Yet More Controversy From The Croatia Camp

I found a thread posted by croation Pick-Up Artist Shark on the Advanced forums of mASF about how he uses "You are beautiful, I would like to get to know you," as his Opener as part of the Direct Approach theory that the Croatian guys seem to be big on.
Of course, there’s a great deal of debate within the community as to the validity of this approach. Some swear that the direct approach will blow you out with a girl immediately unless you have the looks/money/power/fame to back it up. Others hold fast to the belief that if you’re congruent and alpha in your belief with it, it will work better than any other approach out there.
Obviously, with this controversy, you have quite a few people taking Shark to task about the validity of this type of approach (especially people from the Tyler Durden camp). It makes for an interesting debate. Direct Approaches very rarely work for me, but then again, I’m not as congruent as someone like Shark seems to be.

I think that the most direct way is the best. It’s not like (what I understand) that after this like theyre ready totally in love with the guy. But which is better, coming stright out and having the balls to tell the girl exactly why you’re there, or asking them about Elvis and his hair? I like direct better. But it takes a lot of balls.

If you have great social proof, and life, good example is Dennis Rodman.I bet he would feel stupid right now not taking what he deserves.
I think this all comes down to how to you feel. If you feel like a PRICE, really price.Cause shark is not Dennis rodman, but for fuck his attitude is like HE IS.And result is same as dennis rodman would have.(almost)

I’m a newbie.I started using the direct approach and girls answer better compared to opinion openers or indirect approaches. I think that the point is doing things (in this case approaches) that are different from the rest of people in your area and test them on the field.

Direct approach is actually what seduction is all about because girls want to be taken.
You cannot take a girl “indirectly” so at a certain point in the seduction you need to transition or phase shift into being direct.
Whether you do that from the first sentence or much later is a personal preference. But if she doesn’t know what you really want, you are actually just a pussy. Direct and confident is much more powerful.

hey thundercat…IMO indirect is better in a social setting. 1+ set, like in a club, social gathering, etc, but if’s a DEAD cold approach, throw in time contraints, poor logistics/obstacles…i’ll start off indirect if i have to…but immidiately switch to direct, in a matter of seconds, with a very sexual undertone, get some response, if negative, make the ho say no, then befriend her, so she could social proof me. in the process, I’M actually LJBFing, not vice versa, we go out so that i hook up with other chicks in front of her, she gets jealous…i’m alpha and non supplicative…i fuck her…she fucks me…
