Guaging the Dominant Girl

You know, in every group of people, there’s an inherent social hierarchy that exists. In every group of women, there’s always a leader, a “dominant girl” who pretty much controls the thoughts and action of all the other girls she’s with. You’ve seen it before, so have I. Now, Tyler Durden comments on this phenomenon.

There is usually a dominant friend in the set. Typically its the most physically attractive, but sometimes that is not the case. I typically roll in and engage the group, and move quickly to the girl that I want. The other night I was gaming a legit 10. 6’1, blonde, perfect body, fake breasts, etc.. She was all over me, but her friend dragged her off. I realized that my error was misreading the hierarchy of the group. If she’d been the one in control, her followers never would have done that. I could have engaged her directly, and the friends would have just sat there. But despite this girls’ protests, she was dragged away twice that night by her dominant UG friend, and I didn’t get her. It’s something to consider – gauging how you’ll run the set group wise if the dominant friend is a potentially jealous cockblock. She dragged off her 10 friend as soon as she was nose to nose with me. I did extremely well that night with girls that were almost as attractive, but this girl was really worthy. She was definitely very beta to her friends though. It was obvious. As usual, it was funny to be face to face with a girl who was about 7 inches taller than me in her heals. I got a few girls almost as hot later in the night, and it was a great night overall. I’ve had a great flake ratio in the last few months. Callbacks on messages and everything, which was less consistent in the past.

I know I’ve run into situations when I thought I was totally in with a girl, only to have her dragged away by her Dominant friend. It’s always important to figure out which girl in the set you’re in is the Dominant one, it can save you a lot of headaches.

I was in a situation one time with a friend where we were gaming a two set. My buddy was in REALLY well with the Dominant chick, but because she was putting up a lot of shit tests, and her friend was an easier target, he shifted gears and started gaming the friend. Of course, this meant that the Dominant one felt neglected and got jealous. She ended up dragging the friend away and my buddy got neither girl. Had he kept engaging the dominant one, or at least turned one over to me, that might not have happened.

One of the best books I read on this topic was “Queen Bees and Wannabes,” which the movie “Mean Girls” is based on. Sure, it focuses mainly on high school age girls, but I don’t think things progress much beyond that. If you wanna check out the book, you can do so here.
