are. Even in the Game book you look more insane than TD. So, go back to the UK, or to your foxhole and study magikal spells or whatever it is that you do.
The Sky is falling, the sky is falling..
This book is going to mean we can no longer use tactics to get women like dressing up as a woman! Like herbal T! Yeah… lol
want to make shark laugh. tell him one guy to pull women goes in drag! what a fag!
that’s not peacocking. that’s total excusing bs. that’s not out of your comfort zone. that’s fucking crazy
ok he got laid at the time more than me? I’m not going to fucking attribute it to THAT!
I’m waiting my copy of the book. Do they talk about that in tha book? For real, for reall…
peeeeeace
Strategy and Tactics differ…Group theory still matters, so does value But the WAY in which these strategies are implemented, ie tactics, will need to change for people who rely on specific tactics.
You see Inner Game and a base understanding of social structure allows us to still put strategies into affect, even if they have little resemblence on a superficial level.
so, your father, you were in the lounge?
what’s your real handle?? come on now, don’t hide
intuit, you sould like a computer, like an engineer. like a general or something, like you work in the pentagon
that’s funny
I don’t mean to knock anyone’s efforts or work, but TC, now that you think the GAME book is the bible, has everything and is all that,
how do you feel about your book, art of approaching, and all it’s dogma. Are you inspired to make something better..??
And what did happen to TDs book? I read on the forum mASF that his editors or whatever had to censor and soften parts of it- that sucks in my opinion. make everything acceptable to everybody so it does nobody any good. ahh well, that’s just the game in the greater society as a whole. if you want diamonds you have to dig deeper
TylerDurden rocks!
FUCK Style.
so…. Tyler Durden is a copy cat/ re-packager of info who took advantage of Mystery.
How often does this happen in the Community where a person who came up with game and had someone other dumbass take their info….and CLAIM they now have a NEW, IMPROVED System???
Fuck RSD.
anyways, if you want a real book go to

style and TD are my bitches.
JazzPUA, I wouldn’t be so sure that Herbal was pulling lots of women while he dressed as one. It took him about 4-6 months (I can’t remember exactly) to get laid when he first moved to Proj. Hollywood. That was while living with Mystery and Style.
Also, Herbal was so desperate for pussy that he developed oneitis for his friend’s gf.
I think you’re probably getting laid more than Herbal, and always have JazzPUA. Everyone just assumes all the big names must be getting laid more than them, but that just isn’t true…..
..in fact, most famous guys hide their real results…..
….b/c most avergae guys are getting laid more…..
….so they try to hide from the….

jazzguy…
as for me, it doesn’t matter who i am really…i got in, couldn’t imagine myself hanging out with most of the members in real-life, and then deleted myself from there…mystery made the lounge out to be the place where the best of the best were…but in reality it was just an online clique of acquaintances started by a guy by the handle of Nathan Szilard…and even mystery was kicked out eventually…his new commercial “lounge” is what he now refers to as “Mystery’s Lounge”
i post all this not to bash on people, but to enlighten everyone to what this community is really like.
Gotta agree with NormalGuy, Anthony, your book pretty much sucked. Not much theory and it seems like you are simply relying on fool’s mate to get laid. I would rather run solid game and screw the chicks until I have had enough of them, NOT the other way around. I’m not trying to be a dick, simply just stating my opinion.
Wow..
Will the read Tyler Durden please stand up?
No! Not you Brad Pitt!
the community is the funniest place in the world..
4-6 months, eh..
the way to work on solid game is to work on solid career, solid occupation, solid lifestyle, solid social circle relationships, substance behind strategy
that’s fucking outer game. inner game is not being an excuser
bitches..
Style: Your Tyler/Heat Miser comparison is HILARIOUS!! And your book ROCKS!! Ignore the losers…
im RICH BITCH!!!!
>>>Mystery your such a fucking ross jeffries
LOL
Now that’s an insult!
Like I’ve said before:
Goad… troll… dig… flame… lie… counter lie… expose… innunedo… sorted… burn… duck… weave… parry… half-truth… stab… stumble… attack… ignore… inflict… crush… own… rule…
Man this drama stuff is awesome!!!!
I want more! I want it now!
Again, the issue is that Style must either be a world class loser or world class liar, perhaps both. This guy has been writing for Rolling Stone for years, hanging out with the hottest of the hot babes and celebs, he makes a good bit of money, and is not in fact some ugly sloppy guy. Plus the guy had/had access to tons of people in bands, etc. Anyone in that situation should be able to succeed with women without much work. Thus, it seems that the whole premise of this book is to downplay the social and seductive skills he already had, while making the book more dramatic to boost sales.
Most of you who read this site try to compare Style’s life and experience with seduction to you own journey. He in fact is not, and never was, in a similar situation to you–contrary to what he cliams. He has always had more money than most of you and had access to much hotter chicks than you have. He has always been in situations where with any sort of balls anyone could be getting laid.
Therefore, it seems that the entire premise of this book is bullshit. The entire premise of this guy climbing the seduction ladder and then becoming the top guy is bullshit. The premise that this guy comes from such a hard background and was such a loser is total crap. Many of the guys in the community are uglier than Style. Many of the guys in the community would blow their father to have 10% of the opportunities Style has had in life. Remember guys, Style is a professional writer. His job is to tell a good story. By definition he is good at bullshitting people, stringing people along, cozying up to famous people and using the information in books, getting into other people’s realties to make for a better article or interview, finding hot buttons and pushing them, etc. These are all things he had to do to be a good writer and to hang out with Motley Crue, Jenna Jaimison, etc. Give me a fucking break. This guy is not in a simialr to boat to anyone who reads this site on a regular basis.
Again, think of how much money Style makes per year. Not that he doesn’t deserve it (he’s a damn good writer), but the guy has written several best selling books. So, he is not having to worry about the daily grind of making a living like 99% of guys out there.
Why did Mystery and the RSD boys suck up to Style? They all hoped he would write about them in his books and artilces on seduction. And Style has put out for them. This entire business is all self serving guys. Who knows what pushed Style to get int with Ross, Mystery, RSD, etc. I would put to you that he had the idea going into his relationships with those guys that he would eventually write a book about the community and capitalize on it for himself.
The biggest problem is all you suckers out there who think he is like you. That you share some common bond with him. That he gives a fuck about you. That since you read these sites or even go to seminars by RSD and Mystery that it makes you part of the “in” crowd, or that it matters one bit. It just doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Style didn’t blow any secrets or do anything out of integrity. This whole seduction thing is filled with self serving fucks. And most of the guys who post on here are looking to scam women, scam other guys, rip off ebooks, fuck over their brother, use negs to get what they want, learn a better AMOG technique. It’s all the same thing you fucking wanna be wimps.
I’d say this board is ready to get some registration system.
